I believe in letting dogs be dogs—getting to play, explore, and be part of a structured “pack” environment—while still maintaining clear boundaries and supervision at all times. I take introductions seriously and make sure each dog is comfortable before integrating them into the group. I’m crate-friendly and happy to follow your dog’s routine, whether that includes crating for rest, downtime, or safety. Each dog gets individual attention as well as safe social interaction, depending on their personality and needs. I have a large, secluded yard with natural tree lines, though it is not fenced. Because of that, dogs are never off-leash until I’m confident in their recall and comfort in the space. Until then, all outdoor time is supervised using a leash or long line so they can safely explore and burn energy. When caring for pets in your home, I keep their routine as consistent as possible and make sure they feel comfortable in their own space. At the end of the day, your dog isn’t just being watched—they’re being included, understood, and cared for as part of a well-managed, active environment.

About: I've taken care of different breeds of dogs up to approximately 40 lbs. This has included grooming, administering medication, walking, and light training. I have taken a training class at the Humane Society for dog care. I have also taken care of horses including grooming and training for barrel racing and showing. I have taken care of bunny rabbits up to 19 rabbits at a time. I am flexible in my availability. Although I prefer part-time, I would be willing to stay with pets or have pets stay with me full time for specific periods of time for one month intervals. In special situations, I would consider longer intervals (to be determined on a case by case basis). I have ample space to walk dogs on my nearly 3/4 acre rural property which includes grassy and wooded areas. At this time, my flexible schedule allows me to spend plenty of time devoted to provide love and care for your dog. Currently, I do not have a dog myself. However, I have had the pleasure of owning dogs in the past. Now I am enjoying caring for my 11 year old pet rabbit Zahara.
