About: For as long as I can remember I’ve had dogs in my life. From bottle feeding pups when momma couldn't nurse, to senior dogs, to dogs that need medication regularly, to dogs with terminal illnesses, and any stay cat that finds me! I’ve experienced quite a broad spectrum of pet care needs and circumstances. I’ve learned so many things along the way that have helped me be a great pet parent! I’m also a licensed nurse and can use my skills to evaluate and treat when necessary. There is nothing like the unconditional love and affection from an animal. <3 I have a remote job position that allows me to move around and work too. I have 3 big dogs at home that are crate trained giving me flexibility. I have a side hustle craft business that can be woven in-between pet services and take care of my grandson Ryder on Wednesdays. Our dogs are not just pets, they are our family. We have a large fenced yard and they have their own area with lots of toys where they can be safe playing and enjoy outside time. They are always supervised during play time. I prefer to care for pets in their own space where they are most comfortable and everything is familiar to them. I can adapt to other surroundings without issue.

“If you are an anxious cat mama (or dad) Alexis is the sitter for you! I had the pleasure of having Alexis watch my fur baby Tam for 7 days! Tam has abandonment issues and can be a bit shy especially when in a new environment & me being the over enthusiastic cat mama that I am, can be worried leaving her for such long periods of time. Alexis was THE ABSOLUTE BEST in helping ease my heart and mind as I went away for the week. She sent me SEVERAL detailed updates daily with lots of photos and by the end of the trip Tam was following Alexis around the house (which means she’s extra comfortable!) Alexis was sweet enough to give Tam her own private space in the guest room but also gave her the option to roam free if she’d like (tam loves her solitude), lots of playtime, lots of patience and lots of love I would absolutely book with Alexis again! Thank you for taking such sweet care of my Tam!”

I have also worked at a Pet Boarding company and have experience administering medication. I truly love being around animals and giving them the love they deserve. I am a stay at home mom, who has two dogs and two cats, and pet care is part of my everyday life. From playing fetch, to taking long walks, they need constant love and attention. About: I grew up living on a farm and have owned a wide variety of animals. I have always had animals in the house and enjoy their presence so much! This past year, I have personally taken care of pets for several family friends which included feeding, bathing, staying over night, taking them for walks, etc. I am currently an online college student for the summer and am available in the mornings until about 12:00pm. I have a part time job that requires me to be away for about 6 hours during the afternoon, but can spend mornings, and evenings, and nights with your pets if needed! I have two dogs in the home I currently live in and they are let outside to go to the bathroom as soon as they wake up. They are also fed in the morning shortly after. I will typically play outside with them/take them for a walk in the morning and take them to the bathroom again before I head to my job. When I get home from work, they are let outside again and then fed for dinner. I will then either take them for a walk or play with them in the evening before bed! They are always taken outside to go to the bathroom before bed as well.

Cari M.
“Hello, and thank you for the opportunity to share a little bit about my friend, Cari. I have known Cari for 29 years, and during that time, her biggest passion—besides her children—has been her animals, ranging from horses to dogs and cats. For over 15 years, Cari has been a dedicated supporter of the SPCA, where she has organized many fundraisers to help animals in need. Cari and her husband, Sam, have always chosen to adopt their pets or take in strays that happen to find their way to their garage. Over the years, they have welcomed many into their family and have comforted those pets as they took their last breaths. Cari prepares her dog food to ensure her pets receive the best nutrition. Unsurprisingly, she is a proud Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who chose the nursing field to help and care for patients. Without hesitation, I trust Cari entirely with my children, grandchildren, and pets. She would be a valuable asset to your organization.”
