Our Story Hearth & Herd Animal Care was founded out of a lifelong passion for animals and a deep commitment to their well-being. With over two decades of hands-on experience in animal care — including several years as a veterinary technician — I bring both professional expertise and heartfelt dedication to every animal I serve. In addition to running Equine Care Services LLC, a trusted provider of horse care in the region, I’ve built long-standing relationships with my clients — many of whom have relied on my services for over ten years. I am proud to be a trusted partner in their animals’ lives. Whether it's daily walks, feeding routines, medication administration, or specialized farm animal care, every service is tailored with attention, consistency, and compassion. And as of this year, I am also Animal CPR and First Aid certified, further ensuring your animals' safety under my care. At Hearth & Herd, your animals are more than just clients — they’re family. My career has always been dedicated to the care of animals. They are a part of my everyday life. I would be lost without them. I will care for your pets as if they are one of my own. I have a fenced yard, an outdoor and indoor kennels if needed, plenty of fresh air, and lots of snuggles.

About: I have lived on a farm since born and have owned all types of animals! I currently work from home everyday so dogs are always with someone. I worked at my hometown vet clinic for over 8 years so very experienced with any species of animal! I have taken care of our clients animals and I have been fortunate that they have recommended me to others as well! I am very much an animal lover! I have experience taking care of farm animals such as horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and even feral barn cats to domestic animals in the home. I own horses, chickens, goats, and dogs of my own. I am known to be very realiable and flexible with any schedule! I am able to meet anyone’s demands if needed and will care for your pet as if my own! I work from home and am with my dogs at almost all times! Always am available to take time to play and help reduce energy levels! I have a fenced yard and free roaming pasture for high energy dogs! My dogs love to play with others and love to run around and engage in playing.

About: I have 30+ years of responsible pet ownership. I guess I really should say my pets have a combined 25+ years of Jenn ownership. I am a teacher and have a fairly flexible schedule. I have not met a dog that I did not like. I live in a great neighborhood that offers sidewalks or wide streets to allow for walks. I have experience with oral and injectable medications. My dogs eat in the morning and evenings. I do not usually feed my dogs store bought treats as they prefer fresh carrots, green beans, asparagus, and sugar snap peas. While your dog is in my care, I will take care of him/her like they are my own. Your fur babies are in good hands with me! I'm a teacher during the school year. I have a dog door so potty breaks aren't an issue. I feed my personal dogs twice a day. I treat all animals in my care as if they were my own. I don't kennel unless pet parents request it. Animals in my care have free roaming privileges in my home. I'm a retired teacher looking to care for pets full-time. I hope to fill my day with petting, playing, and walking your pets! I have a fenced yard and a pet door so your pups can come and go as they please. I also have 2 pups of my own who can play with and keep yours company. I can easily crate your pups if needed.

I love getting to know each dog’s personality, routines, and comfort needs so they feel right at home here. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers naps and cuddles, I’ll make sure they receive patient, loving care and lots of affection. I know leaving your pet with someone else requires trust, and I’ll do everything I can to give you peace of mind with updates, photos, and dependable communication during their stay. I’d love the opportunity to care for your furry family member! Pet care is a natural part of my daily life because I work from home and have been a lifelong dog owner. Pets get plenty of attention, outdoor time, playtime in my fenced yard, regular potty breaks, and lots of affection throughout the day. Because I’m home most of the time, dogs are rarely left alone and can enjoy a calm, comfortable environment where they’re treated like part of the family. I provide dogs a safe, secure place to be themselves with personal attention and mindful consideration of their needs. Because I have dogs of my own, any visiting dog will have playmates and socialization throughout their stay.

About: I have been pet sitting since before my children were born and they are now grown. I am a young retiree with lots of time, but I am also active enough to keep up with even the most energetic babies. Most pets do better in their own environment and routine. Advanced notice is required to prior to gather all the information necessary to ensure a smooth process. Spoiling your pet with all the attention they require is my top priority. With house sitting services, you have the added bonus of having your home looked after as well. When appropriate, I also offer boarding services in my home one client at a time. ***My dog will stay with me on all house sitting bookings*** I adjust my schedule to your meet your babies needs. Your babies come first, my schedule comes second. I am retired, so I spend the vast majority of the day with them. During the meet and greet, I gather all the information needed in order to keep their routine as close as possible to their current routine.

About: I have much experience with all types of dogs, bigger pups like German Shepherds, or smaller pups like Yorkies! As well as many other breeds. I have handled reactive dogs, leash pullers, and lazy ones! Happy to help whoever I can! I’m a new stay at home mom, so getting out and getting fresh air during the day while you work, or keeping an eye on them while you’re away is perfect for me! I live on 10 acres of land with a big 3 acre pond. Plenty for a pup to roam, without getting too close to traffic ways, as might house is behind the pond on the far back of the acreage. As well as a beautiful neighborhood for walks! Can crate pups if needed!

About: I love pets! I have two small children who adore animals, i am looking to do a bit more with my days and help out those who need help with their pets! I am super flexible and have a big back yard and an SUV incase transportation is needed! I have 2 dogs that are super friendly and playful. I have a male cat who keeps to himself and loves our dogs. We just moved to the area so I am just getting started. Let me know if you have any more questions or want to meet up and do a doggy introduction to see if its a good fit! I look forward to chatting! I work 4 days a week so I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I can board over the weekends as well. I have a fenced in yard and two fur babies of my own to keep your pups company! I’m also willing to traveling to come to your home to care for your pets.

About: I grew up surrounded by lots of animals! I love dogs of all sizes and kinds, although I have to say my favorite is pugs! Since moving out of my parents, I only have a kitty (her name is Olive 🫒) and I really miss the happiness a dog brings! I’d love to care for, walk, and love your fur babies as if they were my own!! I go to school a couple hours per week and the rest is online, therefore I am pretty flexible! I work a part time job as well that is no more than 2 days a week. I will care for your pets as my own and follow all safety measures in order to keep them safe, happy, and healthy. I believe our pets are our children and should be loved and taken care of as such!

About: Hello! My name is Mak! I am a dog lover and enthusiast! I've had animals growing up my entire life and I have four pets of my own; two cats, a Pembroke corgi, and a black lab. We can't wait to meet your best friend! I'm sure we will have lots of fun with activities, car rides, and more. I have led two pets through therapeutic trainings, have cared for over 55 pets through Rover since 2019, and have the resources to ensure your baby is comfortable while you’re away. Put your buddy in good hands when you can't be home and enjoy knowing your best pal is at a safe place. I currently work from home so I am here for your dogs all day! We start the day with breakfast, potty breaks, play time, then we nap a bit; next we have lunch/ dinner and play some more! I have a large sized fenced in back yard. I also have two dogs of my own. We will take naps, snuggle, play fetch, go on car rides, to the park or nature, and enjoy a few snacks. :)
