Our Story Hearth & Herd Animal Care was founded out of a lifelong passion for animals and a deep commitment to their well-being. With over two decades of hands-on experience in animal care — including several years as a veterinary technician — I bring both professional expertise and heartfelt dedication to every animal I serve. In addition to running Equine Care Services LLC, a trusted provider of horse care in the region, I’ve built long-standing relationships with my clients — many of whom have relied on my services for over ten years. I am proud to be a trusted partner in their animals’ lives. Whether it's daily walks, feeding routines, medication administration, or specialized farm animal care, every service is tailored with attention, consistency, and compassion. My home is in a quiet rural town with a securely fenced yard where dogs can safely explore, play, and relax. I love getting to know each dog’s personality, routines, and comfort needs so they feel right at home here. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers naps and cuddles, I’ll make sure they receive patient, loving care and lots of affection. I know leaving your pet with someone else requires trust, and I’ll do everything I can to give you peace of mind with updates, photos, and dependable communication during their stay. I’d love the opportunity to care for your furry family member! Pet care is a natural part of my daily life because I work from home and have been a lifelong dog owner. Pets get plenty of attention, outdoor time, playtime in my fenced yard, regular potty breaks, and lots of affection throughout the day. About: I have lived on a farm since born and have owned all types of animals! I currently work from home everyday so dogs are always with someone. I worked at my hometown vet clinic for over 8 years so very experienced with any species of animal! I have taken care of our clients animals and I have been fortunate that they have recommended me to others as well! I am very much an animal lover! I have experience taking care of farm animals such as horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and even feral barn cats to domestic animals in the home. I own horses, chickens, goats, and dogs of my own. I am a young retiree with lots of time, but I am also active enough to keep up with even the most energetic babies. Most pets do better in their own environment and routine. Advanced notice is required to prior to gather all the information necessary to ensure a smooth process. Spoiling your pet with all the attention they require is my top priority. With house sitting services, you have the added bonus of having your home looked after as well. When appropriate, I also offer boarding services in my home one client at a time. ***My dog will stay with me on all house sitting bookings*** I adjust my schedule to your meet your babies needs. Dogs enjoy a consistent routine of feeding, play, and scheduled outdoor time in a fenced yard (with or without my two dogs- preference based). All medications are administered exactly as prescribed and logged. For the safety of everyone, only pets who are current on vaccinations and demonstrate friendly temperaments are accepted. The environment is always low-density, meaning I take a limited number of guests at any time to guarantee that every animal receives the maximum amount of personal attention, love, and care.

About: I have much experience with all types of dogs, bigger pups like German Shepherds, or smaller pups like Yorkies! As well as many other breeds. I have handled reactive dogs, leash pullers, and lazy ones! Happy to help whoever I can! I’m a new stay at home mom, so getting out and getting fresh air during the day while you work, or keeping an eye on them while you’re away is perfect for me! I live on 10 acres of land with a big 3 acre pond. Plenty for a pup to roam, without getting too close to traffic ways, as might house is behind the pond on the far back of the acreage. As well as a beautiful neighborhood for walks! Can crate pups if needed!

About: I’ve spent my entire life caring for and loving animals. I was farm raised so my love for animals stretches beyond just cats and dogs. I have had experience with all ages of animals from newborns to seniors in their last stages of life. In the last few years I’ve fostered many animals in hopes of giving them a second chance at life. My pets are my family and I’ll ensure your pets feel welcome and safe with me too! I work from home allowing me to be with the pets almost all the time. I am able to accommodate almost any food or potty schedule, helping pets feel less stressed and in a familiar routine. I have a large fenced yard and two very sweet dogs to keep your pets entertained. We also have a cat who sticks to herself but who also isn’t afraid of new animals. We have 3 children from age 8-16. I can accommodate most schedules including feedings, walking, potty breaks, medicines or any other special needs that your pet might have. About: I’ve owned many pets, cats and dogs included. I currently own dogs, and I spend most of my day, everyday, with them. They’re my people. I am 20 years old and currently doing Rover full time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pups. They will receive my undivided attention with playtime and walks included if needed! I have a large home with a large privacy fenced yard. I also have several crates, or you can bring your own if you like. I have ample food in case you forget to bring your own. I will allow your pets to hang out with me wherever I am in the house and take them out frequently for restroom breaks to the backyard . I also have a room designated just for dogs with a TV, dog couch, and toys. I have gates to block stairways for dogs that don’t do well on stairs. Basically I have everything you need to provide a safe, comfortable, and happy environment for pets!

About: Ive been doing Rover now for almost 2 years and it has brought me so much joy and new friends! I worked a summer at kc zoo and it was the most fun job I have ever had. I've had dogs and cats my whole life. Also around horses from my uncle. I have adopted all of my animals from shelters. I love my dogs and cats like they are family. I have a teenage son I have to keep out of petco or any other animal place otherwise he wants to bring all the animals home, joking but not completely untrue. It's how we ended up with our Kitty Maisey. We even took care of the class's bearded dragon over spring break during Covid. He will come along on visits if available as he is the animal whisperer and wants to be a vet. Our 2 dogs are Dottie (our adopted covid pointer mix pup who is the sweetest girl and loves to have visitors to play with), and Marley who is our very sweet, laid back senior dog. Both our pups were rescues. Marley is afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks so we sre familliar with giving medications and making dogs feel safe and comfortable. Dottie is allergic to something during the late summer and September month and takes medicine for that allergy at that time. We believe in treats but only rawhide free and dental bones. Please bring your own food and treats and let me know if you prefer not to share our treats. We also have 2 cats that are used to dogs and in fact think that each dog is their mommy since we got them as kittens and have an attachment to their respective dog mommy. You will even find cats and dogs snuggling together on the bed. Or Moose playing with Dottie in his tunnel. I have had animals with special needs from a diabetic cat that I gave insulin injections to treating animals with special needs. I live right down the street from a great dog park here in belton. We would love to take any new friends to visit. Please let me know if you prefer them not to go to the dog park and we can stay here and play. We have a fenced back yard but one side is only 4 ft. I work from home as a director so I have a very flexible schedule. My son does play competitive soccer so sometimes weekends have us at soccer field for about 2 hours. I have a fenced yard 3 sides are 6 foot privacy and one has a 4 foot chain link. I follow my client's care directions in their homes.

About: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs since I was about 8 years old! From my own to pets of friends and family. I consider animals as important as people! I’ve also cared for my own and other’s fish, birds, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks. I’m an avid hiker and love walking with dogs and even have a cat of my own that I leash trained and goes on walks with me! I’ll play with your pets, take them out for fresh air and exercise, or just hang out for awhile so they don’t think they’ve been abandoned (as some cats and dogs seem to believe)! I am a (for the most part) stay at home mom with a few side jobs. My schedule is highly flexible and can usually accommodate your needs. I love playing with animals! Can feed and give medications as needed in most situations. Scoop poop. Make sure they haven’t torn apart the plants! Etc! In my home care, pets can be walked on a regular basis. Can have their own room if needed or have access to kennel. We have a large house and plenty of room to play. Prices are flexible depending on the location, number and type of animals.

About: I haven't dog sat previously, but I have owned a dog since I was a little kid. I know the ins and outs of taking care ofa pe. I currently have a full-time job, so I would care for your pet on weekends, holidays, or some early mornings. If known in advance I can try and take some time off to care for your pet if needed more than just weekends. I have a fenced back yard, with 3 friendly dogs that would keep your pup busy! I also have extra kennels if your pet must be kenneled!

We currently have a two year old female Goldendoodle that is super spoiled and friendly, and 10 month old female cat that is also super sweet and friendly! They compete our family! I’ve also cared for family and friends’s pets when needed, so I have lots of experience taking care of other peoples fur babies! I currently work from home, so I have lots of flexibility in my day to tend to a dogs daily needs. I have availability through the week and most weekends as well! I have a fenced in yard and one friendly Goldendoodle that would love to entertain a furry guest! I can crate if desired but for the most part your dog will be treated like family. Our dog is our big baby and spends her day around us and not kenneled throughout the day or night. We used to use her crate at night when she was a puppy and potty training, but she no longer needs it, so she typically sleeps in a room with one of our children. We can try to best accommodate your routine requests to keep your pet feeling right at home!
