About: Experience of being around dogs, cats,rabbits for many years. I understand that dogs need walking, not just for exercise but for mental stimulation too - whatever the weather! I work part-time (variable day shifts), and I have flexibility to work around my shifts to fit in with all your pets' needs and requirements. I am DBS checked. I would care for your pet as my own and follow your guidance on 'house-rules' eg - feeding routine, voice commands, any off-limit areas etc.

About: I have always grown up with pets. A house isn’t a home without one! I have fostered for a spaniel charity and am always the go to for my friends when they need a pet sitter! Fostering through the spaniel charity taught me so much. From how important nutrition is for animals, to how much a breed can impact a dogs personality and the requirements the dog needs from this. I worked closely with Behavourist’s for one of my foster dogs who has terrible separation anxiety. I am thrilled he now is living a very happy life with a doggy friend and amazing adopted family. I also learnt how to train a crazy springer teenager who was only use to the walls of a crate, and would go mad when he’s outside. He now thrives living by the beach. I miss having a dog and would be thrilled to look after yours so I can fill that gap in my own life! I work remotely on Thursdays and Fridays, and have availability Saturday and Sundays. I have an hour lunch break if your pet needs a visit and walk midday, or I can sit with them whilst I work remotely! I am also available in the evenings on all days. I will ensure the pet has access to clean water, they are fed and have been to the bathroom. I will ensure they are safe (gated garden) and they have mental stimulation in the form of playing and cuddles!

Cara is very scared of people and immediately she bonded with Leah and gets excited when she sees her and doesn’t get anxiety when she stays with Leah, Cara only has this with 2 other people me and my mum. Leah is affectionate with her and I feel 110% confident that Cara is in safe and responsible hands. I have and will continue to use Leah for my pup sitting needs.”

“Katie looked after my cat for 2 days and went in to check on her and just stayed and put the TV on and chilled out, she brought snacks with her, cleaned up and took her rubbish with her even though I said she didn't have to :) my little girl loved her when she came in and sat with her the majority of the time she was there. Katie sent me photos and videos and deleted them once sent so she didn't keep them on her phone but made sure I felt happy that my baby was okay and happy and I wasn't feeling fully detached from her. Really sad she has now moved away to Northampton but I highly recommend her! She is fabulous and has such a love for animals!”

About: I have been around dogs since I was 10 years old and regularly look after and walk friends and family’s dogs at the moment. Looking to help others as I am walking all the time! I work from home most days and have lots of flexibility. I normally go on at least 3 walks a day and would love to have a dog to come along with me! My flat is very secure, I do have a balcony which is also very secure. I will be in the flat at all times with the dog.

In short, I offer the following: - Dog walking adventures: engaging and lengthy dog walks custom to your dogs exercise requirement - Pet sitting: dogs and cats - Dog Nutrition: nutritional advice and bespoke meal prep service I currently live on my own and due to house rules, I do not have a dog. However my parents do have a 2 year old Springer Spaniel who I look after regularly when I visit and always help train. In addition to this, I help look after and play with a few of my close friends’ pets almost on a daily basis. I have over 10 years’ worth of active pet care experience, but I have been raised with pets my whole life, from fishes, hamsters, chinchillas, to cats and dogs in all shapes and sizes. I like to go on long walks, at least twice a day and I would love to take either an individual dog or a pack on the walks with me. I think it would be an amazing opportunity for the dogs to go on interesting and engaging adventures, and it would help motivate me to get my steps in! My services would be ideal for people who do not have enough time or are unable to take their pets on walks. I am working towards a canine training, behaviouralism and nutrition qualification. It is something that has always fascinated me and I am confident in my skills to be able to teach them a few of the basic commands as well as provide nutritional advice.
