I had to reach out to Rover customer support to revise my review because I realized he had completely cleaned my patio where my dog likely had an accident AND took out the trash after cleaning it up. It should also be noted that he sent me pictures that demonstrated that he was actually playing with my dog and giving her lots of attention and love for the short period that he was there and not just waiting for the time to be up. My name is Emily Huffer, I'm 27 years old and I absolutely adore animals. I have been dogsitting since my early high school days and I currently volunteer at a local shelter as well—can’t get enough animals! I am comfortable with overnight stays, daily check ins, walks, you name it. When I say I love dogs, I 100% mean it. I do not currently have my own pup, so dogsitting allows me to fill that gap in my life. It would be an honor to care for your babies! I also have a very understanding boss who offers additional flexibility when I need it! I always make sure to follow whatever rules/guidelines that you provide for me. For example, crating the pup while out of the house, making sure fenced and doors are shut, providing necessary medication, making sure there’s at least 45 minutes of snuggle time, etc. :)

It is such a blessing to be able to leave town, or take care of my health, knowing the creatures I love have received the food and water they need, as well as the hugs, tummy rubs, and chin scratches that make them love Julie. I had one senior cat who needed special care, including subcutaneous fluids. I was terrified about leaving town knowing that this sweet little cat might cross the rainbow bridge while I was away. But Julie was there for my little Sarah, gave her the fluids and medicine she needed, along with the love that makes all the difference. Sarah lived a little longer and while I was out of town I was able to breathe and confidently tackle the work I needed to get done. Julie is amazing! Your pets are in the best of hands!”
