But I am so glad we found her! She walked our dogs for 2 weeks while we were out of the country. We have Boston Terriers and were nervous about any potential hot weather we were having while we were gone. She assured us she understood the needs of our breed and made sure to walk them later in the afternoon-evening when it was cool. I think the dogs really enjoyed walking with her! About: In my adult life I have had three rescue dogs. The first two lived until age 13 and 15. The third one is 4 years old and takes tremendous amounts of patience and love due to his anxiety and fear I work full time from a remote office- which can be anywhere. When pet sitting I can work from the pet’s own home so that they are comfortable and happy. I make my own hours so I can do frequent walks and play breaks. Caring for pets in a client’s home demands trust. Following all instructions and honoring the client’s wishes is paramount. I’m a big walker and love taking pets out for walks or going to the park to play. I can also just do cuddles on the couch. Whatever your dog needs, I can provide it.

“To whom it may concern: I have witnessed many different types of pet owners. I’ve seen abuse, neglect, and malnourishment. I have also seen owners who treat their animals like family, whose dogs are well trained, well natured, and well mannered. Jessica is someone who not only has a family member of a dog. He is well trained, natured, and mannered. Jessica took a two year old golden retriever/lab mix in for a week. I only had him for a week before leaving him with her. When I got him back he knew sit, stay out of the kitchen, and to not enter doorways until I do first. Unfortunately, my dog destroyed a couple items that I had to replace. I would rate her a 10/10.”

About: I’ve had over 30 years of dog energy in my home with my own doggos who all lived to be 15-17 years old. Each was a dear companion on all sorts of outdoor adventures. One dog had medical needs all his life, and I learned how to properly care for his epilepsy, arthritis, and effects of vestibular disease. I truly enjoy dogs of all sizes, ages, and stage of the training process. As a retired teacher, I have the time to give your pup the special attention they enjoy. I’m a retired elementary school teacher and physically active with hiking, biking, and skiing. It would be my pleasure to care for your pet. I can easily adapt my schedule to fit any age dog. I am a homeowner who understands the needs of each pet in my care and also the needs of the client when maintaining their home environment. I am conscientious and punctual.

Anytime I've left town, I feel 120% confident that my golden retriever Margot will not only be cared for, but will have fun adventures, and be loved on just as I would be loving on her. Emily is so great about taking her to the foothills for hikes, and she gets even more exercise by playing with Gus (Emily's pooch)! Emily is fantastic about communicating with me on how Margot is doing, what her day has looked like, and she sends pictures and videos so I can see how happy my fur-baby is while I'm gone. Honestly, when I go to pick her up and take her home, she isn't as excited to see me as I am her. :) She has such a great time with Emily and definitely feels loved. I've often said that if anything should happen to me, I would want Margot to go to Emily. I would recommend her with zero reservations. She's an amazing, kind, loving person and she loves dogs just as much as this crazy dog lady. :)”
