When he boards with her, not only are his needs being met, but he has so much fun and is exhausted when he comes home. Just how we like him :-). About: Hello! I grew up with large dogs and upon moving out from my home have had dogs, fish, and cats ever since. I have cared for large dogs, small dogs, and cats for over 20 years. I currently have three incredibly friendly and easy going dogs, including a remarkable Labrador retriever pup. I am currently retiring from a career in federal law enforcement. I am available most days and nights for your pets care. I understand the importance of pet diets, exercise, and socialization and make it a priority. My home is my pets home. We have a large 1.5 acre invisible fenced in yard surrounded by woods and a long front yard away from the road. The other dogs tend to stick together and my lab puppy learned the yard by just following around our German shorthaired pointer and older mastiff. Any other questions just ask!

She puts their safety and needs first while ensuring they enjoy their time together. Maya has experience with multiple dogs and cats in her own home over the past 19 years, which is a huge plus. But perhaps equally important is her intelligence. She is extremely smart and this is important when having to make quick decisions to keep your pet happy and healthy. Maya communicates consistently and clearly to keep you in the loop. “I would definitely recommend Ashley for a “drop-in” visit for your pet! She responded to Rover messages in a professional and timely manner and she was open and honest about availability before we even met. Ashley came for a meet and greet and listened to all my particular requests as I am a (new!) puppy parent. Ashley “dropped-in” 1x / day for 2 days and stayed the entire 30 minutes both days! She was to let my brand new, 3 month old puppy, out of the cage and outside while practicing “sit” and “down” with Lucy. She followed all my directions perfectly as I wanted Lucy’s care to be consistent with mine, since she’s just a puppy and new to our home. I appreciated the detailed notes she wrote about her visit and the photos she included on the Rover card! It put my mind at ease while I was at work. Thank you, Ashley!
