About: A house does not feel like a home without a dog. Senior and special needs dogs are my specialty as I am an empath and naturally make animals feel loved. I know from experience, that a pet’s twilight years can be the hardest to ensure their care to others. I am patient, loving and compassionate. I understand special needs and am able to provide the care each animals needs. I am working remotely and am able to be home most of the day, if necessary. I enjoy walks and fresh air as much as I love snuggles and cuddles. I am able to adapt my schedule to the needs of each dog. I would care for yours as I would care for my own. In the twilight years of my dog’s life, there were very few people I would trust to provide her with the love and understanding I did. This made it very difficult to leave or travel without constant worry.

About: Hello, I am Cathy a recently retired dog lover and love to spend time outside in all seasons. I have grown up with and owned dogs but currently do not have a dog at home. I do have a grand dog (40 lb short hair border collie) that I frequently care for and would love to spend additional time with dogs. I have a very flexible schedule and you can rely on me as a trustworthy caregiver that will give your dog personalized care and follow your instructions. I have lived & worked in the area for 27 years & can provide references upon request. I am available most days from 9am - 4:30 pm. I prefer 1 day in advance to schedule but willing to come same day if I am available. I will give your dog personalized care and follow any instructions given. I prefer to do a meet and greet to get you know you and your dog. I would like to know your dog’s likes & dislikes as well as special needs & how your dog reacts to other dogs and people on walks. Happy to provide updates as I feel communication is important.

My availability for doggy day care and walks is when I’m working from home Mon-Thursday 10-4 with a possibility of being able to do walks on some weekends and evenings. The nature of my work schedule includes sometimes knowing my openings ahead of time and sometimes not, so I am happy to accept same day requests when I can, and also appreciate notice too! I have a 1.5 acre fenced in yard that provides plentiful new smells and exciting exploration! I also have a very friendly, sweet 2 year old Golden Retriever that loves any new friends to play with, nap with or go on walks with!
