“Paige did a great job with our two cats, stopped in daily at the same time and played with and fed them, cleaned the litter box and sent us daily updates and photos, and all went well! And the best thing was, unlike other times when we've been gone, the cats had no behavioral issues, didn't chew anything up or leave poop surprise anywhere to show their defiance-- everything was normal when we got home and they seem perfectly content :)”

About: My wife and I have had paws in our house almost from day 1. Over the years we have had 6 dogs and 7 cats, all of which came on board as puppies or kittens, and they all lived long and happy lives. Currently we have 1 dog and 2 cats. I am now retired, so I have maximum flexibility to schedule sitting/walking times. The biggest competitors for my time are the grandkids, and the lawnmower in the summer and snow shovel in the winter. Our cats are indoor cats with access to a screen porch to satisfy their outdoor desires. We have used the Invisible Fence for our previous larger dogs. The client would set the requirements for care at the pet's home. I also have walking shoes and a leash for doggie exercise. I have not signed up to care for client's animals at our house.

“Coco spent her first day with Sonja, Adam & their pups. I felt completely comfortable leaving her with them. They are personable, warm, & kind. They are clearly, comfortable & knowledgeable about dogs. Coco made herself at home within the first five minutes she was in their home, and had not a care when I left. She clearly had a blast playing with everyone. The pictures tell a story of a happy, relaxed dog who had a boat load of fun, & went home tired. Thank you Sonja & Adam.”

About: What sets me apart is my professional background as a Medical Assistant combined with my lifelong love for animals. Growing up alongside our family dog, Topacio, who has been with us for over 10 years, I have developed a deep understanding and gentle touch for senior dog care—knowing exactly how to keep older pets comfortable, safe, and happy. My medical training gives me an extra layer of responsibility, attention to detail, and a calm demeanor when looking after pets. I am well-versed in caring for dogs of all sizes and ages from friends and family, and I focus on providing a structured, loving home environment. I treat every furry guest with the same dedication and affection as if they were my own! Pet care fits perfectly into my routine because I have a flexible hybrid schedule, working some days from home doing patient video consultations and other days from the office. On my work-from-home days, I am there to provide constant companionship and potty breaks throughout the day. For the days I am at the office, my schedule is highly predictable and structured, making it ideal for pets that are comfortable with a standard workday routine. No matter my schedule for the day, my evenings and weekends are completely free and dedicated 100% to long walks, fun playtime, and plenty of love! Safety and comfort are my top priorities. Since I host pets in my home, I ensure a secure, escape-proof, and pet-friendly environment where your furry family member can feel completely relaxed. Here is how I guarantee a safe stay: Structured Supervision: Thanks to my flexible hybrid schedule, I am home several days a week, and even on my office days, my routine is highly predictable. I closely monitor all interactions, ensuring feeding and playtimes are always safe and managed. Introduction & Meet-and-Greets: I always schedule a meet-and-greet beforehand. This ensures your pet feels comfortable in my home and is a great match for our sweet senior dog, Topacio. Tailored Routines & Care: With my background as a Medical Assistant, I am extremely detail-oriented. I strictly follow your specific instructions regarding feeding schedules, exercise, and any special medication requirements to keep their days consistent. Daily Updates: I love sending frequent photos and updates so you can have total peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, happy, and receiving lots of love.
About: Home full-time and just steps from miles of walking trails, your dog will enjoy plenty of exercise, attention, and companionship throughout the day. We currently have Loki, our friendly 5-year-old Golden Retriever, who loves other dogs, playing outside, and spending time with our two boys. Our boys absolutely love dogs and are gentle, affectionate, and excited to help make visiting dogs feel like part of the family. Boarding with us means your dog will be welcomed into a real home — not treated like just another booking. We only board one dog at a time, which allows us to give your dog plenty of attention, keep the environment calm, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. We do not have a fenced yard, but we have a large, wooded yard (.6 acres) where dogs can safely enjoy time outside on a lead. We also live right by a regional walking/biking trail, so frequent walks and outdoor time are easy and part of our routine. I am comfortable caring for all dogs, including senior dogs, rescue dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, and dogs who need a little extra patience or reassurance. I have experience giving medications, crate training, leash walking, basic obedience, and helping dogs settle into a new environment. I am active and outdoorsy, so dogs who enjoy walks, playtime, and being part of family life will fit in well here. For everyone’s safety and comfort, visiting dogs must be potty trained, kid-friendly, and non-aggressive. They do not need to be crate trained. We are not currently accepting puppies. Our goal is simple: to give your dog a safe, loving, active place to stay where they get the kind of care we would want for our own dog. My husband and I both work from home on alternating schedules, so caring for dogs are part of our normal daily rhythm. We are available throughout the day for potty breaks, attention, feeding, walks, and check-ins. We live right on a regional trail, which makes daily walks easy, and we also spend time outside in our large yard with dogs safely on a lead. Pet care naturally fits into our family routine — walks, playtime, downtime, and lots of love. Your dog can expect a warm, active family home with plenty of attention, outdoor time, and affection. Because we only board one guest dog at a time, your dog will get personalized care, a calm environment, and lots of time with our friendly Golden Retriever, Loki. We want dogs to feel comfortable, safe, and included while you are away. We have a large yard, but it is not fenced, so visiting dogs are always kept safe on a lead when outside. Our home includes two dog-loving boys and our friendly Golden, so visiting dogs should be kid-friendly, potty trained, and comfortable around another dog. We can crate your dog if that is part of their normal routine, but crate training is not required. We are happy to follow your dog’s feeding, medication, walking, and sleep routines as closely as possible to help them feel secure.
“Our dog always leaves happy from her stays with Jeremiah and his family which gives us great peace of mind. He has been so flexible and has had great communication with us on the many days we’ve had our Husky stay for doggy day-care. I highly recommend Jeremiah!”

About: Our family simply adores dogs. I personally have owned a dog for the majority of my life and have raised two puppies. My kids (14 and 12 y.o.) love dogs and dogs love them too. We have a very spacious fenced yard and my kids love playing with dogs and keeping them active in our backyard. We also take dogs for nightly walks. Our 7-year old (29 lbs) cockapoo Lily does great with dogs of her size or smaller, also with dogs that have moderate energy. She does not seem to feel comfortable with high energy dogs and also with dogs that are significantly bigger than her (hence we don't host dogs over 40 lbs). We don't crate (unless your pooch prefers it) and our guest dogs will sleep with us in bed (if they want). Your furry child will feel right at home with us as we will shower him/her with love and LOTS of cuddles and will treat him/her as part of our family 🐾❤️ I work mostly from home so I'm usually available to spend time with your dog giving them the love and attention they need. We currently have a dog of our own ( 7 y.o. cockapoo) who we care for daily. She is a very friendly dog. We have a fenced back yard and one dog of our own to keep your dog company. We also walk our dog on daily basis to give her extra exercise. My 14 and 12-year old kids love playing with the dogs.
About: Howdy howdy! I currently work 36 hours per week within the disabled community. I help folks with disabilities get out into the community and discover their passions! My job is my favorite thing, and coming home to a sweet pet and - quite frankly, a bed nicer than mine, is always going to be welcomed! I spend most of my off hours training my current rescue dog and loving on my senior dog. I am a tv show connoisseur as well! I provide stability and consistency. I also do provide cuddling services if so requested by your pet. Thanks for reading and reach out with any questions! ** in case you are wondering the story behind photo 7, sweet Bianca gets really scared of fireworks and thunder, she has a favorite spot in the bathroom and I didn’t want her to be alone! So I camped in the bathroom with her and brought in the trusty ol kindle. :) I work full time within the community to help disabled communities. I work Monday-Friday typically between 32-40 hours weekly outside of the home. I love coming home to a new face & sticking to a dog’s regular routine. Willing to wake up early for a good walk and some quality time on the couch when dinner comes! When taking care of a clients pet, I try not to stray from their routine and lots of loving. I am extremely patient and will give any dog the time they need to warm up to me - I’m a stranger! By the end of my stay, your dog will miss me when I go out the door - guaranteed by all paws I’ve dogsat for already!

“Lindy has been so great with Perla and her owners who are new to dog ownership!! Perla is a rescue dog who is very shy and Lindy takes great care of her. We recommend Lindy big time!”

About: Hi! I’m Steph — a full-time pet caregiver through Rover and the heart behind a growing pet photography business. Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve been pet sitting since I was 13 and have experience with all kinds of animals, from high-energy pups to quiet companions. I share my life with my dog Scooby, who’s a big lovebug and gets along great with both people and other animals, and two leopard geckos, Helios and Haku, who each have their own little quirks and charm. Over the years, I’ve worked closely with dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I also have hands-on experience with pet nutrition and wellness—I've worked with a variety of healthy foods, natural supplements, and holistic care routines. I’m great at picking up on subtle signs when something’s off and take pet health seriously. Whether we’re playing fetch, going for a walk, or just snuggling on the couch, I’m all about creating a calm, loving environment where your pet feels safe and cared for. I tailor my care to each animal’s unique personality and needs, and I always follow your instructions to a T—because your peace of mind matters just as much as your pet’s happiness. My goal is simple: to make sure your pet feels loved, understood, and completely at ease while you’re away. I am very flexible with my schedule so please feel free to send me a request or a direct message to sent up an appointment! I have worked with certified fear free trainers as well as being a groomer for 3 years now I am very aware of animal body language and how to meet their needs so they feel safe in their environment. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, active playtime, or simply having company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’ve also cared for small pets in the past and have always enjoyed spending time with animals. My goal is to provide dependable care and give pet owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in good hands. I’m currently a college student and work part-time during the summer, which gives me flexibility to provide pet care throughout the week. My work schedule varies from week to week, but because I work part-time, I have plenty of availability for drop-in visits, walks, and quality time with your pets. I typically know my schedule in advance and do my best to accommodate pet care requests whenever possible. I’m also usually available on weekends and enjoy spending time outdoors with dogs, whether that’s going for walks, playing, or simply keeping them company. I’ve always been an animal lover….I’m usually the one in the corner spending more time with the pets than the people at family gatherings! In fact, I even made a PowerPoint presentation to convince my family to get our goldendoodle, Moxie. My priority is making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine and needs, follow instructions carefully, and provide consistent, reliable care. Whether I’m stopping by for a visit or taking your dog on a walk, I’ll treat them like my own, with patience, attention, playtime, and affection. About: I've lived on a homestead taking care of farm animals including dogs, cats, goats, horses, chickens, and much more! My parents bred and trained AKC Labradors and Beagles for wild game hunting. I became a farm hand for a local barn in New Hampshire at the age of 14. Once I was 16 I started overnight caretaking for horses, dogs, and cats. I have experience training puppies and rescue dogs with my parents. I also own amphibians and non conventional pets so I'm familiar with exotic caretaking. I'm currently dog sitting/walking/feedings fulltime. I'll have plenty of time during the day to play with your pets and take them outside for potty breaks. I live in apartment that does not allow cats or dogs so any pet sitting will have to be done at your home. I have my own private insurance alongside Rover Garantee. I will need a full tour of your yard if it's fenced, to make sure there aren't any means of escaping. A full detailed care sheet that includes the pet's schedule, behavioral concerns (a must), vitamins or medications schedule, prefered place to walk or run (typical place you go to help understand your pet's public behavior and help form trust with them. I will always learn your pet's behavior in a controlled and comfortable environment first. Then if you approve, we can eventually go on hikes. The more detail I have about your pet, the better their transition will be in my care. Trust and Safety is my top priority when caring for a family member that can't speak.
About: My husband and I grew up with dogs our whole lives and we owned a small dog for 15 years. We are often one our neighbors and relatives call when they need a pet sitter. We are excited to meet new dogs and families and offer pet care. Our home is warm and welcoming and we like to give pets a lot of attention. We feel they are a part of our family when they are with us. You will receive pictures and regular updates while your dog is with us, so you can be reassured your pets are having a wonderful vacation too. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry family members! My husband works from home. I work from home at times and we have two older kids who are often home to help too. We are never away for more than 4 hours at a time. We follow the owner’s preferences. We will use leashes, harnesses, etc. when on walks. We will administer medications as needed. Dogs can sleep in our beds.

“Sarah was amazing! She was responsible, kind and communicative. We got pictures and detailed notes after every walk. She was also so great to help us out last minute. Thanks Sarah! Appreciated everything you did for Wrigley and our family this week.”

About: I’ve been taking care of different animals for some years. I have always been a reliable call to come and check up on cats, or take care of pups while owners were away. Being sure to give them lots of love and give them the opportunity to use their energy. It is important to me that pets still have their routine and comfortability as they did before. So keeping up with their usual schedule is a way for them to still feel at home, or safe while their owners are away. I’m available week days after 5 and weekends after 1 pm. I am around and have a flexible schedule to work around if need be! I’m happy to take the time caring for your pets! I’ve visited homes to take care of pets and always made sure to only focus on their fur baby. Coming over to give attention to the dog or cat. Being sure to welcome with a friendly face and smile and if challenges arise, I am patient and willing to work with your pet until their feel comfortable enough to comply.

I enjoy being outdoors year-round and have open availability to care for your pet. I’d love to explore local parks and trails with your dogs! I’m currently our home’s manager and am home all day. My child is in daycare so I have open availability to love on your pets. I will use any leash/ harness requested to walk your dog, and I will pick up after them. I’m happy to provide potty breaks and playtime with your pets as well.
