“We had Rui booked for August 17-26 for a long time. As we’re packing for our trip, word comes that a hurricane is coming on the 20th! Rui took great care with our dog (as usual) but the care and effort he put into “battening down the hatches” was above and beyond. I can’t say enough about how he made sure our dog and house weathered the storm. This was the longest we had been away from our dog, who usually experiences some anxiety when we are away. But it was clear from the images Rui sent and, more importantly, our dog’s happy, carefree demeanor when we got home that he had a great, anxiety-free time with Rui. We are so grateful to have found Rui!”

And sometimes she did! Later, as a teenager, she worked for a couple who trained dogs and and had a kennel in their home; there she learned a lot about training them. From that job, she extrapolated their methods into her own kinder, firm handed, Alfa Mom methods. She is an incredibly patient, loving person who currently has two cats and a dog of her own.”

We started out with them being a little watchdog and it caused some problems because they didn’t know Katie at first, but she hung in there and as soon as they got to know her everything was fine, she did a great job taking care of them. I would recommend her to anyone else for pet sitting.”

“This was the first time we were leaving our 2 French Bulldogs in someone’s care. Kat did everything to make us feel comfortable and secure with our decision. From supplying references to meeting with us twice prior to watching them to make sure our needs and expectations were going to be met. She ran our energetic one, and gently walked our slug. At night she snuggled and they all watched TV. We were able to enjoy our time away with peace of mind. She’s very caring and truly loved what she does. Will definitely use her again and highly recommend her.”
