“Erica was a great help when we went out of town recently. She was easy to coordinate with, and kept us updated on how our dogs and cat were doing while we were away. We have 2 anxious rescue pups, and as soon as Erica met them it was clear she would be comfortable and capable taking care of them, by both enforcing routines and giving them lots of attention. We came home to a clean house and 3 very happy animals! The dogs were pretty calm when we got home which was a great sign that they had plenty of exercise during the day to help with their anxiety. About: Had had all sorts of critters since I was growing up, now I got two big doggos myself that I get to work everyday hands on with. Each day is a surprise, teaches me a lot owing the dogs I do. They are reactive and have their special requirements so I’m fully aware of how to handle dogs that need a special touch. I’m at their pace. Handful of experiences with fostering, mainly puppies so far! So I know ENOUGH to know about how difficult watching and caring for a puppy is. I got more than just dogs, I got a couple cats and have always had cats around since I was a kid so I know how to care for them just as much. I know how to care for birds and other little critters like rats due to owning a few myself! I’m the full package for any animal lover out there who needs an extra helping hand! I currently work for my sister from M-F from around 8-6-6:30pm. My time is flexible and I can usually move things around if needed. You just need to communicate clearly what you are needing so I can make sure it’s the best fit for you and myself. I’m usually too busy around the times 12-3 to break away but if it’s needed we can work something out. Again I’m huge on communication to make things work and run smoothly for everyone involved. The home i live in is very structured so that everyone has a chance to succeed. They get a mixture of discipline and praise, balance is key when it comes to dogs. They need stability and a confident leader, I work to give them that everyday so we both are succeeding. I work with them and they work with me. The dogs are always walked on a leash right by my side,never do I allow them to say hi to other dogs while out n about. If it’s my clients dog or cat I’d make sure to keep the structure the client originally placed unless asked to do differently. I like to help people expand their knowledge but not when it’s not wanted so if I’m not asked to help with training or improving a previous trick or skill placed by client then you don’t gotta worry, I’m not gonna be a “know it all” type of person haha.
