I currently work full time in healthcare but desire to provide pet care services in my free time. I am an animal lover and enjoy spending time with all types of animals. About: Back in high school I would pet sit for any of my neighbors or friends that needed their pets looked after while they were away -- ranging from dogs to cats to bunnies and sometimes fish. When I was younger, my mom was a pet sitter and would bring me along to help care for and look after the animals and I loved every minute of it. She’d walk me through the tasks the client required and made sure everything was taken care of before leaving. As well as this, I’ve always had a dog or cat growing up and currently have a dog and 2 cats at home that I absolutely love and care for. Recently I have watched some of my friends pets while they were away on vacation as well. I am currently only available Saturdays and Sundays, but I can’t wait to spend that time with and care for your fur babies if you need! For pet safety in my client’s homes I take the necessary precautions outlined as they see fit for their pet(s) whether the pet has a tendency to knock things down or gets into things they aren’t supposed to as well as follow any other house rules while I'm there that have been discussed with the clients.
“We were lucky to find a caretaker like Terry for our senior while we were away. She clearly has a love for animals and our cats got along with her. She gave oral med to one of our cats daily. Her daily pictures were great to see as we knew they were being well taken care of. She even offered to help out if we got delayed coming home or if we needed any additional visits which gave us an added peace of mind while we were away.
