She was very focused on our preferences (e.g., number of walks, time spent outside, treats, etc.) and super communicative throughout the period, which made it very easy to feel comfortable with her looking after our pups, who (despite generally warming to other people very slowly) clearly took to liking her in the five days she was dogsitting for them. Hopefully we can have her look after our pups again in the future.”

“It feels like a catch 22 to share how amazing Heather is because selfishly I don’t want her to be booked so much that she won’t be there for us!! She stayed at our house, hung out with our pups as her own, followed their routines as requested, sent photos, communicated fun stories and a few minor issues that arose, every day I felt confident they were loved and well cared for & were having fun! We will most certainly be booking Heather for our future travel needs! * also she left the house as clean as she found it. Washed the sheets, washed her towels, took out her trash, even the dishwasher had been emptied. Super awesome to come home to happy pups & a clean house!!”

“Alexandra is responsible, reliable, compassionate, and playful. Animals LOVE her, and vice versa. She has been amazing with our small rescue mutt (even bathing him when we were away :)!) Alexandra loves to walk Louie and he gets so excited to see her. In the past, she has stayed with our dog and two cats and she follows directions really well (our one cat needs meds once a day). She kept our home in nice order and was also very communicative throughout the process. If Alexandra is available, she is always my first choice to care for our pets.”

About: My goldendoodle, Harper (12 lbs), has been with me for five years and I love her to pieces. She gets along with most dogs, but prefers to chill on the couch rather than play roughly most of the time. She doesn't love puppies who want to be in her face/butt constantly but as long as they can listen to her, she's happy to hang with them. I'm happy to host dogs for boarding or do drop-in visits or walks at your home. I work for myself (about 10 hours per week) & my schedule is very flexible. I will have lots of time to give your pup the attention they deserve! I always like to do a meet-and-greet with Harper in a neutral space prior to hosting in my home. It's important to me that your pet feels comfortable and has a space that feels like "theirs" - if you can bring their bed, or something that feels like home for them, that is very helpful.

“We've used Megan a few times and she's been great every time. Our dog had back surgery last year and had a flare-up of his condition while we were out of town. Megan was incredibly communicative and took great care of Mowgli while we were gone, including offering to take him to the emergency vet as needed. She's great with our cat, Hector, as well, and we are so grateful to have such a wonderful, reliable dog sitter here in Tahoe!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs for 3 years and have a dog of my own! I have volunteered at many animal shelters as well as helped vaccinating animals in reservations. I love all animals and have been the person to call for all pet care for all of my family and friends. I am currently a high school coach and just graduated college so I have most of the day free. I am able to walk, feed, care, bathe and pet sit all week. I am able to take care of all animals and willing to stay at the owners house if needed. I am able to give necessary care to all animals no matter the age, size or animal.

About: I’ve taken care of family and friends pets for all of my life. I enjoy on taking long walks/runs on the ditch tail with furry companions. I love all pet breeds.
