He always goes into "guard dog" mode when new people come over, and when Cate arrived, she knew to ignore that behavior so he would calm down. She listened carefully to our instructions on feeding, walking, and where/how to confine him when he was alone in the house. She walked him two times while she was there (in the evening and in the morning) to make sure he got the exercise he needed. Memphis liked her a lot, and so did we! I'll definitely contact Cate the next time we need a dog sitter.”

About: Hello my name is Chelsea and I love animals. Growing up I lived on a hobby farm with cats, dogs, horses, goats, fish and chickens to now when I have reptiles, two dogs and a cat. My dream job would be to work with animals every day and build a trust between owner and sitter because I know the feeling when you can trust that your animal baby will be cared for to the fullest extent. I have always cared for animals and have been to a few basic animal emergency classes that I learned a lot from such as cpr on cats, dogs and reptiles to learning basic signs of pain or uncomfortably. I can’t wait to meet more animals and am excited to start. I have always had a routine and the pets were just a part of that. If I leave the house the have each other but I’m never gone for more then an couple hours. I care for them as I would my own, they are apart of the family and I wouldn’t want it any other way. If they need water I would fill the bowl same with food if they needed potty I would take them outside and if they wanted to cuddle and watch a movie on the couch I would allow it.

About: I have helped take care of elderly dogs that have issues with walking, hearing, and seeing, along with dogs that need medications multiple times a day. I do enjoy working with puppies and can run their energy out. I work part time and choose my own schedule. This allows me to be home for your pet to have my entire time and attention. My complex has a fenced in dog run and plenty of walking paths around for leashed walks. Dogs are welcome to sleep on the bed or can be crated.

I hope you consider me to help with your animals! I have experience with older dogs, medication administration and hard of hearing/seeing animals as well. I’m a RN who primarily works from home. I love to have animals around to keep me company while working! My husband and I are mostly homebodies but love to go out for walks in the afternoon with our dog and to the lake! We would love to have your animal join our family for a few days! I have a fenced in yard with supervision provided at all time. Spots where a smaller dog can squeeze through are boarded up (our little dog is an escape artist 😅) to prevent any issues!
