About: I've had cats since I was a child. Neighbors, roommates, friends, and family have relied on me to take care of pets when they are gone. This has included feeding at a specific time in a specific way and at times giving medication. With a former roommate, I also found and rescued a young female cat during law school, and she turned out to be pregnant. We bathed and brushed her several times to get rid of fleas, got her spayed after pregnancy, and rehomed the kittens. I've had my own cat for a few years now, and I understand needing to maintain their routine and monitoring diet to address issues such as regurgitation of food due to poor city water quality or eating too fast or sensitive stomach issues.

About: I have had my own dogs (and cats, chickens, bunnies, etc!) my whole life. I have also been relied on by friends, family, and neighbors for years to care for their fur babies while traveling. My husband and I also foster dogs through various local rescues! I work from home and my partner has a flexible schedule. Usually, we are both home and able to provide 24/7 care for the animals we board! I have a very large fenced yard with two dog pools for hot summer days. Our chickens stay in a separate enclosed area. My home offers multiple rooms and, due to the fact that we often foster, we have several kennels and other “safe space” areas if your fur baby feels safer hanging out or sleeping separately from the rest of the pack. Although, we are a household that encourages pets to curl up on the furniture! We have 3 dogs- a collie/Aussie mix, yellow lab, and husky. All are friendly, up to date on vaccines, and love other dogs! Lastly, we are a cat friendly home but do have separate spaces available if separation from them is best.

I have a 8 month old German Shepard/Lab, Opal, so I am comfortable with puppies and high energy breeds. I also have experience caring for senior animals. I am currently a stay-at-home mom. About: I grew up with Mastiffs, Rottweilers, Labs, Malinois and Cane Corsos. I love small dogs just the same, but giant dogs require a special skill set as they often don’t realize their size and strength. For my day job I run my own private teaching business, where I practice the service and patience that I bring to my pets and pet owners. I make my own schedule as a freelance musician and private teacher so I have lots of flexibility. Generally mornings and mondays and fridays work best.
