“We were so lucky to have Ellen watch our dog, Ziva! She has separation anxiety, and we were nervous about leaving her with someone new in a new environment. Ellen was so reassuring from the start, promising to take good care of her. And she absolutely did. Her sweet dog, Cleopatra, was so friendly and helped Ziva feel comfortable right away. Our first impression was unforgettable- Ziva followed Ellen, which is rare for her with someone she doesn’t know. Ellen took extra care to comfort Ziva when she was anxious and sent us picture updates that really put our minds at ease. Because of Ellen, we were able to enjoy our event without constantly checking our phones. This was such a relief, especially since we’ve had a bad experience with a previous sitter who never sent updates. Ellen went above and beyond, and we could truly feel the difference in Ziva’s comfort. We will definitely be using her services again. Thank you, Ellen, for caring for Ziva like she was your own!”

About: I have over 45 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages as well as many other types of animals that have honored me with living with me over the years (cats, horses, gecko, Madagascar hissing cockroach, parrots, flying squirrel, rabbits). My original dream was to become a vet so I have a background interning with veterinarian, working multiple years in a grooming and boarding facility and had my own very successful animal care and sitting business as a teenager. I have great nail trimming skills as well! Animals are naturally drawn to me and sense my love and respect for them. I work remotely so am pretty flexible with schedules. I also have taken the pet CPR course! I work remotely from home so am flexible in what I can offer. I feed my own pets multiple times a day and am able to monitor what is consumed. I also live in a beautiful community near parks for nice walks. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs who live next door who are always interested in playdates if desired. I work remotely so have flexibility in what I can offer clients. I do have a crate on premises if you do not have although I prefer (as do pets) for them to have their familiar one! There are friendly cats who live with me although I would likely gate off my kitchen / sunroom area where my office is so that I can supervise and ensure harmony with unknown pet if in my home.
