I have in the navy but my schedule is pretty flexible right now I usually get off after one everyday so I have a lot of times to watch your fur babies ! I currently don’t have any pets at the moment due to my military career but I would absolutely give the best care an attention they need .

I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care! I work mornings and am typically off by noon, so I have plenty of availability for pet care in the afternoons and evenings. I occasionally have afternoon appointments, but my schedule is flexible and I’ll always communicate my availability in advance. I’ll always follow your pet’s normal routine and any instructions you provide to make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m attentive, patient, and respectful of your home, and I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of care, attention, and love while you’re away.

Whether it's a lazy stroll for your pup, ensuring your cat's needs, or tending to your aquatic or reptilian companions, rest assured that they're in loving and capable hands! I’m currently unemployed so I have all the time in the world to take care of your furbabies, I’m just a call away if there is an immediate need! I’m available at just about all times! I care for pets in my clients home and fur-babies as I do my own, if there is a fenced in yard I always double check that gates are locked. “Briar did an excellent job bonding with my shy spaniel Lita, and what’s more, she managed to help Lita feel safe and entertained with outings and car rides. I’ll certainly rely on her services the next time I have to go out of town.”

About: I offer pet sitting, dog walking, baths, to give your pets the love, care, and attention they deserve. I have dogs of my own who are treated like royalty, so I understand that our pets aren’t just animals — they’re family! I have 7 years of pet-sitting experience and have also completed an internship at a veterinary hospital. Your pets’ comfort, happiness, and well-being are always my priority. During each visit, I typically spend at least 30 minutes with your pets, with multiple visits available as needed. I’ll make sure they’re fed, get plenty of playtime, enjoy walks if requested, and receive lots of love, attention, and companionship while you’re away. I’d love to meet you and your furry friends to see how I can help make your time away a little easier and give you peace of mind! 🐾❤️ During week days I do walks / feeding in the morning , have a potty break 12-1 and then come back 5-6 for a walk & dinner & another let out around 9ish. Typically it’s how the owners have their yards set up but I do multiple walks a day with the pups and lots of play time!

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and genuinely love caring for them. To me, every dog deserves patience, kindness, and plenty of attention. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with good company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine, so I’ll follow your care instructions carefully—from feeding schedules and medications to favorite toys and walking habits. My goal is to treat your dog like a member of my own family, giving you peace of mind knowing they’re in caring, reliable hands. Please note, we board on family at a time, we do not cage the dogs. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I work from home, and my wife is home full-time. This means your pet will receive plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day rather than being left alone for long periods. We have a clean, safe, and pet-friendly home where dogs can feel comfortable and relaxed. Whether it’s regular walks, playtime, feeding, or simply providing affection and companionship, we’re committed to making every pet feel like part of the family while they’re in our care. I care for every pet as if they were my own. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, medications, and any special needs or preferences. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and regular potty breaks while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible. In my home, pets stay in a clean, safe, and comfortable environment where they are supervised throughout the day. Since I work from home and my wife is home full-time, your pet will have lots of companionship and won’t be left alone for extended periods. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s home. I provide reliable, attentive care, keep the space tidy, and send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: My name is Alannah and I am 20 years old. I love animals, I have experience pet sitting, I worked in a kennel and have helped deliver several litters of labs, I have had animals in my household since I was born, and I would love to help you keep your pets happy and cared for whenever you might need the extra help. I am in the military but work a shortened schedule, and I cannot have an animal of my own since I could go on deployments last minute. I love animals, dogs the most, and I would love so much to come take care of any pets and just lend some help. I currently work part time hours so I have plenty of time to care for animals. My average hours are 8-12 am. I have volunteered at some shelters to care for some cats and dogs, and I am actually considering fostering. I just love pets but am not in a stable enough environment to keep one with being in the military and I could have to leave for months on end with no notice. I am very respectful, will follow any and all restrictions / directions, and I have great decision making. I will know what to do to keep your pet safe and happy. Any sort of extra care I have no issue providing I am very attentive and very respectful of not only your wishes but also your space if you invite me to your home. I am eager and excited to help as needed.
“Elijah was polite and friendly to us and our reactive rescued pocket bully. He was willing and able to handle her complex feeding instructions, walking peccadillos, and anxieties about people and dogs. Farah looked more relaxed with him in photos he sent than she did with her last pet sitter. Elijah also offered to do any light housekeeping chores we needed, wiped down counters before he left, and even did his own laundry and made up the bed again. Highly recommend!”

“I have to admit I was extremely anxious about using Rover.com. In the past, I have always known my dog sitters. And then a dear friend of mine, who is as passionate about her dogs as I am about mine, highly praised the website and uses the service quite frequently. I went on the website and I searched for sitters and narrowed it down to just a few and decided on Antonio from his picutres as it was quite obvious how happy the dogs looked under his care. And he appeared to engage the dogs in varied activities. He was very helpful with his messaging and assistence during the search process. Then with the "meet & greet" with my dogs Campbell and Charlie, I knew I had made the right choice. As he also was the House sitter, upon returning home found our house in perfect order. He was in contact duirng my days away posting pictures and keeping us well informed without being excessive. Always asked questions if he wasn't sure about something. For instance, we have a dog run on the property and he really didn't need to walk the dogs with a lease: just be with them while in the dog run. Then he messengered me and asked if he could take the dogs for a walk and I suggested he walk them separately as I do. He posted photos. Campbell & Charlie both looked happy and that was that. They all needed to get out of the house and spend some time together one on one. It's clear that Antonio really likes what he does and that he truly cares about the well being and happiness of the dogs under his care. He is quite personable and easy going all the while maintaining his professionalism. I will not hesitate to use him the next time I travel and in need of a sitter.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of October 2026, there are 535 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Zanoni. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Zanoni walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Zanoni maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Zanoni choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
