“Marie looked after our cat during two weeks over the holidays. During this period Marie supplied us with video and many photos of our happy and well cared for pet. Thank you for being so dependable and compassionate!”

About: I have always been around different types of dogs and cats growing up. I currently have a one and a half year old puppy named Cooper. He is very friendly towards all animals and loves to play with other dogs. I have also learned to train dogs from a young age and am looking to help other people who need a place for their little pup to stay and play. I am currently working part time due to going back to college for accounting. With me being home 3-4 days a week I spend most of my time giving my puppy attention and taking him on walks around my apartment complex. It wouldn't be any different if there was an additional dog here. I currently have an extra bedroom that is Cooper's but I can give that room to the dog that I will be watching over if the owner is comfortable with that. We have a lot of space in that room for a crate and toys.

“Cheryl has been dog sitting for us for the last 5 weeks and we have been extremely pleased with her services and care for our puppy and 2 year old dog. She is wonderful with both of our dogs, follows our schedule/command words etc.. is extremely reliable, always on time and has been excellent with us if any changes have come up. We only planned on having someone help with our pup for the first month or so, however we plan to keep her coming for as long as she is able to! Highly recommend her services to other pet families.”

“Monica went above and beyond during our visit. Gave them love and attention. She did extra things for our furbabies. When we did our first meet I knew instantly she was kind and her kids were so sweet with our babies. Thank you again for looking after our babies. The photos made me happy to see our furbabies doing so well under your care. Sending you best wishes”

About: I have had pets, dogs and cats for over 50 years and love them immensely. I would do anything for them to make them comfortable. I am currently taking care of my mother and my pets so I am available anytime to care for other pets. Anything they need I can do. They are most important to make them feel comfortable and happy I take care of their needs, whatever makes them happy and comfortable. They are my one priority. I can adapt to any environment. I Love animals

About: I've had pets my whole life but it wasn't until I adopted a dog of my own that I truly learned what it means to care for one. I now have experience with reactive and fearful dogs, counter conditioning, desensitization, and canine enrichment. I just received notice of an indefinite layoff so I will have all the time in the world to do something I genuinely enjoy. I feed both my dog and foster dog using enrichment tools(snuffle, puzzle, Kong, find it) trim their nails with a Dremel weekly, give them meds daily. They're always so excited for their daily walks, rain or shine. Though our foster boy needs to be bundled up to handle the cold. I believe following a routine is important. Pets will be fed when they're used to, given meds as prescribed by your vet. Light grooming if requested (I may charge for more challenging grooms. Details can be discussed). If your dog is afraid of nail trims, brushing or anything else, we can work together on cooperative care to make necessary care less stressful for them.
“My Toby cat is a bit of a bad boy. Stephanie took great care of him and managed his neurotic tendencies. Lots of pictures and I was greatly reassured that he was cared for while I was away. She's an excellent pet sitter. Highly recommended! Toby agrees.”

“Barbie was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond for us and our pets. Her detailed updates and frequent photos helped put our minds at ease while we were away. It was so comforting knowing our kitties were in such good hands! We will definitely be using Barbie again in the future!”

“Jen was amazing my cats Nabi and Nori were cared for so well. She went above and beyond and I will definitely use her service in the future. Thanks so much Jen!!!”

About: I'm all about creating a comfy, safe, and super fun experience for your pet! I've got a knack for puppy training and giving extra TLC to senior pets, making sure they feel loved and cared for every step of the way. Balancing my summer job with pet care is pretty fun and all about smart planning! I make sure to schedule visits around my work hours, so your pet gets all the attention and care they need. It's all about making sure they're happy and comfy while you're away! When I do drop-in visits, I focus on keeping your pet's routine as normal as possible. That means feeding, fresh water, playtime, walks, and lots of cuddles in their own comfy space. I always make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved!

“Katelynn communicated every step of the way. She sent sweet pics while I was in Florida for the weekend. I fully trusted her to take care of my girls while I was away.”

“Emily's attention to detail, as well as her efficiency, were beyond my expectation. She not only performed tasks as requested, but also helped set up/program an automatic feeder and a fountain that I struggled to figure out. Her communication with me during my vacay kept me up to date on my kitties well-being... and allowed me to enjoy myself knowing my boys were very well cared for. Highly recommend her.”

About: From pitties, to doodles, to mixed breeds, the occasional cat, and even a horse or two, I have been an owner and pet sitter for a decade. As a teacher off duty for the summer, I am looking to turn my attention from kiddos to furry friends. I have experience with seniors, having owned three myself, and am comfortable administering medications. Whatever your pets preference, I am always willing to walk, play, or lounge the day away. My summer schedule is very flexible, particular during week days, and I am happy to work with clients to ensure walks, drop-ins, and sitting are convenient for you and your pet. Having two dogs within my own home, I understand the time and love clients expect from those interacting with their pets, and will be vigilant in my attention to your pets both inside and outside of their home.

About: I've cared for family and friends dogs since I was a teenager, as well as our own dogs. I have experience with diabetic dogs and other medical needs. I work part time and will spend my off time with your pup. I like to meet everyone before sitting so I can get to know their routines and make sure everyone is comfortable! I will care for your pets as you do. I typically visit the home before dogsitting to meet the dog and see what their routine is.

About: My friends have always come to me first for any kind of help with dogs (general advice, training, walking, sitting). I used to be a volunteer dog walker at the Humane Society. I mostly work from home on my own schedule so I’m quite flexible mid-day to come play with your pup! I’m also a very easy going person. In my home: I live on an open acre amongst the vineyards by the lake, so I always have to keep dogs on leash around my yard. However if they’re trained, I am happy to let them off leash to run, play and swim. I have the hose ready and lots of dog towels available. In a client’s home: it’s up to the client but I like to start with a short walk and see if the dog needs more exercise (younger pup), or just needs cuddles (senior dog).

About: I’ve always loved animals. I had two Golden Retrievers and three cats who were a huge part of my life. They’ve all passed over the last few years, and while I’m not ready for new pets of my own just yet, I’d love to care for yours. I have a soft spot for Golden Retrievers and could really use one to love right now — but no matter the breed, I’ll treat your pet like family. Whether it’s a walk, a visit, or just keeping them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe and cared for. I have a full time job Monday- Thursday. I can be available for drop ins on those evenings if needed. Most Thursdays I’m available after 2. I have off Friday- Sunday and am available for several drop ins and walks When your pet is with me I will treat them as my own. I understand that every dog is unique, and I take the time to learn their quirks, preferences, and routines. My goal is to make them feel at home while you’re away, giving you peace of mind and your pet a new friend they can trust.

About: I have been fostering dogs for the past 2 and a half years. Animals are a true passion of mine. I am experienced will all breeds. I have also taken dog training classes. I work most nights. So I am available during the day to check on your pets during the day while you are at work. I understand the feeling it’s great leaving them alone all day. I’m here to help. I care for all pets as they are my own. I love meeting new dogs cats and other animals as well. Pets are truly family members

“Laura was incredible! During our meet-and-greet, she almost blew right by me (in the nicest way) in favor of meeting our Sadie. It is clear how much she loves dogs and Sadie (who is very skidding) warmed up to her easily. Laura communicated frequently to share photos and anecdotes while we were away. It was such a relief knowing Sadie felt safe and comfortable. I would give Laura 6 stars if I could! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: I have had dogs from a very young age, and helped raise 2 of my own dogs from a few weeks old. I love dogs and I love to care for them. I also worked at a dog groomer for two years so I’m comfortable in most situations with new animals. I am currently working part time, and am more than willing to adapt to your schedule, as I have an extra vehicle and more spare time than I know what to do with this summer. I treat all animals with love and care. Dogs are my favourite animal, and I like to think it shows. Every dog is unique, and requires their own specific kind of care and finding that out is one of my favourite parts about my job.

From my early days, I've embraced the responsibility of nurturing dogs, creating a bond based on trust, care, and companionship. Our House is made specifically with dogs in mind with playground and areas specifically for dogs to enjoy their time and interact with each other. We have created a playground specifically for dog friend on our main floor and basement space. I have ample time in my daily schedule for frequent potty breaks, play sessions, and training exercises. My flexible hours mean I can provide the extra care and attention that puppies require during their crucial growth stages. Ensuring their happiness and development is a top priority for me. Puppies hold a special place in my heart, and I've structured my routine to accommodate their boundless energy and needs. When caring for pets, I prioritize their comfort and well-being whether they're in my home. In my own home, I've designated a cozy and pet-friendly area where they can feel safe and relaxed. I ensure they have access to fresh water, a comfortable bed, and plenty of interactive toys. My goal is to create a seamless transition for pets, making sure they receive the same love and attention they're accustomed to. Located at Niagara-on-the-lake my home has a backyard and a lovely route to walk the dog around.

They are a loving and caring soul, and will go above and beyond when making sure that these fluffy companions are well looked after. They are attentive to their daily needs--from good food schedules to walks and exercise--but they are also not ignorant of any special needs as well. If something seems awry, Remy will notice and address it. Grooming? You betcha. Medical needs? It'll be taken care of or delegated to someone with the appropriate expertise. Socialization? Couldn't have anyone more patient for it. If you've got pets, Remy'll be able to help.”

15. Antonia M.
“Ever since I met Antonia in 2015 I could see her passion towards her own Golden Retriver Jasper (may he RIP. Nov, 2011-Feb, 2023) as well as other dogs like my dad’s lab Brewster, and the dogs at the dog park and in her neighbourhood. It’s quite clear when you meet Antonia that she loves walking dogs and being around all animals. If you look around her book library at home you’ll see she has many dog encyclopedias and has memorized the Dog Whisperer books. Her friends (the ones with and without dogs) all call her the dog whisperer because she’s incredible with dogs….. and dogs love her too! On a personal level she’s very caring, kind, and compassionate, and also very punctual, professional and responsible. I would highly recommend Antonia for any dog or cat related services!”
