About: I have had pet dogs and cats my whole life, and they have always been a cherished part of my family. I currently live in a non-pet-friendly apartment building, so Rover gives me the opportunity to care for pets while I can’t have one of my own. I work at a warehouse on second shift, so I am gone in the evenings and head back home around 1am. When housesitting, I’m able to provide care to your pets during the day until I leave for work at 6. I will do my best to adhere to your normal routine with your pets, and ensure that they are exercised, fed, and pottied before I leave for work. It is my goal to adhere to your pets’ normal routine as much as possible. When I am watching someone’s pets for the first time, I request details about their schedule, eating and play habits, special quirks, etc so that I am prepared to give them consistent and attentive care.

About: I love interacting with pets and getting to know their personalities! I'm getting over the loss of my dog, and taking care of your fur baby will give me the love I'm missing from mine. I'm currently working in management full-time, I have flexibility to take half days and can be available M-F 3pm-8pm. I'm free almost every weekend 5am-7pm or overnight boarding in my home. I have a zip line to tether to if needed, my yard is not fenced in. I live in a quiet neighborhood with very little traffic; it's a dead end street. I'm happy to crate your pet if needed. I am willing to explore local dog parks if permitted. I also enjoy longer walks if your pup is up for it! I can let your pet out for potty breaks several times a day and provide play time, too. I'm happy to follow any specific training protocols you are working through for consistency!

About: Hi there! I'm Anna, lover of all pets, young and old, big and small. Interacting with and caring for animals of all kinds has and forever will be a huge passion of mine. I've been pet sitting since I was a kid, volunteered at the Yorkville Animal Hospital, and was a dog walker for Mid-day Play in Sandwich as a summer job after I graduated. About: I have two dogs myself, and thought it would be a cool summer job. I like long walks in nature and I have plenty of experience throwing frisbees! I work during the school year as a special education paraprofessional and I love my job! So during the summer I thought this would be the perfect job. I love playing with my dogs and spending plenty of time outdoors, we have an electric fence which has a beep setting. My neighborhood also has plenty of paths for walking!

About: My name is Traci and I spent 22 years serving my country. I am now retired and spend all my time with my fur kids. I have been a volunteer with a local Lab Rescue in Denver, where I did adoptions, transports and I fostered dogs of all ages in my own home. I also have a small zoo of my own...(dogs, cats, fish) My family calls me the dog whisperer. I have always had a connection with animals and would love to continue giving back. I will come to your home and take care of your kids and house as if you were there. As a foster, I was responsible for training the dogs that were in my care before they go to their forever home. Recently, I have been training my own Lab as a Service Dog, that will be used for veterans that experience anxiety/panic attacks and even PTSD. Why I love dog sitting: I have been a dog lover my entire life. My parents got me a dog when I was 6 months old and his name was Pepper. I have always had dogs with me. I started volunteering with a local lab rescue because I felt like I could always do more for the animals. Fostering dogs in my own home, training them, showing them love them (some of them have never had that) and then I help get them adopted out to a family who will love them just the same. It was a rewarding hobby. Meet my pets: 3 cats 4 Dogs My experience administering medication: I am very comfortable with medications and administering them. I was a combat medic in the Navy, and I am currently a Wilderness EMT with over 20 years in the medical field. I am trained and certified in K-9 First Aid and CPR. Most recently I worked at a dog rescue in Puerto Penasco, Mexico (Barb's Dog Rescue). Working at a dog rescue, you see the worst cases of abuse and neglect. I was trained how to administer medications, IV's, Sub-Q fluids and give LOTS of love. Your fur kids are in good hands.

About: I have owned my silky terrier, Monster for over 17 years. I professionally bathed and groomed dogs for a year. In doing so, I got to meet all kinds of breeds and personalities and really feel comfortable with different dogs and their needs. My family and I rescued our second boy, Schatzi, a 10-year-old dachshund in August 2023. We love all of the furry babies! Hello! I am available for walks and drop-ins Saturday and Sundays. I hope to add more days to my availability in the future. Some weekends are unavailable. We use positive reinforcement, give treats when earned, care for pets and their needs, water and food, toys, no punishment, caging if required or requested.

About: I have had dogs all my life. I’ve watched family and friends pets since I was a kid and have always wanted a house full of dogs! I currently have 2 dogs. A senior and a puppy so I have experience with all ages and breeds. I’m not working and currently walk my puppy 2-3 times per day. My pup loves other dogs and would love some company on walks and play! I walk my senior dog once a day and my puppy 2-3 times per day depending on the weather. I’m always looking for new games and activities to do with them and have lots of time to do so!

About: I have worked as a vet tech for 20 years with just as many years of pet sitting under my belt. I am experienced with administering insulin and other medications. I especially love caring for elderly pets that need that extra TLC but also love frequent walks with young or old. I now work very few hours at an animal hospital so that I can stay at home with my children. I'm available during the week and weekends too. We at the moment don't have a fence but plan on getting one next spring. As a result I go on walks with dogs staying at my home or put them on a tie out for 100% supervised play. They do not get left outside alone.

About: Hi! My name is Molly and I have had dogs all my life :) I currently own a 100 lb golden doodle and walk every day with him! I love being outside, and love walking! I can handle small dogs, medium dogs, and large dogs (I have a very large dog myself). Does your dog have a lot of energy? I'd love to help burn off some of it! Dogs your dog struggle with pulling? No worries! I'll work with he/she while we walk. I am a full time photographer and videographer and work from home during the weekdays. I can do drop in visits to give your sweet pooch a potty break, and/or go on a walk/run to help your dog get some exercise! I know how important you dog is, and will treat him/her like my own!

About: I have personally taken care of guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, fish, and many dogs. My friends have trusted me to house sit for them multiple times so I am responsible and easily able to take care of multiple pets and the same time. One of my friends has had turtles, hedgehogs, and fish so I also have some aquatic experience as well. I take care of my rabbit every day by giving him more food, water, and hay. I also let him out of his cage almost every day so he can get exercise and I can watch him the whole time. When I am with my dogs I take them on walks, feed them, give them water, and clean up after their messes. I am always making sure that my pets are not getting into anything that they are not getting into and I have built up my trust with them that they will all come when I call them, at least for the most part. At a client's house, I will keep track of the pets and make sure that they are being safe, have enough water, getting fed regularly, and let outside whenever they need to go out along with walks when it is nice out.
