“Our normal cat sitter had a family emergency and canceled our reservations. Meaghan was willing to help us on short notice. She did a fantastic job. We received daily updates and pictures. We had added a bunch of extra chores for her, one of the cats needing medication as such. She even kept up with vacuuming up the tiny bits of food that can tend to be thrown around when the cats eat. We came home to relaxed kitties and a clean house. We intended to contact her first if we ever have the need. Highly recommend!”

About: I have personally taken care of guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, fish, and many dogs. My friends have trusted me to house sit for them multiple times so I am responsible and easily able to take care of multiple pets and the same time. One of my friends has had turtles, hedgehogs, and fish so I also have some aquatic experience as well. I take care of my rabbit every day by giving him more food, water, and hay. I also let him out of his cage almost every day so he can get exercise and I can watch him the whole time. When I am with my dogs I take them on walks, feed them, give them water, and clean up after their messes. I am always making sure that my pets are not getting into anything that they are not getting into and I have built up my trust with them that they will all come when I call them, at least for the most part. At a client's house, I will keep track of the pets and make sure that they are being safe, have enough water, getting fed regularly, and let outside whenever they need to go out along with walks when it is nice out.

She had a raincoat, then a winter coat, on her when the weather got colder for her trips outdoors. She furnished these coats, I didn't bring any. A 3-page report card was given to me when I picked Katie up. It detailed her potty breaks and told cute little stories about their day together. I received numerous pics and videos that I thoroughly enjoyed. I met Terrell when I was leaving, and he seemed just as wonderful. I would give her 100 stars if I could.”

About: I've been studying dog behavior for over 9 years. I also have experience as a veterinary receptionist and grooming assistant. I train pet dogs on good behavior as well as rehabilitation for fearful or aggressive dogs. Safety is my #1 concern. Every dog that comes into my home is treated like family, as I do my own dogs. I am blessed with a large house that has a separate living quarters for the boarding dogs and a big beautiful fenced yard. Both are kept clean and hazard free. I would love to host your dog and make sure you are worry free while you're away! I work with dogs as a career and am home full time. I have a daily routine that changes depending on what dogs I have. Each dog gets fed once or twice, a day depending on owner preference. For medical or dietary reasons feeding can me more or less frequent. Any medications needed will be given. Each dog gets back yard exercise daily. Of course they get plenty of love! 🐾 Saftey and cleanliness are my top concerns. My home is clean and hazard free. I am "puppy proof" and always vigilant. I have accommodations and experience working with aggressive or reactive dogs and can also accommodate/work with kennel anxitey. I am able to keep dogs separate from my personal dogs if needed. Dogs that are friendly will be able to socialize/play with my very well tempered pack, depending on owner preference. I have a fenced yard and there are no gaps or ways to get out. I can also accommodate jumpers using a long recall leash!

About: I have been around animals my whole life. Growing up, we mainly had cats and dogs, but in recent years we have expanded to fish, birds, and frogs! At the moment, my family has 2 cats, 2 parakeets, and about a million fish. I started pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors as a kid, and now I try to pet sit whenever I am home from college. I am also the primary care taker of my little home zoo. About: Hi there, my name is Sami! I've lived with dogs my whole life, big and small - some of which include a Golden Retriever, a Yorkie, and a Maltese. My sister occasionally comes over with her Goldendoodle, and I love spending time with my aunt's Bernese Mountain Dogs when I can visit them. I plan to adopt my own dog later in the future, and perhaps enroll them as a therapy dog to bring comfort to others. I've watched both my sister's and parents' dogs while they are away for the day, and I have some experience in caring for them when they were puppies. I used to walk my parents' dogs in the past, as well. I enjoy interacting with dogs as a whole, and I put their safety and comfort first. I'm an introvert who lives a quiet lifestyle, but I also love to have fun, so if your furry friend needs someone to hang out with while you're away, I'll be there for them! I can still feed or play with them via a cat teaser or laser pointer, but I cannot pet them or pick them up. :( Currently, I am working full-time at an elementary school in Minooka. However, school is out for the summer until August, so I will be manually updating my Rover schedule to provide some availability Monday through Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays, I am available during afternoons and evenings, though prior arrangements in advance can be made for a morning walk or drop-in visit! I have experience with all ages and sizes of dogs. I currently have a diabetic dog that I give special care to - Homemade food- insulin - CGM to monitor her blood sugar. I work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule, so I would be home taking care of your pets needs throughout the day, evening and night. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs for your dog to play with. We have plenty of people in the house to give lots of love, affection and playtime daily. Your pup will be treated like one of our own while they stay with us.
About: I've spent the last 10 years around puppies and big high energy dogs. I've handled pretty much everything a dog can possibly throw at me. Whatever quirks your dog has, I'm ready for it!! I'm completely available! I've got a pup of my own to take care of, so I understand that dogs usually stay on a tight schedule, and sometimes their schedule doesn't line up with yours. I'll do my best to be there when you need me! 👍 I'm unable to petsit at my own home, but I'm great at keeping things clean and respecting any boundaries clients may want to set with their home and/or pet!
About: My family has been part of Rover for 10 years and have gained a network of regular animals. I have taken care of many types and breeds of animals including my own family pets. I've had 3 dogs, 3 cats, a chinchilla, a guinea pig, and fish so I can handle most animals. Overall, I am pretty open on weekdays after 11:00 am and can do overnight stays as well. I am available all day on weekends as well. I am in an apartment that does not allow pets so I am looking to have time with animals through Rover. I miss my animals back home since I am away at college so I would never put an animal in danger since I know how important a pet can be to someones life.

But if needed in the morning or evening let me know! I’m always willing to negotiate a schedule to whatever is easiest for you! Unfortunately I am in an apartment so I will not be able to pet sit at my home, but whenever your pet needs to go outside I will keep an eye on them (especially if there is no fence)!
