About: I am a young adult with lots of experience with taking care of cats and dogs. I have grown up around them and I love to take care of them. My daily routine includes emptying litter boxes and sweeping litter off floors. I often accompany my dogs outside to make sure they did their business. I also feed each of my pets daily. While I do not have much experience outside my own home taking care of my pets, I know how to do so while making sure my clients and their pets are happy.
“Carrie is the best! She's great with my bulldog, and he is always excited when she arrives. Carrie sends me tons of pics, communicates any issues thoroughly, and seems to really enjoy spending time with my good boy. 100% will book again, and have also recommended her to friends.”

“Samantha has been such a welcome addition to my puppies life. I work long hours and my boyfriend goes out of town frequently so find a flexible and kind dog walker was important to us. Samantha has been so great, she is very flexible and is dedicated to treating our dog well. She also gives a lot of great puppy advice and has been a huge help on getting our puppy to walk better.”

“Tiffany is amazing! She answered our request promptly and communicated before, during, and after walking my Ellie May. She was flexible and so sweet!! We will definitely be using her again ? thanks Tiffany!”

Every pet receives personalized care based on their individual needs, whether that includes administering medication, following specific dietary requirements, or accommodating special care instructions. I also respect each client’s home by keeping it tidy, cleaning up after pets, and ensuring their safety while adhering to the owner's preferences. About: I am a certified, licensed, and insured dog trainer and the owner of Chaos To Clarity K9. I work with dogs and their families on obedience, leash skills, everyday manners, and behavior challenges. Many of the dogs I help are everyday family dogs who need guidance with things like pulling on leash, barking, jumping, reactivity, or learning how to settle in the home. I also enjoy working with puppies and helping owners build strong foundations early through clear communication and consistency. I have a strong interest in behavior modification, especially helping dogs work through fear, stress, and reactivity at a pace that keeps them comfortable and learning. My husband is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and a combat veteran and former military police K9 handler who trained civilian police dogs. Because of his veterinary background, I’m also able to consult with him when behavior questions may have a possible medical component, which can sometimes play a role in behavior. I also understand that dogs live in real families with real challenges. I live with multiple sclerosis and am raising an autistic four-year-old, so I appreciate how important it is for training to be practical, realistic, and supportive of the household environment. My goal is always to help create calmer, safer, and more enjoyable relationships between dogs and the people who love them. One thing that’s very important to me is paying attention to canine body language and stress signals. Dogs communicate constantly through subtle changes in posture, facial expression, and movement, and recognizing those signals early can prevent many behavior problems from escalating. During training, I help owners learn how to recognize what their dog is communicating so they can respond in a way that builds trust, confidence, and better behavior over time. Dog training is part of my regular weekly routine, and I intentionally keep my schedule structured so each client receives focused attention. My current training availability is: • Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM • Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM • Thursday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM • Sunday: Afternoon appointments available by request Closed: Monday and Friday Because each dog and family has unique needs, I limit the number of training sessions I take each week so I can provide thoughtful, individualized guidance and follow-up support between sessions. Safety, trust, and clear communication are always my top priorities when working with dogs and their families. I pay close attention to canine body language and stress signals to make sure dogs remain comfortable and able to learn during training. Training sessions focus on creating a calm, structured environment where both the dog and owner can succeed. I work at the dog’s pace and help owners understand what their dog is communicating so they can respond clearly and confidently. My goal is to create training plans that are safe, practical, and sustainable for everyday life, helping dogs feel more secure while helping owners feel supported throughout the process.

About: I've been around dogs all my life. My grandparents were breeders for Scotties, Cocker Spaniels and Terriers. My personal pets have been Velvet a cooker spaniel, Tobby a shepherd/lab mix, Doobee a shepherd/collie mix and my current cohort is Harley a 50 lb mixed breed rescue from texas. I have completed over 18 months of weekly training with Harley culminating with AKC canine good citizen certificate. What i learned from that experience was the importance and significance of consistency. Additionally that I am trained to be as consistent as possible in providing the type of care that you prefer for your pet. I'm retired so I am usually available anytime and can do same day appointments. I'm usually up before 6am and keep late night hours also so please feel free to contact me anytime. I have a fenced yard and can easily crate your pet if needed. I have one pet friendly dog at home if your pet likes company. I do not have any children living at my home.

We currently have a chocolate lab who is 8 years old and is such a sweetheart. She loves to play fetch in our backyard and go on walks with the family. I plan to treat your dog with the same love and care as my own.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life, especially when it comes to cats. I grew up in a household that always had multiple cats. I just recently moved from my parents house where we had four, including a rescue I brought back from an overseas deployment. I also have experience caring for senior pets, including my childhood pet, a 14 year old Siamese in her final years, where I provided comfort, medication support, and close monitoring. I’ve fostered multiple litters of kittens, including bottle feeding, scheduled care, and neonatal support (including stimulation for bathroom and feeding routines), so I’m very comfortable with young or high needs animals. I also have hands on experience caring for dogs, including a family chocolate lab that I regularly walked, took on beach trips, transported safely in my vehicle, and maintained consistent feeding and exercise routines for. I’m comfortable managing leash behavior, high energy dogs, and ensuring pets get both physical activity and attention. What sets me apart is my genuine compassion and attentiveness. I treat every pet like my own and take the time to understand their personality, needs, and comfort level. Treating any animal I encounter humanely is my calling. It is humans responsibility to care for them. I’m a substitute teacher, so I’m able to plan my days around the pets I’m caring for. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening visits, and I make sure to stay consistent with each pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and cared for. I have no pets or children at home. I have a huge backyard that isn’t completely fenced, but property behind it. No smoking or people coming in/out for any reasons.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Yorick. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route , the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.
The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Yorick after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.
Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
