About: I’ve grown up with dogs for most of my life, and have done some dogsitting and dog walking before. I’ll admit it’s been a bit since I had to focus on school work for my psych degree, but now that I have to wait till fall for grad school, I figured now is the time to help out some furry friends! I’m an animal lover at heart and am not only interested in, but willing to help with any accommodations! Our pets deserve the best after all! :) I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I have plenty of time for any pet care. I tend to be more of a night owl so I can help cats when they’re more active at night. I tend to work best with detailed instructions. About: I’ve been surrounded by pets since I was 6, and I can’t imagine life without them! I grew up with small dogs and now share my home with three wonderful cats, including a sweet senior. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of caring for not just cats and dogs, but also mice, rabbits, snakes, and even a duck with no legs named Peggy. I also have a soft spot for big dogs who think they’re lap dogs (the best kind!). He made sure the plan for Lem was super clear beforehand, which I especially appreciated since the schedule I gave him to complement my friend's visit schedule was not perfectly regular, and he didn't miss a visit! He also had to deal with a terrible cold spell, but when he couldn't walk Lemon for more than 5 minutes at a time (about all she can tolerate when it's that cold), he took her for two short walks to make sure she did all her business and then played ball with her in the house. We came home to a dog who, while happy to see us, was clearly doing just fine without us, which is all I can ask for :)”

About: Ive been around animals for as long as ive been alive . Having helped take care of a wide array of animals since a very young age. About: I have had many dogs in my life time and I enjoy walking, talking to, caring for and spending time with dogs when I can. I miss my pets but I am not ready to get one of my own. However, I would love to help you care for your pet when you are gone. I am a teacher during the school year. I usually can help you out on the weekend or nights during the school year. During the summer I can help more often in a variety of days and times. My fur babies have all past. When I have helped friends and family take care of their pets I make sure to get to know their fur baby before they need me to care for them. About: As a college student studying Zoology, animals and their care are more than a side hustle or a hobby: they’re my world. Apart from my academic coursework in animal care and welfare, I have more than eight years of personal care and volunteer experience with numerous animals, including but not limited to: cats, dogs, horses, rats and mice, hamsters, snakes, various types of lizards and amphibians, goats, chickens, sheep, cattle, and even invertebrates such as tarantulas and scorpions. Rest assured, I’ll never discriminate against your furry pal! I have experience giving oral medication, both liquid and pill, as well as insulin injections and subcutaneous fluids. I also have experience caring for elderly animals — like my 18 year old cat, Maya! I can provide feeding, brushing, hoof care, walking, exercise, medication, play time, turning out, litterbox cleaning and much more! I have a driver’s license and my own transportation, and my hours and pay are flexible. I am willing to drive 60-90 minutes depending on needs. As mentioned prior, I have extensive prior experience volunteering at various shelters, vets and farms assisting with animal care, as well as my own personal experience caring for a diverse array of pets.
