About: In my opinion, dogs are the purest form of love. I've owned a dog for the past 15 years, and I honestly couldn't imagine my life without her. I spend most of my free time in the yard reading while Ruby explores the fenced-in area. We also enjoy being lazy inside. I do not have kids, so I treat my dog like my child. As a teacher, I’m on summer break from June 2 through July 17! When school is in session, my work day ends around 4 and then I'm free after that. I normally take my dog for a walk before work (between 6:30-7:30) and in the evening anytime between 4:30-9:00. I am available throughout the week and on weekends. I love animals, and I love caring for them. I promise to treat your animal like my own. I am currently on summer break and home every day!! I work full time from 7:30-4:30 every weekday. When I get home from work, my evenings are free and open to providing time for pets. I have a small fenced-in backyard. We live in a townhome that is within a quiet and safe neighborhood. There is a park nearby that is great for walking dogs.

About: I have been a pet owner since I was a child! I’ve cared for pets most of my adult life! Fur baby sitting for friends while they are on vacation. Have taken care of puppies and those precious senior dogs! I work part time from home and am a “Mimzy” to 5 beautiful grandchildren that visit often!! About: Our entire family loves to care for animals! I personally have been a responsible pet sitter for over 25 years. While we currently are a pet free home, we have been thankful to have owned and cared for a black lab, yorkie poo (lived until 15), two German Shepards (currently guard dogs in Haiti), rabbits and many goats. While your pet is with me you will receive multiple updates and feel secure in the fact that they are being loved and taken care of just as you would! I would love the privilege to care for your beloved dog while you are away! I am a stay at home homeschool mom and have the ability to care for your animal all day. It is so fun to incorporate dog walks and playtime with your animals in my daily schedule. I can easily crate your fur baby, or they can sleep in a comfy dog bed. We have a large yard, with a small portion fenced. Since we are a homeschool family, we spend a lot of time out doors and I love to take dogs for walks and let them join us outside if that is what your fur baby enjoys. If you need help with drop in services at your own home, I can arrange those services to meet your dogs needs.

We offer big Kennel Space with an elevated Bed - heat; a/c; TV some even decided last Summer to swim in our Pool which we are perfectly ok with :-) Our dogs are all fixed, UTD and on monthly preventative for flea and tick medicine - and always happy to have an additional fur friend join the walks. We had hospice dogs in the past and also quite a few fosters recovering from surgery and ok with giving daily medicine (not including shots)

About: Homeport - Indoor accommodation for your pet with large wooded lot on a private road in Harris County. A large deck to lay in the sunshine on pretty afternoons. Indoors we have an open floor plan that the pets are free to roam in. The pets are free or crated overnight based on your preference. We have a 7 pound Yorkie Poo who gets along with our houseguests, dogs or cats! We should have a meet and greet prior to them checking in at Homeport. We can schedule a meet and greet at my home for you and your pup to meet me and I y’all. I’ll be very flexible on the schedule of that. I walk them twice a day if your babies are accustomed to leash walking and have them out on the deck with other guests for playtime twice a day. You will receive at least one picture of their romping or napping everyday. I charge by the calendar day. The day you pick up (or I pick up) your pet and the day you drop off (or I drop them off) are both days that I have to accommodate you and your pet into my schedule and pet care is provided.I offer the service of taking your pet home the day of your arrival so that they will be there when you arrive home. Please let me know when you make your reservations what times you wish to schedule for pickup/drop-off and give me at least 24 hours notice if you need to make changes. If your dog is not fully house trained or has any accidents during their stay there is a $5 per day charge. All pets must be neutered and spayed.  They must be dog friendly. For your protection, all pets are screened prior to acceptance. If pets are not picked up by closing they will board over night at owners expense. All pets will be checked for fleas and ticks. If any pet comes in with fleas or ticks, a bath might be required. All dogs must be up to date on shots Rabies, Dhlpp & Bordetella Pet care and boarding is my primary occupation. My entire day and night is focused on caring for your family member. We may go for a walk around my neighborhood or they may be in the yard with me while I work in my garden. On days that aren’t nice they will be comfortable napping wherever they are most comfortable. Guests are treated as at home and fed and exercised according to your instructions. Often I feed them white skinless chicken breast if no allergies.

About: Our dogs have always been family and I can't recall any time in my entire life when I haven't had a dog at my side, sometimes two or three. I've had dogs of all sizes and energy levels. The longest boarding was for two months while the pup parent traveled in Asia. I've had dogs on my small ranch in NV and we rode trails together. They moved with me to CO and we enjoyed the mountains and front range together. I drove cross-country many times with my dogs, stayed in hotels and visited friends and family with them. My dogs are always a priority in all we do and I will care for your pups as I do mine. Be assured that I will follow any special instructions you give to provide your pet a safe, happy, stress-free stay. I recently rescued a deaf puppy who was in the middle of the road, and took care of her until a new, loving home was secured. I checked on her later and she is happy with her people and dog family. I am retired and always home. I spend my days gardening, cooking, squirrel and bird-watching, helping at church, and making greeting cards. My two dogs are with me the entire day. We will give your pup lots of company and love. I prefer to sit for one client at a time and max two dogs at a time. I look forward to meeting you and your pups. Your dog will not be put outside for any length of time without my oversight. I am frequently out in the yard, relaxing, weeding, planting and pruning. My two small dogs and I will give your pup lots of company assuring that he or she is acclimated and gets to know us. Our home is comfortable and happy. Does your pup enjoy endless belly rubs? Mine do and I have plenty to share. I prefer to sit for one client and max two dogs at a time. Photos of your pup's day are provided, if requested. I feed my dogs twice a day and give them one treat after their meals. I will feed your dogs at the time of day you prefer. We will only give your pup treats that you provide. I will follow your feeding schedule and administer meds if needed. My early career was 20 years as a hospital clinical laboratory scientist and then as a director. I've medicated my dogs and horses and given shots, so I know all the techniques needed to administer meds for your dog. Be assured, I recognize a dog's body language if in pain, stressed, or sick and will notify you immediately of any serious issues. I will follow your instructions if vet services are needed. My senior dog, Vivvie requires a special diet, so I make homemade dog food, veterinarian approved. No table scraps for her or for dogs in my care.

“Chestnut had a wonderful time with Ms.Melanie and Mr.Chris while I was away for a week. They were very accommodating with the day care schedule, willingly keeping her for extra couple hours in the evening. Ms.Melanie kept us posted throughout the day and sent us lots of pictures of our baby girl. Chestnut seemed to emotionally attached to Mr.Chris, as I saw her nestling in Mr.Chris's arms everyday. They even used Chestnut's Korean name which Chestnut usually responds to, so she feels more comfortable and settles well in the new place. We are grateful for getting to know Ms.Melanie's family and making American connection through Chestnut. They are the family of genuine love towards pets. About: I absolutely love animals and can’t wait to love on your pumpkin like they are my own! I will attend to all details no matter how in-depth they are and make sure your pets and home are content and safe when you return! Our pets are our world and we will soon be volunteering at CHS. I would love to see more fur babies in my day to day life! I have a very flexible work schedule and can take my break at any time. This allows me to help most times of day, provided that daytime care visits aren’t too long in duration. For house sitting, I will not be able to spend the night. However, I will ensure your pets get all the care and time they deserve. I will not be able to care for pets in my own home. Unfortunately we are not optimally set up for this with a member of the household with a dog allergy and lack of a fenced in yard.

About: I have cared for animals my whole life. I've taken care of them when abandoned by the mother, sick, or disabled. I have experience doing basic training. My own pets pile on me the second I sit down. I've never had a pet pass the rainbow bridge before the age of ten. Dont worry, I know you are busy**** Taking care of animals is all I want to do. I am a stay-at-home mom and my youngest is 16. I have plenty of time on my hands and love. I have fully fenced yard in a safe neighborhood. I have a pug of my own who doesn't mind other animals. I usually keep him in the bedroom for the first couple hours. I have two inside/outside cats who are also very friendly to people and animals. If I am sitting cats and dogs together, I will usually keep the two separate. Cats upstairs and dogs downstairs. Don't worry about attention. There is plenty to go around! If I'm caring for your babies at your house, I will follow the rules you provide.
