About: I am a mom of three who enjoys being outdoors. I love spending my time outdoors with my dog. I find satisfaction burning dogs energy and then going home to relax. I am a stay at home mom. My kids are all in school and have the time to devout myself to my pets. I am free most days. I stay active. I go for long walks with my dog. About: I’ve owned both dogs and cats and have cared for several family members’ pets for over 20 years! I’m a huge animal lover and miss having one of my own. I’m a stay-at-home-mom of 3 kids so I have plenty of time to walk and play! My schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available on weekends. I have an unfenced yard and live 20 feet from the Crozet trail system, right next to Claudius Crozet Park. We don’t have any pets of our own but my three kids (ages 4, 5 & 6) are very active and will play all day with your pet. My sister is a vet at Dominion Animal Hospital so I have immediate access to professional help if needed!

From the moment that we arrived to drop off Hattie, Margaret met us with a warm smile and put us right at ease that Hattie will be well taken care of. Margaret updated us with pictures over the afternoon, and when we came to pick up, Hattie was was in a great, happy mood. We have no complaints with the experience, and would gladly leave Hattie with Margaret again.”

Tengo un apartamento bastantes amplio dónde tu mascota puede estar tranquilamente, tengo algunos premios, juguetes, comida, cosas con las cuales estoy segura no podria aburrirse, me gusta mucho salir a caminar asi que podria ser un gran beneficio si lo que necesitas es que tu mascota salga a despejarse un poco.

About: I have been taking care of dogs for years. I have a small dog myself. Her name is Willow and she is 18. She is sincerely my very best friend. If given the option, I would be with dogs over people. They bring me so much joy and laughter. I only work a few hours a day and have a very flexible schedule so I will be able to meet your pets routine needs. I am very flexible on taking care of your pets. If they are not good with my dog, I have options not to have her with me.

About: Lifelong dog owner with decades of experience caring for dogs both big and small. I work from home and am able to provide constant care, companionship and plenty of exercise. I am happy to host dogs from different families if they are friendly, but I am also happy to host your dog(s) alone. Boarders or daycare get at least two to three 30+ min walks/day, dozens of photos, and lots of love of course! I provide toys, bowls, a dog bed, treats, poop bags and a backup leash. A tired dog is a good dog :) I grew up with border collies and labs, then rescued my own dogs in adulthood. One of my rescues was a very sick 3-month old puppy that I raised, so I am well-versed with puppy care. I do not currently have pets living in the home, so your dogs will have the run of the place! I own my own home on a quiet circle street. My yard is an expansive quarter acre of grass with access to miles of mowed walking paths. I am happy to brush the dogs after these walks, if safe and allowed. When a visit starts, I like to take the dogs on a “Welcome Walk” to get acquainted in neutral outdoor space. My six year old son is often present for a booking. He is a responsible child who has been taught to be respectful of dogs by giving them space and patience. We have firm rules that he will never climb, poke, tease or infringe on a dog’s personal space. If your booking request ends up being a time that he will be staying with me, then he enjoys participating in meet in greets to ensure everyone is a great fit :) we have yet to meet a dog we didn’t like! I provide treats (if allowed), a dog bed, bowls, toys and backup leash (but I prefer you bring the leash your dog is familiar with!). Please feel free to bring a crate if you’d like me to crate your dog. I prioritize safety and clear communication (with owners and dogs!) to create a comfortable experience for all. I have used the clicker training method in the past, and do not believe in any form of domineering or physical correction. Your dog will have a stable experience here. I look forward to taking care of your wonderful pets! I work from home, so I am flexible for drop-ins, last-minute needs, or regular walks, and can give your dog consistent companionship…and some fun of course! Rain or shine, I am happy to take them out. I provide a treats (if allowed), a dog bed, bowls, toys and backup leash (but I prefer you bring the leash your dog is familiar with!). Please feel free to bring a crate if you’d like to crate your dog! When a visit starts, I like to take the dogs on “Welcome Walk” where we get acquainted in the great outdoors.
