I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience with both energetic dogs and senior pets. I currently care for a 12 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, so I have firsthand experience managing high energy levels, from his puppy years through his senior stage, while also being attentive to the extra care older dogs need. I can balance exercise, routine, and care. In addition, I have two 14 year old cats and experience feeding cats and maintaining clean litter boxes. I also enjoy running and I have experience running with my GSP. I’m currently working at a tax accounting firm in Charlottesville through the end of tax season on April 15, 2026, so my Rover availability is limited until then. Starting April 16, 2026, I’ll be a lot more flexible since my seasonal position ends! I’ll have completely open weekday availability for dog walks, drop-in visits, and checking in on houses or cats. On some weekends I stay in town and can do dog walking or house sitting, but it varies. You’re always welcome to reach out about weekend care but I just can’t promise I’ll be around every time. About: Hi! I’m new to Rover and am currently trying to build my portfolio. I volunteered at the Cincinnati Animal Shelter for 3 consecutive years before I moved to Indianapolis, where I volunteered and fostered at Indy Humane!! Our energetic German shepherd had surgery a week before our trip and they were able to help keep him comfy, monitor his healing, help give medications, and spoil him!
