About: I am definitely the biggest animal lover you will get to know! For years i’ve cared for and trained a wide range of animals wild and domestic. I’ve also worked in shelters and rescue centers to helped troubled dogs and cats. I have experience handling about every personality type of animal and sizes + quantities. Every animal I meet, I treat with the same love and care as my own fur babies. I cant wait to take care of your beloved furry friends!! I have plenty of time to dedicate to all the lovely animals i work with! Im a full time student in college but only enrolled in online classes so I have a very flexible schedule. About: I’ve owned both dogs and cats and have cared for several family members’ pets for over 20 years! I’m a huge animal lover and miss having one of my own. I’m a stay-at-home-mom of 3 kids so I have plenty of time to walk and play! My schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available on weekends. I have an unfenced yard and live 20 feet from the Crozet trail system, right next to Claudius Crozet Park. We don’t have any pets of our own but my three kids (ages 4, 5 & 6) are very active and will play all day with your pet. My sister is a vet at Dominion Animal Hospital so I have immediate access to professional help if needed!

About: Hi! I’m Ashley! 🐾 I’m a small-business owner, but I only work two days a week during normal business hours. The rest of the week, I’m a stay-at-home mom to my toddler, so I’m home most of the time and able to give your pup plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and love! I offer both dog boarding and daycare, and I only take ONE client dog at a time. This allows me to give your dog individualized attention rather than having a house full of unfamiliar dogs. Our home is very pet-friendly. We have: •One 6-year-old pit mix who is part of our family •Three indoor/outdoor cats who are comfortable around dogs •A toddler, so dogs must be comfortable and safe around small children •A fully fenced yard with a doggy door I’m happy to accept dogs of all ages and sizes, including puppies and senior dogs. I’m also comfortable caring for dogs who need medications or additional attention. Our sweet 15-year-old beagle, Cletis, who you may see in my profile picture, recently passed away, so I’m very familiar with the extra care that comes with senior dogs, including medications and keeping up with their individual routines. I also have plenty of experience with hounds and their famously adventurous, escape-artist personalities! The one important requirement is that your dog must be comfortable being crated. On the two days I work, your dog may be crated for up to 8 hours while I’m away. The rest of the week, I’m home with my toddler and your pup will have lots of companionship and attention. For everyone’s safety and comfort, dogs staying with us need to: • Be comfortable around small children • Be comfortable around cats • Be able to safely stay in a crate for up to 8 hours when necessary • Be comfortable in a home with another dog • Be house-trained or actively working on it I want your dog to feel like they’re staying in a home, not a kennel. I’ll treat your pup like one of our own, keep you updated with pictures and messages, and make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and time outside. About: All my life I've loved and cared for animals. Cats, dogs, goats, chickens, cows, fish, you name it. I've got 20+ years of experience. The past 11 years I've discovered my love for bulldogs. I have a happy family of rescue frenchies, a Great Dane, a kunekune pig, goats and even an African Zebu steer. I have previous experience working in veterinary clinics. In my previous life I was a bloodhound search and rescue handler as well. I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, large and small dogs, cats and a variety of other critters as well. I think animals are wonderful souls and I treat them all with respect and love. My life, my little farm, my routine and personal schedule revolve around my dogs and other critters. I work from home so my availability is usually quite flexible. I have a nicely fenced yard where dogs can run and play. If a dog is boarding with me, or in daycare, they will have plenty of playtime throughout the day. When the dogs are done playing and it's time to rest, I have dedicated rooms with comfy crates and playpens. I am very comfortable taking care of senior dogs or those that need a little extra tlc.

One of the favorite spots at our retreat is our screened balcony overlooking the woods. Dogs love relaxing there, watching birds and wildlife, and enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature. Many simply love to curl up and observe everything happening around them. Inside our home, there is plenty of comfortable space to play, relax, and spend time with us. Some of our guests even enjoy watching Dog TV while keeping us company. Most importantly, every dog receives plenty of individual attention, love, and supervision. I make it a priority to keep communication open with pet parents and send photos and updates throughout the day, so you can see how your best friend is doing. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priorities. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a beloved family member, and I truly appreciate the trust you place in me. My goal is for you to travel with complete peace of mind, knowing your dog is safe, loved, and well cared for.

About: Loving family with little kids interested in loving your doggie! As a family we have many years of experience with having dogs in our home and helping to care for others dogs. We have 5 beautiful, un-fenced, acres where your pup will be free to roam. If necessary we have an outdoor dog run for those needing more structure. While we do not allow dogs in our beds, nor on furniture, we do allow them in our hearts. Our family loves dogs, walking, running, throwing the ball/frisbee, cuddling, and caring for dogs.
