About: I have had dogs for my entire life! I currently have 2 dogs. Both are Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Trinity is our senior girl 13 yrs old, and Shira who is 2. I have had the most experience with big dogs (mainly German Shepherds and now Rhodesian Ridgebacks). I have done Schutzhund with my shepherds and have done dog shows and obedience shows locally with my Ridgebacks. Our dogs and the ones I take care of are always my priority. I treat all dogs like they are mine so they get all the love, snuggles, and attention they want. I have a safe and secure home and yard. We have a 3/4 acre completely fenced back yard fenced to 6 feet high. We are in the country and have lots of bunnies for them to chase. We also have a creek on our property that in good weather would be fun for the dogs to play in. I have some agility equipment that I will break out when the weather is nice and let dogs go through those or show them how. For rainy days we have toys and dog puzzles to keep their minds active. We also have a shop that I can put up agility equipment when the weather is lousy and cold so they can chase each other around in there if they are getting antsy. I also do daily obedience with my own dog and any other dog that is with me and wants to join in. While most of my experience has been with big dogs, I will work with any style and breed of dog after I meet them and we get to know each other. I also have experience working with packs of dogs, as at one time, I had a large pack of both German Shepherds, and then Ridgebacks. I also have a lot of experience working with puppies and can help with basic training. I seem to have a knack to help dogs who normally don’t eat or are very nervous when being left with someone else. I have had many boarders who’s moms and dads said were picky eaters or wouldn’t eat for a couple of days and somehow with me they eat well, don’t miss meals, and many times expand their diets. If you have a dog that takes medication I can, and have, administered meds that their parents bring. But I will only administer prescription meds written by a licensed veterinarian to the specific dog with explicit instructions. Bottom line, I don’t just “board” dogs. They are part of the family and treated as such until you get back. They Are talked to, interacted with by my dogs and myself and my husband all day long. They aren’t just put in a room or left outside to fend for themselves. They are truly being loved and cared for from the minute they are dropped off until the minute you pick them up. My husband and I are retired so I am full time at home now. So I can board 7 days a week. And overnight care at my house will be my specialty as you never have to worry about your dog being left for hours during the day or night. I have a very “dog friendly” home. That being said my house is clean and fairly tidy. I clean daily to make sure the dogs are in the best environment. My goal is to have your dog go home with you better than when they came. If they are full of mud from playing outside in the rain they will be washed and dried before they go home. If their nails are too long I will cut them (if the dog allows). If they need to be brushed, I will brush them and often give them a massage…this is especially good for the nervous dogs. If they are scared and feel nervous they will be returned happy and calm from being pampered while you were away. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture including our bed and can play inside or outside with my dogs who are very friendly to other dogs and people. I don’t crate any of my dogs and don’t require dogs that stay with me to be crated during the day or night. If you prefer your dog to be crated at night I will follow your instructions if you bring the crate that they are used to. Many of the dogs that I board sleep in our bed but they also have very plush beds throughout our home that they can sleep on overnight or during the day for naps. Wherever they feel more comfortable sleeping is fine with me even if they don’t want to be in our room with us and our dogs.

About: I’ve been taking care of all kinds of animals for over 8 years now! I love dogs and cats, but I’ve also cared for horses, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, and more! I’m a full-time university student, but I’ll still have plenty of time to care for your animals! Especially in the evenings and afternoons! I’m free most of the summer as well! I have a big yard for your pups to run around in, and a friendly little pup of my own! I can crate your pup if needed, or I can also drop in to your home as well!

About: I have had pets my entire life from basenjis to a Great Pyrenees malamute, and two large tabby cats. Ive also had puppies as young as a day old and a dog as old as 14. I am a full time college student and I work part time so weekends are best during school but on breaks I have lots of availability. I have many animals of my own so I prefer to pet sit at your own house. I have five pets at home 2 cats and three dogs.

About: I've had dogs all my life! I love any kind of dog and have 2 of my own. My dogs are my furbabies and are completely part of the family, and yours will be too! I love playing, hiking, walking, going to dog parks and really anything else having to do with dogs. Rest assured your pup will be in great hands when they're with me! I work from home full-time, so I will always be available to your pet for any and all snuggles and potty breaks. I am in the Ariel/Cougar area, so I can freely accommodate this area, plus Woodland, Amboy, Yacolt and possibly Battle Ground. About: I've taken care of many pets of all ages, such as friends & families, & pets of my own. I know how to be their support companion. I'm available: All Sundays & Tuesdays all day, and in the afternoon to evenings Monday, Wednesday, Thursday Not available: Fridays and Saturdays. Mornings on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday I give my pets a lot of love & care. I let my puppy get his energy out. I remember to give my cat her snuggle time. I make sure both water bowls are always full & they have food (depending if it's feeding time or not). I'm always looking for throw up/hair balls & poop/pee to clean up.

About: I have 3 dogs ranging from 1-10 1/2 years of age. We have done the puppy stage three times so I’m used to that and willing to help. I know how stressful it can be if you need to go out of town and still have a puppy at home that needs a little more attention, let me help you with this! I’m not afraid of any dogs I just need to meet them first before agreeing to a job just so that we know it’ll be a good fit. I’m currently working full time 12 hr days. So I will not schedule myself when I’m working unless of course this works for you. I’m just looking to see if I can help some people while they travel or need someone to come and check on their pets while they are away. I currently live on 2.5 acres so having dogs come to my house will not be a good fit. We have 3 dogs and sometimes sit for family and friends and their dogs come over and we closely watch them while outside so they don’t venture off into the woods. Right now I’m just looking to see if I can help with checking in on pets or walking them or even possibly house sitting if need be. I know how important routine and familiarity is important so I would like to meet the pets with the owners before agreeing to a job and this way we can make sure the pets are comfortable with me and also we can go over dos and don’ts with your pets.

“Sara was once again just amazing! 12 hour days without a potty break is just plain mean, so we got Sara to break up the day. While I was out of town and my wife worked those 12hr days, Sara came up for 30 minutes each day and let them out and played with them (though she sometimes stayed for an hour letting the dogs have fun in the yard), even brought her little one for a doggie date! About: Hi! I've lived and worked with animals since I was about 9 years old. I grew up on a farm with dogs horses and cats and lots of other livestock babies. Just recently during covid also did foster care for many dogs. It gives me such joy and warmth hanging out with animals and seeing there personalities come out. We are all animals and I love being around them and caring for them. Thank you for your time! I'm currently between careers, I'm going on a trip to Costa Rica in late November and am looking for something to fill the time that I enjoy. I have alot of availability to provide services to lots of happy animals. I am a responsible adult that is very used to keeping a constant eye and ear on said animals wellbeing. I would treat these babies as if they where my own which would include constant adoration and positive encouragement.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs big and small since I was little. Friends and family have relied on me to walk feed and stay in home with their pets. I’m currently a casual Longshormen, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available weekdays anytime and weekends if needed. I know how to deal with anxious dogs and have dealt with dogs who have epilepsy. I can come and play with your dog, go on walks, or cuddle with your dog. Whatever they prefer. I work at Amaros table as a bartender and server mostly over the weekend, but with short shifts my free time is immense. I'vw been a veterinary technician and emergency veterinary technician for over 12 years. I currently work part time at SCVSEC. I am fear free certified. I have extensive experience caring for dogs with special needs, medical needs, senior dogs, and dogs that are on hospice care. I also have 10+ years experience in training dogs, from competitive obedience and agility, to service dogs, to working with fear aggressive dogs. I particularly love puppy development and training. I use positive reinforcement and have experience in clicker training, but I can cater to any training needs. I do offer bathing/grooming in my home for those that stay with us. We have a fully fenced yard. Our home houses 3 very socialized dogs, 2 dog friendly cats, 9 chickens (they have their own yard), and a chinchilla. Requirements: your pet MUST be up to date on age appropriate vaccines (DHPP, Lepto, Rabies). I do strongly recommend Bordetella and Influenza as well, due to recent outbreaks. Your pet must be crate trained, as I do not leave pets loose when I leave the house for safety reasons. For puppies, I will gladly work on their crate training. Pets are supervised 24/7, I have 2 cameras in the pet area for when I have to leave the house. I love to cater to the individual, so please tell me about your pet so I can make sure they have the best and most enjoyable stay! **For all overnight house sitting requests, due to circumstances I need to bring my 1 dog with me. He is well socialized with dogs and a polite house guest. I have lived in a dog daycare/boarding situation, so I am very used to keeping dogs separate and I am more than happy to keep him separate and he would stay in a crate. If you have any questions about this or about him, please feel free to ask! Normally I wouldn’t bring my personal dog, but due to several reasons we are a package deal.** I am home almost 24/7, aside from an occasional appointment, so my day revolves solely around caring for any and all animals. I have a very flexible routine, so I can cater specifically to clients needs and time frames. I treat every pet like they are our own and give them endless attention (I might spoil them a bit). I pay a lot of attention to instructions and I’m not afraid to ask questions. Making sure your pet is happy and comfortable while you are gone and giving exceptional care is my priority.
