About: I’ve always loved animals. Growing up, my family had a mini menagerie—dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and even a cow. I spent my childhood swapping horse care for riding lessons, fostering a deep connection with animals of all kinds. Every day, I dedicate my time to making pets feel loved, safe, and cared for. From volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society as a pet photographer to fostering kittens, my life has been a continuous adventure in caring for animals. Over the years, I’ve shared my home with several cats—Petey, Beamer, Gus Gus, and Olliver—each with their own unique personality and quirks. I also raised two wonderful dogs, Ikaika and Astrid, sharing countless hikes, park adventures, and cozy nights at home. Ikaika was a playful and spirited dog who brought immense joy to my life before his battle with cancer ended too soon at the age of seven. Losing him taught me to cherish every moment with our pets. Most recently, I said goodbye to Astrid, my senior dog, after 16 wonderful years of companionship. While losing her was incredibly difficult, honoring her memory has inspired me to enrich the lives of other people’s furry companions. Raising both Ikaika and Astrid—from playful pups to wise seniors—taught me the unique joys and challenges of every life stage. I decided to turn my lifelong love for animals into a mission: helping pet parents feel at ease when they can’t be there. I’ve built strong skills in training young pets, caring for senior animals, and administering medications when needed. Whether it’s socializing a shy kitten, wrangling an energetic puppy, or ensuring an older dog feels comfortable, I bring patience, understanding, and experience to every interaction. My goal is simple: to make sure every pet I care for feels at home and loved, while giving their humans peace of mind. Reach out, and let’s talk about how I can support you and your furry family! AVAILABLE (open schedule): Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday are open schedule 10am-6pm NOT AVAILABLE (days and times, usually twice a week): Monday, Wednesday afternoons between 3PM-6PM Friday mornings between 9AM-12noon Drop-ins and pet sitting in your home: I treat every client's home with the utmost respect and care, ensuring a safe and stress-free experience for their pet. I do this by: • Following your instructions regarding feeding, medication, and exercise routines. • Ensuring all gates and doors are securely closed to prevent escapes. • Being attentive to the pet's body language and behavior to identify any signs of stress or discomfort. • Providing regular updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing. Walking your dog: Safety is my number one concern during dog walks. Having had a very sensitive and reactive dog, I’m aware of the environment and take necessary precautions such as: • Understanding your pet’s behavior with other animals and people. • Avoiding close interactions with unknown dogs. • Following the leash law.

About: I have cared for several work friend's pets, including someone who had 7 medium-large dogs with a laundry list of special accommodations and medications needed I am an Army Veteran going to college, this leaves my afternoons and weekends completely free. I can alter the rest of my schedule to accommodate your pet I have a dog and cat of my own, so I have experience with the difference in the needs and behaviors of the two most common household pets. I care for their physical as well as their mental health to the best of my ability. I strive to care for all animals the same way.

About: I've had many years of experience between keeping my own animals as well as house sitting or just dropping in to check on your pets! I also offer the same service for reptiles! Preferably would like to service closer to Wytheville but will travel in some cases, extra fees will apply depending on distance! I currently have a full time job but I am looking to quit so I can focus on doing nails and going to school part time for that but I need a side hustle! I live in a school bus so I don't really have tons of room to take care of pets there but I am more than willing to come to their homes, I'd prefer that the pet is comfortable as possible and I cannot stay overnight in a home but I can stay as long as needed to make sure the care requirements are met

About: Hello! I love all types of pets and currently have two dogs of my own. I am a student at Virginia-Maryland college of veterinary medicine trying to earn some extra money by doing what I love, playing with pets. I have experience with all types of pets at varying sizes and personalities. During my undergraduate career, I raised two Seeing Eye Dogs and helped other raisers with training. During this time, I worked at a veterinary hospital, participated in animal specific events like vaccination clinics, and groomed. From healthy puppies and kittens to seniors who need medication, I have seen it all and am prepared to help with whatever your pet needs. I hope I can meet your fur babies and shower them with love while you’re away. I offer additional grooming services, ask about them if your interested. As someone who owns two dogs, pet care is a priority in my life. Both of my pups get plenty of one-on-one time as well as long walks and enrichment in the house. During the day, the pups are crated while I am at school, but if my boyfriend is off of work they get to run around and play. As soon as I get home the dogs get taken out and fed. Along with daily care, I take care of all of their grooming and medical needs as well. I currently live in apartment complex which has a dog play area for your furry friends to get plenty of exercise. There is also a trail connected to the complex which will be utilized for long walks and plenty of sniffing opportunities. Both of my pups are very friendly and would be happy to be your pet’s playmate during their stay.

About: I have taken care of several types of animals including rabbits, dogs, cats, fish, and hamsters. I have personally had a rabbit named Buttercup who lived until she was 13 years old and currently have two dogs and two cats. I have taken care of others animals over the past decade and some change including walking dogs, popping in throughout the day to provide attention and meals, and boarded at my own home. I am currently an occupational therapy student at Emory and Henry and am in my last semester. I am free Thursday-Sunday as I work virtually for my capstone project. When I am coming into your home to care for your beloved pet I ensure I am being respectful of your area and keeping it tidy. At my own home I have a big yard with plenty of space for animal to run around and have fun. I have two dogs of my own as well as two cats, all of which are friendly with other animals.

About: DISREGARD REVIEW FROM ROBIN! It contains lies which meet the standard for libel. Nothing in her review is true. I did come the night before at her request, but every other remark is untrue. I have two dozen 5-star reviews from this site and others. Where to start? Three dogs with 11 legs, 50+ cats, 2 alpacas, 7 parrots, farm critters— Out of space! What else? And…um…Ack! Estates, hovels, and— Being retired from the rat race, I now sit full-time. That means I’m there 24/7 to give your Fur/Feather/Scale Babies and home love and care The safety of your pets/home are of utmost importance, so a schedule and information list are essential. I prefer arriving early to go over everything. Being retired, sitting pets and homes is my only focus. Actually, available within a four-hundred mile radius, all the way to the coast, the big city, and everywhere in between! I make certain your home and your pets are in the same pristine condition as when I arrived. The pets (who have lips) will be smiling. Of course, they will be even more exciting to see you again. The house would be smiling, if not for that whole lips thing.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover, having dogs my entire life. I have enjoyed the process of raising and caring for dogs. Family and friends have requested for assistance with caring for their pets while on business trips. My fiancé and I have a friendly, playful dog of our own now who could poise as a friend and social interaction during our care if so desired. I currently work a full-time healthcare job Monday-Thursday. I would be available for drop in visits and dog walking Friday during the morning/evening times, and occasionally on Saturdays and Sundays! :) I always make sure all boundaries and spaces are maintained. In our home, we have an unfinished downstairs that your doggo can run and play with my two crazy boys. I feel very comfortable putting your dog in a kennel, if needed.

About: I have been fostering & training animals for rescues and shelters since 2009. I enjoy fostering because it helps more animals in the long run, I am great with animals that are unruly & have vet technician experience, so you can be sure your animal is in great hands when at my home or in my care, I love cats, dogs & caged animals & will go above and beyond for them. I can do things that most animal caretakers aren’t comfortable with, such as administer medications, light training, cleaning, bathing, grooming, even go pet shopping if needed! I will treat your babies as my own 😊 I have a huge yard & I live a few miles from a park with a walking trail. I own my business and work from home on my own schedule so I can work around my animal care schedule if needed. I have a 6 month old but can and will refrain from contact if needed. I have pets of my own as well as fosters at any given time, however my house is split level and plenty big enough to separate my animals from visiting one's to ensure safety.
