“Megan is AMAZING! She was 110% responsible and loving with my 2 dogs and in my home. When I returned from my trip my dogs were so relaxed, I've never seen them so content.....ever, after being gone. She walked them everyday and sent pics of them walking and later snuggling. Truly one in a million she is!”

“Joanna was great with our girls especially so last minute. We arranged a meet and greet and when she got to our place she immediately sent an update and photos. The peace of mind we felt was priceless.”

“My family and I haven't been away in a long time, largely because it's always hard to find just the right person to look after our 2 adult dogs. We found Jessica on Rover and, after an initial meet and greet, we knew she was just the right fit for our lovable Lab and anxious German Shepherd. She sent us updates and pics each day we were gone and just made it so much easier for us to be away from our fur babies. Highly recommend Jessica!”

“Bethany was absolutely amazing with all 3 of our girls who have different personalities. She was able to adjust and meet the needs of each fur baby. I checked on the girls halfway through our trip and Bethany gave me a good report with pictures. She was very respectful of our home.”

“Christine was awesome! She was so good with our little guy and helped him settle into a new place. I booked way in advanced and she was the first sitter that did not cancel and checked in with me. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Lisa is the dog whisperer. She is so caring for your pet and actively involved with your dog. Or any pet she will watch for you! Absolutely recommend Lisa for all your needs!!”

“Katrina was so great at communicating with us and providing pictures to help ease our minds while out of town. She was very respectful of our space and left it cleaner than she found it. Will absolutely utilize her again for future house sitting needs.”

“Amber showed up early and seemed to care / listen to our directions and concerns. She sent photo updates and took the dogs on a long walk, which they enjoyed! We appreciated her responsible nature and seemed genuinely kind to the dogs. We recommend her to everyone looking for a reliable person.”

About: We started this as a summer job that we thought would be fun - well, we are still having fun! My husband and I have been raised with dogs and want the same for our kids!. When your dog comes to our home, they become a part of the family! Drop-ins are the same. It’s important to us that we meet our pups and parents to make sure it’s a good fit for all because we understand how unsettling it can be to be separated from them. Mickey and I have a solid understanding and respect for dog instincts and behaviors and enjoy all breeds. We have two children (one who is a future pet sitter, herself) and they love having furry friends over! We have a 4 year old Lemon Beagle named Rosie and she enjoy visitors as well! We have a huge fenced-in backyard with lots of things to smell and explore! I work as a school teacher and my husband works at home. My work hours end pretty early and this also allows us to have weekends and most holidays free. But someone is almost always home. We will have open hours for most of June-August :-) As mentioned, we have a big, fenced-in yard and a very pet friendly home. If your dog is primarily an indoor dog, we will only take them out for walks, play, and potty! When your pet is in our care, they become one of our family members - lots of conversations, hugs and belly rubs, and exercise!
About: Reliable and caring pet sitter with strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and a passion for keeping pets safe, happy, and well-cared for. With years of experience. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work from home and maintain a very flexible schedule. I’m available throughout the day for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins, and I can easily adjust my schedule to meet each pet’s needs. This allows me to provide consistent attention, care, and companionship, ensuring pets feel safe, comfortable, and well-cared for. In my home, I provide a safe, spacious, and welcoming environment. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I make up for it with multiple daily walks and trips to the dog park twice a day for exercise and socialization. I also have two children and a friendly dog, so your pet will have plenty of companionship and feel right at home. In a client’s home, I follow your pet’s routine closely—feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care—so they stay comfortable in their familiar environment.
“Ripley is always relaxed and happy when I come home after Taylor has been watching her. In fact, this time when I got home after almost two weeks Ripley greeted me, but also spent some time clearly looking around for Taylor. She kept looking expectantly toward the door as if she was saying, ‘Okay, I get that you’re home, but where’s Taylor?’ That tells me how much she likes Taylor accepts that she’s part of her world. I’m always comfortable leaving Ripley, and my house, in Taylor’s hands. I love that Ripley is comfortable too. As always when Taylor stays at my house to watch Ripley, the house was spotless when I got home. I try to leave it that way; Taylor always keeps it that way. Bottom line: another five-star performance by Taylor. I highly recommend her!”

“We had a last minute trip come up and Charlie was happy to help us watch our dogs again! She sent plenty of pictures and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable sitter that really cares for your pups!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have years of hands-on experience caring for pets of different sizes, ages, and personalities. I’ve personally owned pitbull breeds, so I’m very comfortable handling strong, high-energy dogs, but I also have experience with small breeds and cats as well. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your animals. I’m reliable, patient, active, and genuinely enjoy spending time with pets whether that means walks, playtime, feeding, medication routines, or just keeping them company. My military background has also made me very responsible, organized, and dependable, so you can feel confident your pets will be safe, cared for, and treated like family with me. I currently have a very flexible schedule and a lot of availability throughout the week. I recently graduated college and am waiting to begin active duty military service, so right now I’m doing side work and pet sitting for extra income while I prepare for that transition. Since I’m living with my sister and have fewer day-to-day obligations, I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care, walks, playtime, check-ins, and keeping pets company. I’m available most weekdays, weekends, and holidays with flexible hours. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always prioritize safety, consistency, and comfort. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, walking routines, and any specific care requests from owners. I have experience with both large and small dog breeds, including pitbulls, as well as cats, so I’m comfortable handling different temperaments and energy levels.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Wynnehaven Beach
This sitter was phenomenal! It was our first time leaving our pups with anyone else, and when we got home they whined at the door after the sitter! On top of that, communication before and during the trip was excellent and consistent; we received multiple photos of the animals each day and updates on their behavior. Would absolutely recommend their services to anyone we know looking for a house sitter, and will be booking again for our next trip!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Wynnehaven Beach walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Wynnehaven Beach maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wynnehaven Beach choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
