“Great person and very reliable, our dogs loved her. She fed them, played, took for walks and cleaned up after. We were getting pictures and messages while we were away, it was such relief knowing that the puppies are safe and looked after. Will definitely using her services in the future. Thank you”

“Jesse was such a wonderful pet sitter for us during a weekend away! He was friendly, clearly enjoyed the pets, and his communication was awesome— lots of pics and videos to tide us over!”

About: I am a lifelong animal lover providing dependable, attentive care. I treat every pet like family while respecting their unique routines, personalities, and comfort needs. As a licensed esthetician, I’m naturally patient, detail-oriented and committed to creating a calm, clean, and comfortable environment. I understand how important routines are, so I take the time to learn each pet’s individual needs and personality. I have experience caring for my own cats, as well as pet sitting for family and friends’ dogs and cats, including feeding, walks, playtime, administering medication, overnight care, potty breaks, and litter box cleaning. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I currently work 3–4 days a week as a licensed esthetician at Glowbar in Rittenhouse, with shifts typically starting around 2:30 PM, though my schedule can vary slightly week to week. Because of this, I have consistent availability in the mornings, earlier afternoons and on my days off to dedicate to pet care services like walks and drop-ins when needed. I’m very organized and intentional about managing my time, so I’m able to plan my pet care bookings around my work schedule to ensure each pet gets my full attention and care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is to maintain their normal routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free while their owner is away. I take the time to follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk routines, litter box care, playtime, and any specific preferences the pet may have. I approach each visit with patience, calm energy, and attention to detail. I understand that pets can be sensitive to change, so I move at their pace and focus on building trust so they feel secure with me. I also treat my clients’ homes with the same respect I would my own. I keep everything clean and organized, make sure doors are secured, and always leave the space as I found it. I’m very mindful of safety, including checking water bowls, ensuring pets are comfortable before leaving, and giving updates so owners feel reassured while they’re away. My goal is always to make both the pet and the owner feel completely at ease and genuinely cared for.
“This is the first time I had someone stay in my home to care for Chica. Alexys was great. She came by the house the day before we were leaving for a meet and greet. She arrived on time, stayed one night overnight, washed the sheets and made the bed. That was above and beyond. And Chica was happy. I would definitely use Alexys again and recommend her to anyone need pet sitting/walking services.”

“We cant thank Matt enough for watching Indy on our wedding day. He was able to stick by Indy’s side through all the chaos going on in the house. I was worried about our pup since it would be a new experience for him. Matt gave me regular updates on how he was doing as well as sent pictures and really put our minds at ease. 5/5 would recommend!”

“Always such a great caretaker for our animals. They have provided so much help with last minute assistance with our animals. TreDerica is incredibly communicative and has always shared so many pictures with us while we are away. Will happily book multiple times !”

“This was our first time using rover and Irina made the process smooth and stress free. She gave us constant updates and spent a lot of time with our girls. Both our cat and dog were very well taken care of and definitely received a lot of love !”

“Dana came in clutch and helped us with a last minute request. She provided great updates, followed instructions well, and sent cute pics along the way. She took great care of our 2 big goofy dogs and would definitely reach out to her for help in the future 😊”

About: I've taken care of dogs & cats for over 10 years my family friends and neighbors rely on me to care for their animals when they're gone to drop by even if it's just to keep them company and check on them these animals are my babies I believe that animals are Soul too or not just animals I'm currently looking for part-time and some weekends I'm usually available every other day after 2:00 p.m. if I don't have a doctor's appointment or something like that my schedule is very flexible but I need 24 hours notice if I'm going to do a sit Well I live in my apartment with my cat Sophie we have a routine every morning she gets her treats interaction she gets brushed and then I have my morning routine I won't be taking any pets into my home because Sophie is just not used to that so I would have to drop into your home or spend the day or whatever you and I agree upon
About: As a fur parent I know how important it is to receive updates and reliable pet care. I make sure to communicate as frequently as you’d like! I have experience with dogs, cats, and farm animals. If you want frequent updates….I gotcha. Pictures…no sweat. I’d love to help. I’m clean, communicative, responsible, and flexible. I'm here for your summer travels, last minute walks, and house-sitting needs seven days a week with flexibility to help accommodate your schedule. I have an apartment with two cats I fostered and adopted. I love to love on animals and know how important it is to find trust worthy help. I previously worked at an animal sanctuary where I cared for goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens, and cats. I take time to get to know each animal so that they feel comfortable and loved. I’m not currently caring for animals at my place right now. But I’d love to house sit or complete drop-ins for you to take good care of your babies.
“Porsche was wonderful. She sent pictures of my fur-kid, he loves her. My house was clean. We had open communication and I am grateful that I knew Kingston was in great hands.”

“This was our first time using Rover and I'll be honest, I was pretty nervous about it. Alina completely put us at ease. Before the booking even started, she came by to meet Lou and Max and go over everything, which made a huge difference. Throughout the stay she was responsive whenever we reached out, and if anything came up on her end she contacted us right away. She treated our boys and our home with genuine care and respect. We came back to the house in better shape than we left it, and she sent us photos of the boys while we were away which we really appreciated. We will absolutely be requesting Alina again for future trips. If you're looking for someone who is responsive, professional, and truly attentive, look no further.”

“We used Ari for 5 days for our dog Freddy , we had a destination wedding for my sister who was getting married and we interviewed with Ari in oct and we had a meet up with him and Freddy to just make sure he would be able to watch him for 5 days in our home because our Fred is comfortable in his own home and Ari has no problem accommodating and staying with him each night at our home. He was attentive and communicative lending up to his arrival day and while we were on vacation he made sure to send update and answer and of my million calls just to check in on our dog. I made sure to ask Ari if he wanted any food stocked in the house for himself to have while he was here and his only request was simple just lemonade . Once arriving home today our Freddy was as happy as can be our house looked the exact way we left it and we are already in talks to have him back again in May for our Mexico Trip !!! I can not recommend Ari enough to anyone who is looking for a dog sitter for a vacation trip or wedding or just to walk your dog !! We provide him also with a tip via Apple Pay for him because of him going above and beyond for our Freddy and for us .”

About: Growing up around all types of animals helped me develop my current love for them! I’m an aspiring veterinary student that would love to get more experience :) I currently take care of my own dogs at home, while also have taken care of cats numerous times! I’ve been taking care of animals since I was born, this comes naturally to me. I care for pets like they’re my own, giving them the love and care that I would if it were in my own home. Every animal deserves kindness!
“Lauren did a wonderful job as an "in-home" overnight sitter for our two dogs. One is a puppy so he needs constant care. She was loving and attentive to them, and the experience gave me peace of mind while traveling without my babies. 😊”

Juliette was awesome! She took great care of my doggies while my husband and I were away. She stayed at my house the entire 4 days. My doggies loved her. I would highly recommend Juliette if you ever need a dog sitter. She will take great care of your dogs for sure.

FAQs for House Sitting - Wyndmoor Estates
Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Wyndmoor Estates on Rover is $42.8 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 5,748 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Wyndmoor Estates. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Wyndmoor Estates walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Wyndmoor Estates maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wyndmoor Estates choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wyndmoor Estates. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
