I have been taking care of pets my entire life, and love having the opportunity to meet new animals! I recently said goodbye to my best friend and first cat I had on my own, Kitty, and she taught me everything I needed to know about pet parenting and senior care. Since then, I’ve adopted two kittens, Nelly and Ollie. I also participate in Providence Animal Shelters ‘rover’ program, where you get to take a dog out for a walk/to hang out with for a few hours, as often as I can. Growing up I had a job as an assistant and took care of their dog during the day every summer. This included feedings, walks, medications, playtime, grooming and cleaning up after them. I have frequently house-sat for people in the past (pre-rover) with both cats and dogs and understand the importance of helping them stay in their routine. There’s no job too big or too small, I’m simply grateful to be able to help!
