About: I’m a University of Arkansas graduate and a lifelong dog lover, and caring for dogs has become a big part of my life. I have my own dog, who I got after graduating, and for the past 8+ months I’ve been fostering dogs in need through Big Paws of the Ozarks. Fostering has given me extensive hands-on experience with dogs of many breeds, personalities, ages, and needs, including shelter dogs who may be nervous, stressed, or adjusting to a new environment. I’ve become very comfortable introducing new dogs into my home and helping them adjust to both me and my own dog, which is especially important when boarding. Fostering has also taught me to recognize canine body language and cues, so I’m able to tell when a dog is stressed, tired, overstimulated, or simply needs some space or a break. Above all, I want every dog in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to meet each dog where they are—whether that means lots of playtime and walks or giving a nervous or senior pup a little extra time and care. My schedule is flexible, and I’m able to make pet care a consistent part of my daily routine. I enjoy spending time with dogs through walks, runs, playtime, and snuggles, and I’m happy to accommodate their individual routines and needs. I have two extra bedrooms, so I can give each dog their own comfortable space at night if they prefer to sleep in a crate or have some quiet time. I’m also happy to let dogs sleep with us if that’s what they’re used to. My priority is always making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and supervised, while also making sure their interactions with my dog are positive.
About: I’ve been around dogs and animals my entire life, and I’m definitely the person who will ignore the humans in the room and go straight for the dog. I’m responsible, attentive and very comfortable stepping into a pet’s normal routine, whether that means walks, playtime, medications, sticking to their feeding schedule or just providing some excellent couch companionship. Every pet has their own personality, quirks and very specific opinions about how things should be done, and I’m happy to follow their lead. I’m especially good with dogs who need a little extra patience or reassurance when their people are away. I’ll treat your home with respect, keep you updated so you know everything is going well and make sure your pet gets plenty of attention while you’re gone. Fair warning: I’ll probably give them a ridiculous nickname by day two. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I can work around your pet’s routine instead of expecting them to work around mine. Walks, meals, potty breaks, playtime and bedtime can all stay as close to normal as possible. I’m also happy to spend plenty of time at the house, so your pet won’t just get a quick hello, a bowl of food and a disappearing act. If they’re used to having someone around, they’ll have me around. When I’m staying in your home, my goal is pretty simple: keep your pet happy, safe and comfortable while you’re gone. I’ll follow your instructions, pay attention to the little things and treat your home the way I’d want someone to treat mine. And you won’t have to wonder what’s going on. About: I have always been a dog lover. My husband and I have have dogs for our entire marriage. 22yrs!! They are such a part of the family!!! I'm a stay at home Mom. I'm at the house most all of the day. Always available for potty breaks, walks, and snuggles ❤️ 💕 I am always diligent on making sure leashes and harness are on and secure. About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for dogs and the hands-on experience I have gained caring for many different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have several years of dog-sitting experience and have cared for over 10 families, including one family for more than three years and still am a recurring sitter. I have my own car, so I can easily travel for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. I am generally available after my afternoon classes, in the evenings, and on weekends. I also have flexibility between classes on some days and can work around my sorority commitments with advance notice. I am happy to care for pets in their home, where they are already comfortable and familiar with their surroundings. I always follow their normal routine, including feeding, walks, medication, and bedtime. I also absolutely love cuddling with dogs and, if the owner is comfortable with it, I am more than happy to let them sleep with me, no matter their size! About: I’ve grown up alongside dogs and other animals and helped take care of them since I was young. When I was sixteen, my family adopted our puppy Sal at eight weeks old, and it was my responsibility to take care of him, train him, and love on him. From there, I volunteered at Almost Home animal shelter in Van Buren for two years, where I walked dogs of all sizes and weights, played with them, fed and cared for them, and cleaned out their kennels and bowls. As of now, I’m living away from my family dog since I’m in college, but I’m helping a friend of mine walk and train her newly adopted Cane Corso (she’s a sweetie). I’ve watched dogs for friends and family all through the years, as well. As far as cats go, I’ve loved them since I was a kid, and I adopted one two years ago! His name is Walter, he’s a tabby and the sweetest boy alive, and I love taking care of him, even if he shreds my arms sometimes. Pets need love and patience, and that’s exactly what I have for them. :) I’m currently in college, so while I have a couple of busy days (Mon., Tue., Thur.,) the rest of my week is very free! And I always have plenty of time for sitting. About: I have always had pets growing up and my love for them has only grown. I enjoy learning and understanding animals and take caring for them very seriously. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
