About: I’ve always had a genuine love and affection for dogs and cats, but have never found myself in a life situation that allowed me to have one of my own. However taking care of my friends’ pets over the years has always allowed me to experience the joy of being around loving animals. I would love to do the same for others! I am currently self-employed and work remotely, meaning my schedule is extremely flexible and can be worked around most appointment times, even if they’re last-minute. I treat all animals with the respect and gentleness that they deserve, while recognizing that each pet has their own unique personality and treatment preferences.

About: I grew up in a house that always had 2-4 large dogs at any given time. I often took care of them including walks and grooming, and did the same for neighborhood friends and family members as soon as I could ride a bike. In the past few years, I've also spent a lot of time around and caring for cats. As a graduate student, I currently have evenings free to drop in on pets when you're having a long day! sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
