About: I absolutely love all animals. I worked as a veterinarian assistant for many years at the Vestal Veterinary hospital. I still work there as the lead pharmacist. I have had some behavioral training with my own dogs. I will be able to tend to any kind of special needs your fur/feather babies might have. Im experienced in everything from naughty puppies to medicating our needy seniors, even our spicy kitties lol. I have two rescue dogs Pearl and Chief along with Flocki our Cockatoo, they are my best friends. I know there are many animals that can't be boarded for a wide variety of reasons. Im here to help. You can enjoy your time away and know your beloved pets are comfortable and cared for. Even if you just need someone to help medicate or walk your dog I'd love to help. Unfortunately one of my rescue dogs does not do well with outside dogs. I work 9 to 6 Monday through Friday. I can come to your house before and after work, possibly on lunch. I can stay at your house while you are away. My children are grown and can take care of my home while I care for yours. I would be happy to follow any dietary needs your pet may have. If your pet needs medications I can ensure you your pet will get their medication no matter how difficult the task. I will be compassionate and understanding that your pet is scared and misses you and doesn’t know who I am. I will show your pet all the extra love they need while your away.

About: Taking care of pets has always been part of my life. I have a fenced in yard for dogs to run and play. As for walks, I have to active kids who are always willing to take a walk around. I currently work at the local school just minutes from my home. I come home middle of the day. I am home during the summer and on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and one dog who is a big baby. Dogs are allowed to lay wherever they are comfortable but can also crate if they are used to that.

About: Hi, Everyone! My name is Cara. Thank you for visiting my page. My strong admiration for animals has only grown more with the more animals I meet and as a result, it brings me genuine happiness. It is a rewarding experience to be able to take care of any animal that needs it while their owner is away. Since starting Rover in August 21’, I’ve had 10+ repeat clients and have established great friendships with families/people in the community as a result. I have a M-F teaching position 8am-4pm. A half hour lunch long lunch where I can leave to care for your furries in the middle of the day depending on the distance. Dogs will be crated when I’m not home. A little history: I grew up with a miniature schnauzer (Zoie) whom towards the end of her life, needed constant supervision and was administered medicine 3x/ day, grooming/washing daily. I was always there to comfort her until the end of her life and spoiled her beyond belief. Myself and my family provided care to my mini schnauzer for over 12 years. As a child, I never had a dog sitter to send updates, pictures/videos for my sweet Zoie when my family would travel, so I strongly understand the importance of quick and reliable communication/sending updates while you’re away. Experience - administering medicine/injections - cats, big dogs, small dogs, senior animals, special needs pets, pigs, cows, chickens. -exercise/run with your pet -hospice/end of life care (Repositioning every hour, hand feeding, massages, cooking packs, frozen bone broth snacks on warmer days, the list goes on) Pets and animals deserve to be spoiled but most importantly, they deserve to be loved. I have a white fur baby (Minnie). Shes a loyal, sweet and well behaved dog, I’m so lucky and thankful for her every day as she brings me so much happiness. She stays at home with her other best friend, my significant other while I’m away. I work M-F through a nearby school, being able to provide supervision to animals while I am home. About: I have 2 dogs and have raised animals my entire life. My dogs currently live on my property in upstate NY. My full attention goes into playing and watching the safety of my clients pets. I Worked as a dog handler in NYC at Bath & Biscuits. I love doing this. Currently working part time. I make my schedule and have amazing availability. About: I’ve taken care of numerous types of dogs for friends and family since I was 13. I trained my puppy and love playing with dogs of all ages. I currently work from home, which allows me to give your pets the attention they need during the day! I’m at home full time Monday-Friday and am available on weekends. My dogs are uncrated and allowed to be outside in my unfenced yard, though I usually go out with them. For peace of mind, I’ll take your pets out on a leash or a runner. In your home, I can do whatever you’d normally do.

About: I have helped take care of my family dog for as long as I could take him for walks by myself. I have loved animals all my life, which led me to major in Animal Behavior. At school, I helped to train and care for capuchin monkeys, administering medication and providing enrichment. This will be my main job, so I will have plenty of time to fit into caring for your pet. About: I've taken care and rescued all sorts of animals from guinea pigs to giant pitties. I have been in rescue for about 9 years. It comes out of pocket, but if I don't save them or help who will? I am also good at medication injection and oral administration of medication as well. I can do walks, check in's, doggy day care, house sit, etc. I will accommodate your needs for your furbaby. I am not afraid of bigger dogs as most people might be. I think of them as giant teddy bears. I will send plenty of updates and pictures as I know leaving your furbaby with a stranger can be absolutely nerve wrecking. Whatever makes my customer happy I will be more than willing to meet their request. Just give me instruction, your furbabies name, any allergies, medications, walk/yard time and frequency, feeding schedule, and any other information you see fit and I guarantee your precious furbaby will find a new friend! I am currently employed part time and in school part time this semster over at Johnson College for Veterinary Nursing. My schedule is pretty packed, but I will make accommodations with you to accommodate the needs of your furbabies or ones with scales. I moved in March of last year so boarding at the new place might be a bit busy. I do have enough room to accommodate at least 3 dogs. I don't have a fenced in yard at my apartment however I love to take them on long walks. I have walked dogs of all sizes. Super tiny to 100+lbs. I also have my own pupper Krypto so if boarding at my home please make sure your dog is other dog friendly as well as cats. I have 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 rat and a goldfish. If you are looking to board in my home I suggest a meet & greet to make sure your furbabies and mine are safe for their stay. I care for my clients furbabies like they are my own. I make sure the furbabies are happy and healthy. I will make sure my clients needs and wants are met. If you need me to watch them at your house, your house will be treated like my home. I will make sure your home is like you left it. I love to send updates because I know leaving your furbabies is really nerve wrecking.

About: I’ve had animals since I was a child, and have always grown up around them. I have a big heart, and love making sure your animals are cared for and comfortable when you can’t be with them. I’m currently working day shift in the Scranton/Clark’s Summit area. I would be available over nights, after work, including weekends. Living in the Clarks Summit area means I will be able to commute well for drop in visits, walks and any other needs you and your pets have. I currently have two dogs and one cat. Elliott is approx. 6 years old, Juniper is 7 months old and Neville is around 7 years old. Meet and Greets are a must if the client wants to try to board in my home as I have to make sure all animals will get along.

About: Aside from over 20 years of experience caring for my own family pets, I have majored veterinary science, have worked in a veterinary clinic, and have previously provided foster care for sick, injured, malnourished, pregnant, nursing, and infant dogs. As such, I am able to handle any situation that may arise with your pet. I am comfortable administering medications and treatments if needed. I am willing to provide basic grooming services such as bathing, brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning for an additional fee. I enjoy spending time outdoors, so you can be confident your dog will have plenty of walking and outdoor play time with me. I am happy to care for a wide variety of pets, not just dogs.
