About: I love animals and have always had cats and dogs for pets. My last pet, a dog named Colby passed 2 years ago and I am still so heartbroken I have not yet gotten a new dog because I am afraid of going through losing a pet again. I feel that sharing my love and caring for someone's dog will clear that worry from my mind and open me up to adopting a new best friend. I am retired so I will be home 24/7 to care for the dogs. I have a big yard so dogs in my care will get plenty of exercise and fresh air. I also have a deck so we'll be able to relax and have a snack in the sunshine. I own my home and it sits on an acre of land so there is plenty of room.I am retired so I am home 24/7. There are really not too many restrictions in my house. I usually close a few doors to other rooms so I know what and where the dog is doing at all times.

About: I have extensive experience with caring for dogs, cats, horses, and reptiles. I have 9 years of pet sitting experience, as I've been pet sitting since I was fourteen years old, and haven't stopped since. I love animals of any size or personality or quirk - they're all worthy of love and attention in my eyes! However, those who know me know that I have a soft spot for dogs :) Neighbors, friends and family members have all trusted me to feed, walk and care for their precious fur-babies. I currently work from home three days a week and have a very flexible schedule, making it super easy to bring my work to the home I sit for and attend to your pet's needs. I spend my days off participating in volunteer work mostly in the mornings, but I always ensure to be back in time to take care of them. I am unable to board at my house but am more than willing to drop in or stay at yours :)- whatever makes you and your pet feel most comfortable! In both cases, I make sure to follow pet parents’ instructions very carefully. I will ensure that all areas that we are playing or walking in are either fenced in or they are always leashed. When I’m away, they can be crated if needed and I will ensure they are let out before I leave. Pets in my care are always supervised. I make sure to regularly check on them when things seem too quiet, and am attentive to food, water, and potty needs. I provide a comfortable and familiar environment for your pet, sticking to their regular routines. I also give lots of attention and love to keep them feeling safe and happy. After years of house sitting, I am also used to existing respectfully in someone else’s space. I am tidy and always try to make your home as clean as it was when you left before I leave. I am a quiet neighbor and will ensure that all doors are locked/security systems are set when needed. I make sure to stay in constant communication with you, sending updates and photos so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is in great hands!

Me and my boyfriend Jerry just started rover together ( i have had an account with rover for a little over 5 years i did rover on a side years ago and also worked for my sisters dog walking business in the city as well!! ) We’re a reliable, animal loving couple with years of experience caring for pets. We both grew up with family dogs and currently have two cats together ! ( no dogs yet unfortunately until we move into an apartment that allows us to 😔) one we’ve had for over two years and another we recently fostered and welcomed into our home a little over 3 months ago .
