“Janie is fantastic!! She watched our three sweet guinea pigs while we were on vacay for 10 days and did a terrific job. There's a lot to taking care of them and she handled it all with ease, love and care! They were so well taken care of, and we got so many cute pics and updates, that we were able to relax and enjoy our vacation to the fullest knowing our piggies were having a fun time with Janie at home.”

About: I've taken care of many pets in my lifetime, including pet and house sitting for family and friends. I love most animals (snakes scare me). I live in the last house on a dead end county road and have plenty of room for animals to play and have fun. Plus, my kids and our pets will have fun visiting and playing with your pets. I currently work weekends only as a RN. I am home Mondays-Thursdays. I do have 3 kids of my own, so I do have to get them to and from school. We have a large yard for pets to play. Dogs will always be on leashes as our yard is in currently fenced. We live in the last house on a dead end country road, so no cars come past our home. I can easily crate your pet if needed. We have a friendly female dog and 3 friendly cats.

About: i’ve taken care of animals since i was very young! from volunteering in animal shelters, to working and volunteering at an exotic petting zoo, to working at rural king and being the main pet care employee, there isn’t an animal i wouldn’t love to take care of and bond with! I am starting a new job that is 5 days a week, from 6am-3pm. dogs at home are my roommates but on my days off i enjoy lounging and bonding with them, spending time outside to run around. i have a relatively flexible schedule with my pets, but they are always the top priority I always go by whatever list or rules needed for another pet owners animal. always ask questions and never assume what they can have or can do.

Natasha S.

“Natasha was such a blessing to us. She really cared about our girls. She gave them extra love and attention while we were away. We Highly reccommend her.”

Tasha C.

“Friendly with great communication. Tasha met before visit to get familiar — and did a great job letting us know when she was checking-in and how pets were doing!! I would highly recommend Tasha if you live in the local area and plan to travel!”

Mayra V.
“I can’t say enough great things about Mayra. She treats my pets as if they were her own and always goes above and beyond for my girls. I never have to worry when I leave them with Mayra as I know they are in good hands. Her working in the veterinary field eases my mind as well as I know she truly cares for animals and knows exactly what my pets need.”

Brett C.
“I let Brett stay at my house with my 2 cats while I was on vacation in Arizona. He did such a great job making sure they were fed and entertained, and even made sure I came home to a clean space.”

Jaime W.

“Jaime, Was very prompt responding to requests and questions. Was on time and very good with the dogs. Sent us a message when leaving at the end of the evening. Would highly recommend.”

Correy E.

“Correy helped me when he had little time to spare. My old dog can sometimes make messes, but everything was clean, neat and tidy when I arrived home. Correy is super nice and he was so helpful to me, even though he had to stretch himself to squeeze my pet needs into his busy schedule. I highly recommend Correy. He's professional and nice in every way.”

About: I love all pets! From energetic to shy and scared. In all seriousness though, I’m quite the fetch. I’ve owned pets all my life. I know how to properly handle them. I work full time, so I don’t have many “rover walks” under my belt, but I’ve got plenty of experience with all kinds of breeds, shapes, and sizes in my lifetime. Also, I have a wag profile too, I have many walks on that app, but I am relatively new to the rover app. I love to stop and smell the roses with the pups, but also run with the big dogs! I will always make sure to to follow all of your instructions to love your fur baby perfectly! I’m currently working full time, so I’m only available after 3pm, but after that I’m available the rest of the day to give your dogs play! I live in a huge 3 floor 3 bedroom apartment/townhouse, we have a shared backyard space, it is not fully fenced in, so the pup would need to be on a leash outside at all times. In the house however, the pup can play wherever they please. At night I usually just let the pup have it’s own bedroom, because we have a spare room. I do not own a crate, but would be willing to use one if provided by the owner.

Mia R.
“Mia is amazing with dogs, she helps me take care of my blue heeler goose all the time while at college. She has been great with him and he always enjoys being with her.”

Taylor J.
“Taylor has been working with animals for going in 5 years, and she is the best! She really cares for your fur baby, and treats them like her own. She has experience with anything/everything dog/cat related. I trust her with medication, staying at house and making sure they eat right.”

About: I have spent the better part of my adult life caring for dogs. I started working in kennels when I was 18. By the time I was 22 I had made a career out of it. I began training dogs in 2019. I started with basic obedience and over the years I have specialized in aggressive and reactive dogs, and I spent 1 year working with hunting/retrieving dogs. I pride myself on not just knowing the dog, but understanding their behaviors and how they think. Dogs have always made more sense to me than humans; I started working with dogs so that I wouldn't have to work with humans. However, over the years I've learned how to make great connections with people through their dogs. I've learned there is always some good in even the worst dogs, and there's always some good in even the worst humans. I try my best to engage with the good to overcome any struggles they may have. Pet care is my number one priority at this time. I recently left the hustle and bustle world of retriever dog training to start my own dog training firm. While I'm setting that up, I am devoting the rest of my time to pet care, hiking, rock climbing, and enjoying Bloomington. Safety is paramount to pet care. I make sure that I always have at least two doors between the dog and the outside world when they are off-leash; I use a 6ft leash when walking dogs so they can't run into the street; I never let the dog I'm handling be approached by a dog that I don't know; I do daily health check-ups on dogs in my care (head-to-tail check for any abnormalities such as weight-loss/gain, skin issues, bumps, contusions, etc). Second to safety, for me, is mental and physical stimulation. I make sure that the dog is receiving enough stimulation in their day (or walk) to keep them happy and healthy at home. This includes playing, walking, socialization, learning new things, and cuddle-time.

About: Throughout my entire life, I've been responsible for caring for pets. Both friends and family have entrusted me with the well-being of their beloved animals. One notable example is when my uncle was stationed in Korea, and I became the primary caretaker of his English Bulldog, Huckleberry, for a duration of two years while he was away. I am eager to extend the same affection and care to your furry companions! Presently, I am a full-time student at IU; however, my schedule allows me to offer overnight availability on weekends and provide dog walking services throughout the week. I am more than willing to adapt to your specific schedule, so please don't hesitate to get in touch with me. You can count on me to meet all the needs of your pets. Whether it's walking, letting them out, or simply spending quality time with them, I'm here to help. Trust is of utmost importance to me, and I fully comprehend the significance of our pets in our lives. Rest assured, I'll treat them with the utmost care and consideration.
