“Beth was amazing to have as our pet/house sitter, making our 10-day vacation stress-free! She's an excellent communicator, and both responsible and responsive regarding all facets of home and pet care. We have 2 young cats who can be a bit shy around new people- but they loved Beth immediately and are honestly probably bummed that we're back! The house was left in excellent condition as well (not that we expected any different, but just saying:). As I'm sure is the case with all pet owners, we're always a little anxious about leaving the cats for long periods of time but really had no stress about it whatsoever on this occasion. We will definitely look to book Beth or our next time away! Thanks again!”

“Sarah is amazing! She took wonderful care of our pups over the holidays. One of our dogs got very sick a few days before we were traveling, so we were very nervous about having to leave her. Sarah was very reassuring and handled everything magnificently! She kept track of all the new meds, feeding requirements and even took her to the vet for a follow up test. She sent us lots of updates and was really wonderful about communicating to calm our nerves. Most importantly, she gave our pups lots of cuddles, pets, love and care while we were away. We really can't recommend her highly enough!”
About: I have been an animal lover for life and a dog owner for two years. Before that I have been a dog sitter several times in the UK, where I am from. I have regularly cat-sit for a family, which included taking the little feline out on walks in her harness! I love doing training with my own dog, (who is steadily becoming more well behaved!) and would be happy to incorporate training into my visits with yours. I am a very active person and can play ball, run, and walk with dogs. I know the importance of mental stimulation. I am currently available most days, with the exception of Wednesdays. I am an artist and market vendor, and I am able to adjust my schedule much of the time to fit in with your needs. I am happy to walk dogs and do check-ins at your home. I am a careful and cautious person and will follow instructions given as closely as I can.
“Johnny was just fantastic!! So friendly and he kept in contact throughout my entire trip, sent video and pictures, watered plants and picked up mail! Will definitely ask again!!”

“Mandolyn was great with our pup! She engaged him mentally and physically and was a trooper keeping him occupied during several days of rain. She listened, followed instructions and takes her job seriously. Will definitely use her again.”

“Cassandra did a wonderful job taking care of our Foxy. She was incredibly patient and kind during Foxy's stay with her. We appreciated the updates and extra care she expressed during Foxy's stay. We would definitely recommend her!”

“William was great with my puppy. He sent pictures and even saved her from eating a plastic chew toy that was left behind at the dog park. He gives wonderful updates that makes you feel at ease. Repects the space and kept things clean. Will definitely book again!”

“Briana was amazing with all of my dogs. Two of them can be very timid and were very comfortable with her in no time. She helped me for two weeks and when I arrived home the dogs were all happy and healthy and my home was clean and tidy. Would highly recommend her!”

“Catalina took wonderful care of my pup! She stayed on top of his many medications, was great about keeping me updated on how he was doing, and made extra sure to keep him feeling calm and safe during fireworks. Thank you!!”

“Anastasia was so great! She watched our dogs last minute and totally put our minds at ease. We are genuinely looking forward to our next trip since we know our dogs will be in good hands.”

About: Pets have been part of my caregiving life for decades. Through years of in-home care for elderly and ill clients, I’ve walked, fed, and loved countless dogs and cats — including seniors and pets needing medication. I treat every animal with the same patience and attention I give people. My daughter Summer is also a Rover sitter, and from time to time we co-sit for each other on longer bookings, always arranged and agreed upon with the pet parent in advance. As a retired caregiver, I have a flexible, open schedule and can give your pet consistent, reliable attention. I’m generally available most days and will work with you to find timing that aligns with your travel plans. I specialize in both short and longer-term overnight house and pet sitting. When I’m in your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I’d give my own. With years of experience managing households, I follow your pet’s routines, administer medications if needed, and keep everything safe, clean, and calm. Your home will be just as you left it, your pet even happier.
“I cannot say enough good things about Gabriel. We met with our dogs, to see how they would be together and he and I talked about the weekend I needed puppy-sitting. Instead of either staying at his apt or mine, because she is a very recent rescue, I asked if he could keep her at his place during the day but then have all 3 of them come and sleep at my apt at night. I did this so that she would know that even if she gets dropped off somewhere else, she is ALWAYS coming back to her home. This worked out very well and he is just the most caring person when it comes to our dogs. I don't travel very often, but I would like to confirm that he is a magnificent pet sitter and I hope he gets lots of business because he deserves all good things!!!”

“Carolyn is wonderful! She instantly made us feel at ease, knowing our animals and home would be taken care of while we were out of town. We already have her booked for another stay. Highly recommend!”

“Chloe did an amazing job with 5+ animals and our home! Her communication was consistent and everyone was happy and settled when we returned home! Will definitely try to get Chloe whenever we can!”

“Lynsey is wonderful! She provided loving care for our dog and parrot for 10 days in October 2022. We especially appreciated her regular updates including photos. Thank you again, Lynsey!”

“WOW!!! Grant exceeded all of our expectations. He watched both our house and our pups with great care. As for the home, it was in better shape than when we left it. Never expected for a young man to mop our home. Amazing. As for the dogs they were extremely happy and comfortable. My only complaint is the dogs now have higher expectations for me. He walked with them and taught Enzo to run with him. Now they demand more and better exercise. Grant was phenomenal and we highly recommend him. Mature beyond his years.”

About: I have years of experience pet and house sitting while traveling, with excellent reviews from all families I have worked with. I had a boxer dog for 12 years, unfortunately she passed last year, but I am experienced with bigger dogs and nervous breeds. I currently have two cats and know cat care and leash training for cats. I work from home mostly, so I bring my laptop and instrument to the space. Your pet will be with me most of the time or supervised. In your home i offer walks in nature and your neighborhood. At least 2 walks a day and at least 2 hours of outside time during their stay.
“Alicia connected extremely well with our dog and took great care of him while we left town for the weekend. She was able to administer medicine successfully. She also communicated with us throughout the weekend, sending pictures and updates of how much fun they were having. She stayed the weekend to give our elderly dog extra support and took great care of the house by cleaning up after herself. We are thankful that we met and found someone who is respectful and cares so much for our dog.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 580 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Worley. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Worley walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Worley maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Worley choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Worley. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
