About: I have been an animal lover for life and a dog owner for two years. Before that I have been a dog sitter several times in the UK, where I am from. I have regularly cat-sit for a family, which included taking the little feline out on walks in her harness! I love doing training with my own dog, (who is steadily becoming more well behaved!) and would be happy to incorporate training into my visits with yours. I am a very active person and can play ball, run, and walk with dogs. I know the importance of mental stimulation. I am currently available most days, with the exception of Wednesdays. I also have a secure cat stroller for any adventurous cats who can easily be scared outdoors by dogs or other animals, which I love to take them for short walks in as long as they are comfortable.

About: Hey all, I’m currently an animal care professional at an animal hospital handling boarding and some grooming and I’m currently in grooming school, I’m beginning to take clients of my own if interested! I’ve worked with sheltered animals, horses, livestock and strays my whole life. I’ve fully potty trained several dogs including my 8 year old abuse rescue becky, I love grooming in my free time and am training to become an apprentice groomer. So currently I’m free on weekends and whenever my shifts change weekly. I can do overnights on weekends normally I offer lots of social engagement with pets during house visits. I spend a lot of time working with dogs to understand their behavior and what if any anxieties they might be facing so I can calm them down and engage them in stimulating activities that help them relax and sleep well, or get out extra pent up energy

Instead of either staying at his apt or mine, because she is a very recent rescue, I asked if he could keep her at his place during the day but then have all 3 of them come and sleep at my apt at night. I did this so that she would know that even if she gets dropped off somewhere else, she is ALWAYS coming back to her home. This worked out very well and he is just the most caring person when it comes to our dogs. About: Rescuing dogs — especially puppies — is the most rewarding feeling in life. The most important thing with our furry friends is consistency. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Currently working for a fire department, schedule can be inconsistent. Great for drop in play times and walks. Days off from fire department can be great for unexpected care. Currently unable to have pets in home due to renting rules. Will make sure to confirm and follow all rules with you before accepting the job.
