About: Since childhood, I've been trusted to look after other people's pets. I grew up with dogs of my own, as well as animals of all kinds, so I have a lot of experience with pets of all personalities and temperaments. I also worked with a vet for three years, have a biology degree with an emphasis on animal science, and have a special needs pet myself, so I'm confident giving medications, maintaining any recovery care, or whatever else your dog may need. I'd love to be friends with your pup! I am self-employed and currently work from home most of the week, so I have some flexibility when it comes to scheduling! I am available for drop-in visits or walks Monday-Friday. As all of my services will take place in the client's home, I will follow any instructions that the client gives me in regards to pet care. It is my goal that your pet's routine is as uninterrupted as possible.

“Caroline was an excellent caretaker for my cat, Penny! She fed Penny, groomed her, gave her medicine, and played with her. I loved getting photos and updates while I was away, and I could tell my cat was very well taken care of. I would book Caroline again, and I recommend her to anyone in the area looking for a cat sitter.”

“Linda is Awsome! She takes care of my pets like they are her own. Even my very skittish cat has warmed up to her! Very attentive to their needs and leaves my house cleaner than I left it. 😁”

“Dawn is the best! Another successful family vacation without a worry for our cat. She sends detailed updates and pictures, which are always appreciated. I highly recommend her and will look to book with her if we need a sitter again. Thank you, Dawn!”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for 3 years, used to watch my neighbors, I enjoy doing things your pet loves and enjoys whenever needed. I work part time as a Vet Tech at Calvert Animal Hospital, looking to make a little extra money and I can come when you need me to, I get off usually around 7. Although my pet is not as friendly with others, I can easily separate the two while still tending to both. I will let you know if there is ever a problem but I’m sure there won’t be.

“Sara did a wonderful job taking care of my cats while we were away. She sent me pictures everyday and a message on how they were doing. Sara has a special something because my cats usually run off when someone pulls up to the house. Not when Sara showed up. She even pet my super shy cat. Thank you Sara for taking such good care of them. I could relax in my vacation.”

“Christy is Fantastic! I recently started a new job that requires me to be in the office more often, and the thought of entrusting my beloved Charlie to someone I didn’t know caused me a lot of anxiety. Thankfully, that anxiety melted away during our meet and greet with Christy. From the moment we met, I could tell she would be a great caretaker for Charlie during her weekly drop-in visits—and I was right! Last week went wonderfully. Christy sent me photos during each visit, which not only brought me joy but also reassured me that Charlie was happy and well-cared for. Charlie, who is naturally shy and not used to strangers, warmed up to Christy much faster than I expected. Christy made her feel comfortable and at ease in no time. I’m so relieved to have found such a reliable and caring person to look after Charlie, and we’re both looking forward to many more visits with Christy!”

About: For as long as I can remember, I have had animals in my life & have helped take care of them. From a young age, I helped my parents take care of our cats & dogs by being responsible for feeding them & making sure they have access to clean water. As I entered elementary school, I helped my parents take care of our neighbors pets while they were out of town & then eventually took over these responsibilities on my own. Most of my expereince throughout elementary, middle & high school involved pet sitting for cats as those are the animals most of my neighbors & extended family members had. However, during my first summer in college I began working for my county's humane society! My county's humane society only rescues & houses dogs. My employment with the humane society gave me the opportunity to work with a variety of different dogs as you can imagine. I now have expereince working with & caring for dogs of all breeds, ages & temperment. During my time with the humane society, I developed special skills including taking care of puppies, caring for senior dogs, & interacting with dogs who have temperment quirks. I have worked for the humane society for 4 years & during this time animal rescue & care has truly become my greatest passion. I look forward to applying the expertise I have acquired when it comes to taking care of your furry family members! I just recently graduated from college & am now back home for a few months before I start my career. I am currently working part time so I will have plenty of time & flexibility when it comes to caring for your animals. I will make the most of the areas you have accessible to your pets when caring for them. My work at the humane soceity gave me valuable training when it comes to recognizing & responding to emergencies if they were to arise.
