“Judy took such good care of our babies while we were out of town. We have 2 dogs, a cat and a bearded dragon. She is so compassionate and took the extra time with my gentle giant who is afraid of everything. We were at ease knowing our pets were in caring hands. We will gladly have Judy look after our babies again!”

“Rebecca took wonderful care of our two kitties while we were gone for the week. Very trustworthy and kept in contact daily. Would definitely recommend her and have her pet sitter again!”

About: I started dog sitting in college, and now, four years later I have become the go to person for a number of friends, family and more. I'm currently between school programs, with ambitions toward grad school. I have a lot of free time on my hands and want to do something more useful, why not make it fun as well. I'm big on actually spending time with your pets, whether it's taking them out to play around or just sitting around with them while they rest. I will always take into account how you normally take care of your pet and do my best to keep them on their regular routine.

“Hillary was super amazing with our cat. She was very dependable and flexible with us in scheduling and our cat came out for cuddles with every visit which is rare for her. I'm so happy to have found her and will look forward to using her services again in the future.”

“Jessica was absolutely amazing with our dog Java. We needed someone in a pinch to watch Java for about a week and we are soo glad we found Jessica. She came over for a quick meet and greet and we knew it would be the right fit. We will definitely be using her in the future!”

About: I have had animals all throughout my life (mostly dogs and cats, but I did have a bunny for a little bit). I currently have 3 fur babies myself, 1 dog and 2 cats, that are my babies! I love animals and am totally that person that is more likely to say "hey" to a dog than to a human! lol! My dog is 4 and has anxiety. We have done a lot of training to help with her anxiety, so I am used to dealing/working with dogs that have anxiety. I also am comfortable around dogs of all sizes (in my family we have a Pug, Great Dane, Chocolate Lab, Silver Lab, Australian Sheppard, and Boxer mix). Have no fear, your fur babies will be in great hands and will get lots of snuggles! I currently work full time Monday-Friday, but I have a little flexibility as long as I give my management a heads up. Availability: Monday-Friday: before 8am and after 5pm Saturday & Sunday: All day I fully understand that each animal is different and may have specific needs. I also understand the importance of being consistent with schedules or commands. I will follow directions provided and respect your requests. I will treat your fur baby(ies) like they are my own with respect facilitating an environment of trust.

About: I’ve grown up caring for a variety of dog breeds and ages. They’re all deserving of quality and consistent care that I can provide. Count on me! I’m a homemaker with a flexible schedule for you. I’m available for morning walks, afternoon check in, evening walks and whatever else your fur baby needs. I am attentive to my elder dog’s needs making sure to provide assistance as she walks up and down our stairs. When doing in home visits I am respectful and mindful to leave the home as it was when I arrived.

“Megan took excellent care of my Kitty girl! Kitty doesn’t take to strangers quickly but Megan took the time to gain her trust and make her feel comfortable! So grateful for her care. Thanks again Megan!”

“We liked Terri so much after a week of walks that we hired her again for a few more days! Our greyhound was very happy and comfy when we got home. Terri sent us photos almost every visit. We will definitely be using her again. We recommend!”

“Jenny has been amazing from the very beginning. I booked her for a few months while I have a gap in my regular care. We have 4 dogs 2 labs, boxer lab and a corgi. She does amazing with all of them especially one of my high anxiety labs who barks at everything and everyone for hours on end. She was calm.around Jenny within a half hour of meeting her which is huge and what is what really sold me on her. We have land and an in ground fence which everyone functions well with. We have extra feeding and behavioral needs which she has been VERY respectful of and attentive to. Even the one day where there was a flare of tempers between two of my dogs by no fault of her own she handled everything beautifully. She is very easy going and easy to trust. I am so glad I found her and she was going to be one of my go toos for as long as she will have us!”

About: Hi my name is Fran. I’m a stay at home Mom in Mt. Airy with a 2 year old and 5 year old and infant. We live on 5 acres, all fenced, across from the state park and in addition to 2 dogs have horses, chickens, and barn cats. Both me and my husband have owned dogs all our lives, as well as worked in animal care. Professionally, i have experience as a barn manager, dog groomer, dog walker, trainer, and dog handler. I boarded dogs while attending college in Richmond, and took a break to focus on my career. Now that I have more free time I’d like to start up again as I absolutely love it!!!! I care greatly about dogs and make sure that they are well taken care of with plenty of love and exercise. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all of my life. As a little kid my childhood dog was my constant companion and when I wasn't with him I was with the neighbors' dogs. In my twenties I moved to Alaska where I pursued a career in dog mushing and for two years lived with 120 dogs! Unfortunately due to frostbite I had to move back to the east coast. Meet my pets I have 2 dogs, Cash an Australian Shephard and Littles a mutt. Both love to play!! Cash is a puppy and will play all day long!! He loves every dog he meets. Littles is 14 and recently lost his sight, he’ll try and keep up with Cash but mostly he just loves to sleep. I also have 2 horses, Shadow and Dandy in their late twenties, too many chickens, and a barn cat. About my yard I live on five acres across from Patuxent State Park. We have a huge fenced in backyard, with lots of trails in walking distance! My experience administering medication Yes I have no problem administering medication. I’m currently a stay at home mom and almost always home so your dog will never be left alone for long periods of time!! My 5 year old is great with dogs and will give your animals plenty of love and attention!!! We have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run! Your dog will be let out frequently and get plenty of exercise!! I try and take the dogs for a long walk at least once a day. Your dog will have free roam of the house, but we are more than happy to crate if you provide one. Our dogs eat in the am and pm, however we can accommodate your dogs feeding schedule.

“I asked Fran to babysit my puppy Misha while I went out of town for a week(she's six but she's a puppy to me). She impressed me when she first arrived and immediately had a rapport with my babbies . She had her in her lap in minutes curled up in doggy heaven getting petted. I have never seen her take so quickly to a stranger. I swear by the end of the week you would have thought that she had known her for years. She is the best dog sitter I have ever had. She was respectful and polite and I will definitely hire her again in the future. Also my babbies didn't pick up any bad habits while she was sitting. I've had sitters in the past that Misha would tug on her leash after they sat her, and she also started begging after this one sitter. After Fran took care of Misha she was perfect with the leash and was just as well behaved as normal. She just seemed happy and energetic at the end of the week.”

Nadia L.

“Nadia came and let our dogs out for us when we had to work late one day. Great communication and no issues with our pups.”
