“It was too wet/rainy outside to walk Gidget, but I kept the appointment time anyway. I wanted to start once a week walks for Gidget to get used to seeing Katie around before house sitting for us. Hubby said that she took the time to get to know her and vice versa. Very pleased with Katie.”

“I highly recommend having Jane as a dog walker! She is quick to respond to messages and great at communicating. I loved that she sent me pictures of my dog on their walk and kept me updated on how she was doing while I was at work. She was great with my little corgi! Both Poppy and I are looking forward to using Jane for more dog walks to come!”

“Kaitlyn was AMAZING with my dog Mina. Mina is on the older side and has trouble walking sometimes. She took her time with her and Mina got a full walk. I cannot thank Kaitlyn enough for her care and compassion for Mina.”

“Derek was great with Jasper. He was able to assist us with walking him on short notice, and was very responsive and communicative. I would recommend Derek to anyone who needs their pup walked!”

“I was particularly apprehensive about choosing a dog walker for my rescue dog. Molly is high anxiety, a result of her abusive history. I’d used the same dog-walker for three years, since first adopting Molly. She was a college student whose class schedule ultimately clashed with her dog-walking schedule, leaving me to find someone new. I interviewed several candidates, ultimately choosing Kala because she clearly showed an understanding of how best to interact with anxious rescue animals. Molly took to her quickly, so I’d say that Molly chose Kala! Kala has been great! She’s kind, patient, and understanding with Molly’s quirks. Molly seems to really love her, which obviously makes it easier for me when I have to be away from her. I would highly recommend Kala, particularly for those with very sensitive animals. I can’t say enough good things about her.”

About: Amelia Massey Chorlton Introduction: Hello, my name is Amelia Massey Chorlton. I have extensive experience with dogs, having cared for them practically my entire life. From raising our family dog Daisy, a Golden Retriever, until her passing due to old age, to currently running a doggy daycare from my home, dogs have always been a significant part of my life. Professional Experience: I recently left my position as a manager at a doggy daycare, where I worked for three years, to focus on working from home. During my time there, I gained valuable experience in understanding and managing various dog behaviors and deepened my love for all types of dogs. In addition to my daycare management experience, I have also managed an intellectual disability group home, a position I also left to work from home. Personal Experience: I currently own four dogs of various sizes and two cats. I live in an in-law housing situation owned by my mother, which allows me the flexibility to separate dogs as needed. If required, I can crate my dogs and cats, ensuring that your pet will never have to meet mine if that’s your preference. Facilities: • My home features a fully fenced backyard that is divided into sections, allowing me to separate my dogs from visiting dogs while keeping everything securely fenced. • The backyard provides plenty of shade, a kiddie pool, and access to the garage, which is equipped with water bowls, food bowls, beds, toys, and is climate-controlled with both AC and heating for the colder months. Services: • The option to separate dogs or provide solo sitting for dogs with reactivity or behavioral issues. • Experience with senior dogs, puppies, and behavioral dogs. • Years of experience training my own and other dogs. • CPR trained and capable of administering medication to dogs that need it. Please consider me for your next dog-sitting needs. I am passionate and dedicated, and I promise to put my all into caring for each and every dog that comes into my home. Thank you for your consideration! I work from home, allowing me to maintain a very flexible schedule. I am available for dog sitting, dog boarding, dog walking, cat sitting, cat boarding, and drop-in visits as needed. Additionally, I offer complimentary dog walking services when you book boarding at my home. In my home, I ensure pets are cared for in a safe and comfortable environment. When the weather is pleasant, the dogs can enjoy free access to the backyard, where they can roam freely and even jump in the kiddie pool if they wish. The garage is always open during the day, allowing them to move in and out as they please. On particularly hot or cold days, the backyard is only open for potty breaks. During these times, the dogs stay indoors, with the dog door remaining open for them to access their crates, beds, or toys. This setup ensures they can always find a comfortable spot to relax and play!

About: I’ve done rescue work on the side for a cat shelter, including medical fostering. I’ve worked for an emergency/specialty vet as a technician assistant. I have several reoccurring clients on & off of here. Love all pets! I have a 3 legged kitten and have done specialized care for kittens with eye issues and bottle fed kittens. I have no issues giving meds or helping with prescription diets. I have experience with bearded dragons and other reptiles as well. I can always send pics of my work! My labradoodle and his siblings somehow manage to befriend every dog we take care of and we always love new friends! I have plenty of references besides what is on here as well and there’s some before & afters of foster kittens I’ve done medical stuff with. I have 4 dogs of my own, a dorkie, a chihuahua, a labradoodle and a goldendoodle - we stay very active all the time. Walks, treats & playing, and my labradoodle loves to swim! My Labradoodle enjoys visiting people and it’s not uncommon for us to venture out just for a pup cup or a ride around town. I also have my rescue cats who I love! I’ve worked for an emergency/specialty vet along with a general practice vet and am always trying to further my education! Everyone is always leashed and I take my time depending on the animals abilities/etc when walking or playing. I’m more than familiar with litter boxes and etc and don’t mind spending time with pets. We always have time for socialization and visiting with people- I frequent some businesses that LOVE to see dogs!

About: I have three dogs of all ages in my home. One of 9, one is 3, and one is 6 months! All dogs all ages and sizes deserve all the love and attention. The trick to dog care is knowing the signs dogs give you. All dogs go at there own speed! I currently have lots of time on my hands therefore gives me a lot of time to get to know and love some fur babies! I believe all dogs are happier when active, weather that's playing fetch or a slow pace walk. Always make sure they get the play time they need and lots of treats of course!

“I’m very happy with the job Katelyn is doing and would definitely recommend her to anyone else. Katelyn has been sending me cute pictures from each walk and has an eye for the camera. She seems to genuinely care about the welfare of my puppy.”

About: Like many people, I've grown up being surrounded by pets and animals. So, what other path to take than to learn how to properly care for them? Every pet and animal deserves a special amount of attention and care based on their needs. Sometimes life becomes too busy with work or personal trips. Rather than judge you, I'm here to help you. Who says life has to stop being fun when you have responsibilities? There are ways to help yourself and I would love to be there to take one more thing off your mind. Not only am I understanding, knowledgeable, and caring, but I will ensure the absolute best for your pets as they are a part of your family. I work part-time to get myself through college, but with that, I have plenty of free time where I can look after your animals. I work online, so if you need me there for a few hours if your pet has anxiety (or just peace of mind), I can be there for a few hours. If you need me there in the early morning or late evening, I can make that happen. Besides my flexible schedule, I can primarily fit pet care into the evenings and early mornings. While Tuesdays and Thursdays are a little slim for me, I can help make it work for your pets for the right price. While I would love to care for your pets in my own home or yours, I have a lovely elderly dog who can not handle the stress of other dogs being around. However, I would be more than happy to commute to your home and look after your dog(s). All I require are the basic necessities to be provided for your dog, such as food and water supplies. If you would like me to walk your dog, then I would also require you to provide a leash and/or harness.

About: I've had animals in my life all 33 years, I love caring for dogs part time to assist others when they need a home for their dogs to relax in, or even in the comfort of their own home! I have cats, so I am VERY used to routine (otherwise I get a paw to the face!) All joking aside, I'd love to work with your animals on the weekends. I am very adaptable to your needs, and I am comfortable with animal care in any way/shape/form. I have several friends that I assist in caring for and can provide references if needed. Thank you.

About: Breed Knowledge: Understanding the specific needs of different breeds. First Aid & Medication: Knowing basic first aid and how to administer medications. Handling: Skill in managing dog behavior and ensuring safe play. Emergency Preparedness: Knowing what to do and who to call in an emergency. Balancing a demanding schedule with responsible dog ownership requires creative and proactive planning. Fortunately, a variety of dog care options can help ensure your canine companion receives the love, attention, exercise, and care they need, even when you're short on time. I always make time for my clients dogs as they are my top priority when they are in my care. I always make time for my clients dogs as they are my top priority when they are in my care. I always treat them with highest priority and make it a priority to keep them safe and secure in my care.

About: I have had a love for animal my whole life. I have had the opportunity to take of my friend's dogs. I would pet sit for my mother's dogs for years and gained lots of experience. I currently own a 2 year old, spade, Golden Doodle named Yumi with my girlfriend. I'm in-between jobs at the moment, so I will have plenty of time to care and play with your pups. My schedule is completely open. I usually walk my dog every 3-4 hours. There is plenty of yard space for play outside. Usually feeding is 2 times a day unless otherwise specified by the owner

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young. I personally have 3 dogs myself that I care for. I have always been the person people go to help out with their pets. I got out of the military 1 year ago and recently moved to connecticut with my fiance. From the 18th of December to 19 January I will be free any day of the week. I will be starting classes end of January and then my availability will change to only Wednesdays and Fridays. I will stop by your house to play with your pup or pups and make sure they get a walk in so they can get some exercise while you are out.

About: Hello! I'm Jenny. I've been around animals my whole life from growing up on a farm and owning my own horses to raising puppies and kittens. In 2013, I took and passed a vet-tech certification program through a local accredited college. Although some details may be out of dated the general practices remain the same. I will always respect your wishes as I know you care about your babies as much I care about mine. I also have experience with chickens, fish (tank & pond), horses, reptiles, small animals, and birds. I'm also a huge fan of gardening and plants. I work from home with a flexible schedule. I'm normal able to leave the house by 630/7 am and do a 'last out' (as we call it) at 930pm. And it's always nice to take a mid-day break for a walk. My animals have fairly loose rules but that's because we spent years training. How I care for your animals will be dependent on your requests. However, I would feel more comfortable walking your dog on a leash if you don't have a fenced in yard, and one at time. I'm always ready for snuggles and playtime!

Nicole R.
“Nicole loves animals. She helped me learn to give cats medicine at the cat shelter we both volunteered at, and showed great compassion and care towards these sick little ones. I honestly believe she will go above and beyond in caring for your dogs. Be it walking them, and/or caring for them in your home. Her compassion towards animals shows not only in her care, but also in how animals respond to her. She has a fantastic work ethic, never slacking, always putting the animals first. Her care and attention to detail saved two very sick kittens, who are now my daughter's wonderful companions.”

“I went for a two week vacation to poland to see family and I needed someone to watch my dog for the weeks so I ask around and Katherine accepted the task. She is always super friendly to me and my two dogs . I think she is the very best person to ask for anything. She texted pictures daily to let me know how they were acting. She is one of the best people who I can always rely on.”

Angelica M.
“Angelica watches my two dogs and two cats and five chickens whenever I travel. They are all absolutely obsessed with her, and she treats them like they are her own pets. Angelica has worked at a doggy daycare and is a dog whisperer.”
