Kristi has been nothing short of amazing with my boy. She genuinely cares about his well being, has reached out with concern when he wasn’t acting like himself, and has come to take care of him even through terrible weather. Highly recommend her!!

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and sizes - I grew up with Labs and took on dog sitting when I was 18. Now 23, I have 3 dogs of my own and care for them like they’re my children. I have experience with dogs from Labs to Corgis to Huskys - I also have experience in training my own dogs with a local program, so I am well versed in being a responsible care taker. My schedule is very flexible, I am in school for healthcare management and my classes are online. I have been very blessed with many recurring clients, so most days of the week, you can find me hanging out with their pets and I’d love to meet yours! In our home, we love to keep our dogs active and socialize them. We take them on short trips to Hocking Hills, play in the backyard and go on walks to the local park. In a client’s home, I am always considering the dog’s typical routine to keep them happy while their owners are away.

About: I have experience working at a local dog boarding facility, where I walked, groomed, and fed dogs of all breeds and sizes. I truly love animals and treat every dog with care, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for❤️ I am high school student attending school from 7:30 am - 9am everyday! Currently working part time at a restaurant, I typically work 11am-4pm but occasionally 4pm-9pm. I have plenty of time to take care of your furry friends! Im able to take your dogs on walks, play outside in your backyard, or even take car rides to the park! If they prefer the comfort of their home no worries I can make sure they get plenty of love and care from there as well! I didn’t forget about family’s with cats! I’d be more than happy to watch them too, I can give lots of love, pets, and treats!

About: Hi, I’m Amanda. I’m the owner of Unleashed Peaks, a full-time dog training and behavior coaching business built on calm communication, structure, and trust. Along with training, I also offer structured boarding and daycare in a peaceful, home-style environment where dogs can relax, play, and learn safely. Because I’m a trainer first, everything I do — from playgroups to potty breaks — is intentional. Dogs get enrichment, exercise, and clear routines that build confidence while keeping things fun and low-stress. I follow LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) principles to make sure every dog feels safe, understood, and respected. I love working with all types of dogs, especially those who need a little extra support or structure while you’re away. Whether your pup is here for the day or a full board and train, they’ll be treated like family. Quirks, goofiness, and all. My goal is simple: for you to come home to a happy, relaxed, and well-adjusted dog who’s had a fulfilling stay and maybe learned a few new skills along the way. I’m home full-time and spend most of my day working with dogs through my business, Unleashed Peaks. Because training and structured care are what I do every day, your dog is never left unattended for long and always part of a calm, consistent routine. Drop-offs and pick-ups are flexible - mornings and early afternoons usually work best, but I’m happy to coordinate around your schedule. Whether your pup is here for daycare or boarding, they’ll get a balance of play, enrichment, rest, and individualized attention throughout the day. Dogs in my care stay in a calm, structured, and enrichment-based environment that helps them feel secure and relaxed. My home is designed with safety in mind, with separate rest areas, and consistent supervision. We have 5 acres of land. Our fence is in progress right now but we have never had an issue! As a full-time trainer, I understand canine body language and group dynamics deeply. I make sure each dog’s play, rest, and social time match their comfort level. New dogs are introduced slowly and respectfully so they can settle in at their own pace. I keep routines predictable and communication clear so dogs always know what to expect. Whether they are here for a day or an extended stay, every dog is treated like family: safe, understood, and cared for.

Katarinna was absolutely wonderful with Moscow. I really enjoyed her personality and the way she handled Moscow when we did our meet and greet. Moscow is dog reactive which she has experience with, making me feel very comfortable leaving him in her care. She did exactly what I asked her to do and then some! I'm from out a town and she was the only person willing to watch him while I was visiting with some friends. I highly recommend her services and will book again with her if I lived in the area! Thank you Katarinna!

About: I've never not known having a pet! My parents got my first dog 2 days after I was born, and just like in The Secret Life of Pets, we were inseparable! Since then, I have owned several types of species of animals, and ever since I became a dad, my love for animals has grown. All of our friends joke that we run a zoo at our house, but I absolutely love watching the bond between my kids and our pets. We currently have 2 dogs, 2 red-eared sliders, and a hamster. I have experience caring for puppies/kittens, elderly dogs/cats, pregnant dogs/cats, aggressive animals, and animals who need medication administered. I can't wait to love your pet(s) as my own! I'm currently a real estate agent / stay-at-home dad with a very flexible schedule and multiple available sitters with a short notice. Don't be afraid to book last minute! We absolutely believe in the safety for our pets as well as others' pets. My wife and I have been on both ends of the spectrum of having a very obedient, friendly dog, as well as being the owner of a dog that is triggered by unfamiliar faces in human and non-human form! No matter the needs, I will work to achieve them!

About: I have pet sat and cared for dogs (and cats) since the age of 10. I am mostly experienced with larger dogs, so smaller animals won't be any issue. I’m a college student and am sticking around the area before christmas- my schedule will be wide open to care for pets as often as needed. I want to play with your pets as much as they want to play with me!!! I give pets a lot of attention, love, and care. About: I’ve had numerous pets throughout my childhood and adult life, including my current dogs, a Chihuahua and German Shepherd, and two indoor cats. Big dogs have my heart, but I love all dogs and have experience with all ages, breeds and sizes, crate and house training, slow feeder bowls, senior dog care, including doggy diapers, and administering medications. Whatever life stage you and your pup are in, I’m more than happy to assist! I currently work a consistent 8 hour shift Monday through Friday and am home by 4pm, so I’ll have plenty of time to spend caring for your pet. Your dog will have lots of attention and play time from my own friendly dogs, cat and teenager. I have an unfenced yard so we will always use a leash for outdoor time. There are near-by trails to walk just a short drive away and the dog park where we can play in the safety of a fenced area if everyone is ok with that. I can crate your dog if that is necessary as I have kennels for all sizes.

About: I worked for an AKC dog handler since 2011. 10 years grooming and training all sizes. From a Pomeranian to a giant Schnauzer. I have 1 dog and 5 cats. I am a very active person. I have had animals since I was little. To me they are a stress reliever. I can bathe and dry and trim nails and remove lose hair. I try to find things to do or in nature with my animals as much as possible. I'm 46 and my dog is 8. I am offering boarding and day care. I wake up at 7am for the day. Feed at 11am and let dog out as much as every 2-3 hours. I also will do a 30 minute leash walk down the road. Feeding playing with and making sure they are comfy before I leave. I also will text if I have a question about something I don’t know about their pet The picture on my profile is the spot where they’ll be boarded at during night and if your dog and mine don’t mix well your dog will be just have that whole room to himself with baby gates. I spend my day in front room which is only 3 steps away from that room.

About: I have 3-4 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, including daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, and making sure each dog feels safe and comfortable. I also worked at a kennel for a year, where I cared for multiples dogs at once, handled different temperaments, and kept up with structured schedules and cleanliness standards. What sets me apart is my ability to read a dog’s behavior and adjust my care to fit their needs. I’m patient with puppies who are still learning routines and boundaries, and I’m gentle and attentive with senior dogs who may need a slower pace, extra comfort, or closer monitoring. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and treat every dog like they’re my own—making sure they get not just care but attention and affection too. Pets care fits really naturally into my routine. I’m done with school by 1:00 PM every day, so I have the whole afternoon and evening available for walks, drop-ins, or sitting. I do work out a few times a week (Monday and Wednesday from 4:30-5:30 PM, and Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM), but outside of those times I’m very flexible. I’m able to give pets consistent attention, stick to their routines, and be fully present with them instead of rushing in and out. Whether it’s daily walks, check-ins, or longer stays, I have plenty of time in my schedule to make sure they’re all well taken care of. I care for pets by keeping their routine as close to normal as possible so they feel comfortable and stress-free. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed— and make sure they’re getting plenty of attention, not just the basics. I keep things clean, send updates/photos, and make sure your pet feels safe while you’re away.

Payton did so well with my 1.5 year old pup Murphy and our newest family member a 5m old puppy Benny! She took them for a nice long walk and made sure to play with them before she left! She also made sure to take my littlest one back out one more time so he could make it until we came home. We have been an anxious mess thinking about who can help is with our new puppy but it’s nice to know we found a walker we can count on !

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of June 2026, there are 1,901 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Woodstock. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Woodstock. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Woodstock.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woodstock. On Rover:

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
