About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and have always loved being around animals. I’ve cared for pets of different ages and personalities, from energetic puppies to older pets that need a little extra patience. I’m reliable, attentive, and I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of love, exercise, and care while you’re away. I work part-time, which gives me flexibility throughout the week for pet care. I do my best to keep my availability updated and will always communicate clearly about scheduling. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or extra attention while you’re away, I’ll make sure they receive reliable, loving care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll carefully follow your instructions for feeding, medications, walks, and routines to help your pet feel as comfortable as possible. I’ll treat your home with respect, send updates and photos during visits, and make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, love, and care while you’re away.

I’ll also make sure to keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I work a full time job but I am willing to leave in my breaks (1 hr break and if in the area) to come care for your animal! I am off at 5pm daily and completely free on the weekends I will not be able to care for animals inside my home currently, but I will come to you! I have 3 kitty’s in my home and they are all well fed, well played with, and cared for.

They will get all the love and attention that I would give my own ....and then some. I look forward to caring for your furred, feathered, hooved, and scaled family members real soon! :) My life and schedule is centered around my animals. I own a trailer rental company and can alter my schedule however is needed to make sure all animals in my care and on my schedule are well cared for. I care for my clients pets as instructed and love them as if they are my own. Animals rule the world here at the farm and are allowed on all furniture and beds. About: ASK ABOUT WHAT DISCOUNTS AND PROMOTIONS I CURRENTLY HAVE Hey, I’m sure you’re wondering “why should I let this guy near my precious animal?” or something or that nature. Well here’s some basic info for you. -I’m a pet owner of 2 absolutely adorable troublemakers that I’ve raised since they were kittens so I can keep animals alive for extended time. I’ve also lived with roommates who had their own pets and have plenty of experience caring for other peoples animals. -I use to work/volunteer at an animal shelter when I was in college for a year so I have a experience working one on one and with groups of animals -Friends and family always remark on how well I get along with animals and how much I absolutely love them more than humans -I am very cooperative/receptive with your pets needs and your wishes! It’s your pet so you’ll know more than me what they need when it comes to their care. Trust me as a fellow pet owner I know! -I’m always happy to answer questions before you’d like to use me so ask away! I work a full time job Monday through Friday, sometimes weekends, and on 3rd shift hours so my availability will be unfortunately restricted to morning hours, however I will try my best to be as available as possible! Sometimes I can work outside my posted availability but no promises, feel free to ask! I do special promotions and discounts as well, ask away! I’ll treat your pet as I would treat my pets. Try and give them a clean and safe environment, with plenty of food and water and a clean litter box.

About: Through word of mouth, I have had the pleasure to service dozens of families with pet care for the last 7 years; care including medical administration, long term care, overnights, feeding, walks, and plenty of love. Currently I am available for overnights in home as well as care throughout the day. I nanny on Mondays and Thursdays so if there is midday service needed those days, I can bring the kiddos as long as you are comfortable with children in your home and your fur babies are used to children and their play. I prefer taking care of pets in their home to reduce the anxiety and/or stress of a routine change. The more at ease and at home (get it?) your babies are, the better.

About: Hi! I’ve been caring for dogs, cats, and other animals since I was about 15 years old. I’ve always had a genuine love for animals and enjoy making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I also have experience working as a beginner-level dog groomer, which gave me even more hands-on experience with dogs and their individual needs. I’m patient, responsible, and caring, and I would love the opportunity to treat your pets like they’re my own! My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care\. I understand that every owner has different schedules and needs, and I’m willing to work around those schedules whenever possible\. My flexibility makes me a great fit because I can provide consistent, dependable care without rushing or leaving pets alone for long periods of time\. I’m happy to give each animal the attention, love, exercise, and care they deserve while their owners are away\. want every pet and pet owner to feel comfortable and confident when choosing me for their pet’s care. I provide a calm, clean, and welcoming environment where pets can feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. FAQs for Dog Walking - Mingo

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Mingo. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route, the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.

The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Mingo after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.

Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
