About: Lifelong experience caring for dogs, cats and a horse and studying psychology in college. I believe quality time for bonding, play and affection is just as important as food/potty breaks for pet happiness. The best part of pet sitting is the quality time spent with your pet after all the business is done! I have a flexible schedule so I'm able to make most times work. I can walk, feed, water, scrub bowls, medicate (comfortable administering oral meds to dogs and cats), clean up as needed, play with and generally whatever is needed to keep your pet on a regular schedule. We have 2 friendly smaller dogs and a dog door & ramp straight out to the fenced backyard. The house is one level with only 1 step in and out. There are crates set up in multiple locations and there are ways to separate animals safely if ever needed. Someone is home all day every day, pets are never kept without heat or AC.

About: Hi my name is Fran. I’m a stay at home Mom in Mt. Airy with a 2 year old and 5 year old and infant. We live on 5 acres, all fenced, across from the state park and in addition to 2 dogs have horses, chickens, and barn cats. Both me and my husband have owned dogs all our lives, as well as worked in animal care. Professionally, i have experience as a barn manager, dog groomer, dog walker, trainer, and dog handler. I boarded dogs while attending college in Richmond, and took a break to focus on my career. Now that I have more free time I’d like to start up again as I absolutely love it!!!! As a little kid my childhood dog was my constant companion and when I wasn't with him I was with the neighbors' dogs. In my twenties I moved to Alaska where I pursued a career in dog mushing and for two years lived with 120 dogs! Unfortunately due to frostbite I had to move back to the east coast. Meet my pets I have 2 dogs, Cash an Australian Shephard and Littles a mutt. Both love to play!! Cash is a puppy and will play all day long!! He loves every dog he meets. Littles is 14 and recently lost his sight, he’ll try and keep up with Cash but mostly he just loves to sleep. I also have 2 horses, Shadow and Dandy in their late twenties, too many chickens, and a barn cat. About my yard I live on five acres across from Patuxent State Park. We have a huge fenced in backyard, with lots of trails in walking distance! My experience administering medication Yes I have no problem administering medication. I’m currently a stay at home mom and almost always home so your dog will never be left alone for long periods of time!! My 5 year old is great with dogs and will give your animals plenty of love and attention!!! We have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run! Your dog will be let out frequently and get plenty of exercise!! I try and take the dogs for a long walk at least once a day. Your dog will have free roam of the house, but we are more than happy to crate if you provide one. Our dogs eat in the am and pm, however we can accommodate your dogs feeding schedule.

About: I've taken care of pet dogs for thenlast 15 plus years I owned 3 Rottweilers and competed them in the akc so I can take care of small or big dogs I currently work from home and am available all the time to take care of dogs and actually have the time to play and take care of the needs of the puppies or older dogs I have a fenced yard and are capable of taking great care of the pet I also would provide play time for them where they can play inside or outside

About: I had dogs since my childhood. I’ve always had a deep love for caring for pets. There’s something so fulfilling about the bond that forms when you provide a safe and loving home for an animal. The way they trust you, seek your comfort, and show their affection is incredibly heartwarming. It’s more than just feeding or walking them; it’s about understanding their needs, paying attention to their quirks, and being present in their lives. Pets have this beautiful way of making you feel needed, and in return, they offer unconditional love and loyalty. Taking care of them is a true act of love and companionship. It’s a reminder of how much joy can be found in the simple moments shared with them. I work remotely during the week (Monday-Friday). I will make sure to schedule regular breaks to address their needs and spend some time with them during the work hours also. After work, I take them on longer walks around the community or spend time with them in the backyard. I also have a large basement, so if there is inclement weather, or your dog is allergy prone, they can still stay active and get the exercise they need indoors. Me and my kids love working with dogs of all sizes. I have large fenced backyard and indoor space for your pups and we will engage with the pups during playtime. My 5 year old Labrador loves to play and will be a good company for your pup. The dogs are always supervised in our care. If your pup loves to explore on their own we can separate the pets giving them personal space. We live in a non-smoking home.

About: Does it make you sad to leave your dog in a kennel while you are traveling? We love dogs and all kinds of pets and would love to take care of yours while you are traveling or busy working. We offer pet boarding and daycare for small to large sized dogs! We often go hiking and running with the dogs we watch and make sure they get their daily exercise. We promise to treat your pet as if it was our own and to make sure your pet gets plenty love and attention! I am currently a stay-at-home mom, so the kids and I are always home and have lots of time to care for your pets! We love playing with the dogs and taking them on long walks. About: I've been a dog-mom to three very different dogs—a German Shepherd, a Rottweiler, and an Indian street dog rescue—over nearly 30 years. They were always part of the family, traveling with us across the world through military assignments and other moves. I've loved and cared for them through every stage of life, from their energetic puppy days to the challenges of old age, gaining plenty of experience with a range of personalities and needs. I recently said goodbye to Daisy, my loyal companion of 13 years, leaving a big hole in my heart. I’m currently not working and have very few time-bound commitments, making my schedule very flexible. I am available throughout the day and over the weekends. I live in a single family home with a small unfenced yard. I am in a residential community with plenty of space to walk and green areas. There are no other pets or kids in the house.

About: We have owned at least 2 dogs at any given time for the past 30 years and truly believe no home is complete without at least 4 paws. Our family currently has 3 dogs, with plenty of room for furry friend visitors in our 4500 square foot house and acre-and-a-half fenced in yard. I am a stay-at-home mom and my husband works from home so we are around the house at the beck and call of our dog guests 24/7. Our children have grown up with dogs of all kinds (we currently have a giant 3-year old male Great Pyrenees, a 14-year old mostly deaf female Bichon Frise, and a tiny 4 year old female chihuahua mix, who together have taught our kids how to be respectful and conscious of animals in all walks of life). That being said, for the safety of our household, we can only board dogs who are family-friendly. We are homebodies who enjoy staying in, so we are around and available nearly 24/7/365. We already care for our 3 dogs around-the-clock and would be honored to be trusted to add your dog to the mix as well. We have a fenced in yard to let dogs in and out on demand (which is already constant here anyway) and a laid back routine that can easily accommodate whatever else your pet might need. Our dogs are family members, and yours would be too for their entire stay with us.
