“Petra did an awesome job with our pups. As this was our first experience together, she came by a couple of times before our scheduled day so that she was totally familiar with Daisy and Chico's routine. She showed great empathy toward Daisy, who experiences great anxiety during rain events. She put the TV on for her in hopes some of the noice would be a bit of distraction. All in all the pups were well cared for, received all medications and seemed generally happy when we returned”

About: I’ve always had a genuine love for dogs and enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality and needs. I have experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs, including owning and caring for a senior dog myself. I also volunteered at an animal shelter, where I gained hands-on experience with dogs of different ages, temperaments, and energy levels. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I’m at work until 5:15 PM, but I’m available in the evenings afterward. Weekends are generally open and flexible unless otherwise noted. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and schedule to make sure they receive the care, attention, and consistency they’re used to. I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. I’m attentive to their surroundings, routines, and individual needs, and I make sure they’re supervised and in a secure environment. I’m also respectful of my clients’ homes and follow any instructions they provide regarding feeding, medications, walks, potty breaks, or other routines. Communication is very important to me, so I’m happy to send updates and photos to keep you in the loop while you’re away. I own and operate a preservation breeding program specializing in Giant Schnauzers, so daily dog care is already a major part of my life. I have extensive experience with puppies, large breeds, feeding routines, crate training, basic obedience, socialization, administering routine care, and recognizing changes in a dog’s behavior or needs. I’m home full time, which allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, supervision, exercise, enrichment, and individual attention throughout the day. I understand that every dog has a different personality and routine, and I work to keep their stay as comfortable and consistent with home as possible. I intentionally keep my boarding capacity limited so that dogs in my care receive personal attention rather than being one of many animals in a large facility. Safety, cleanliness, structure, and communication with owners are priorities for me. I’m comfortable caring for both small and large dogs and understand the additional handling and management needs of powerful breeds. Whether your dog is staying for a weekend or an extended vacation, my goal is to provide a safe, structured, comfortable environment where you can feel confident leaving them. Pet care is already part of my daily routine, so your dog will receive plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m home full-time and available seven days a week for boarding. My days include regular potty breaks, feeding, supervised playtime, exercise, enrichment, rest periods, and individual attention. I intentionally keep my boarding capacity limited so each guest receives consistent, personalized care. Safety, cleanliness, and structure are extremely important in my home. I have a secure fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and plenty of space for dogs to relax comfortably. Guest dogs are supervised and can be separated or crated when appropriate for their safety and comfort. I follow each owner’s feeding schedule, medications, routines, and care instructions closely. Introductions are handled carefully, and dogs are never forced to interact. My goal is to provide a clean, structured, loving environment where every dog feels safe and their owner has peace of mind.

About: I pride myself on having learned about dogs from a young age. Although I am no expert, I would say my knowledge about dog behavior and body language is above average! I grew up with German Shepherds so I am very comfortable with bigger dogs, but also love a small dog too :) I work full-time, but am available every Wednesday guaranteed. My work schedule varies since I work in retail but some days this allows me to be off of work before noon which would give me plenty of time to care for your pup midday. On the other hand, some days i don’t work until later afternoon times so I am available for early visits in the morning :) For those reasons I'm super flexible Having pets of my own, I understand that following their routine and schedule is important, so I will be punctual and follow any instructions left for me! Whether it’s on walks or just quick drop-ins, I hope to leave your pet as happy as can be!

I love animals and I always want to protect them as well. I have been around dogs since I was a little toddler. I have a long history with caring for dogs. As I got older and was in more and more activities, my parents thought it wasn't a good idea to have a dog anymore.
