I have been an adult caretaker of my family adult cats (medicine-administration, feeding, cleaning, loving). I have been a dog walker/cat care volunteer & supporter of local animal adoption centers for 10+ years taking a hiatus for Covid changes. Getting back into animal sitting with friends. Reiki energy practitioner offering calming, loving energy to your pets in client's home.

I am currently available for playing, jog/walking, visiting, feeding to provide regular care in the cat/dog(s)' home timely and easily. I have administered medicine for dogs or cats. I take dogs to offleash parks or to local trails or hikes depending on the comfort level of pets and/or parents. Have cared for variety sizes of dogs (Cane' corso, St Bernards to boxers to Chihuahuas); from so called "bully" breed mixes and have a lot of experience with variety of cats. Also have done bird, reptile care. I will water plants or bring in deliveries/packages/mail to keep home neat/tidy, appear occupied and maintain safety to the home.

Lori did a wonderful job caring for our two dogs while we were away. One of our dogs, Daisy, is easily anxious, and Lori spent plenty of time with both pups and was there to comfort Daisy when a power flicker upset her. Our senior dog, Chico, requires insulin injections twice a day on a strict schedule, so having someone we can trust to manage his care is extremely important to us. Lori sent us documentation each time she gave Chico his insulin, along with regular updates on the dogs throughout her stay. Those updates gave us tremendous peace of mind and allowed us to relax and enjoy our time away knowing our pups were being well cared for. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for dogs and would absolutely be happy to have Lori stay with them again
Lori is the best! We had a last minute need and she was able to help us out and do 2 drop in visits on our senior pups. We know our girls are in good hands with Lori!
This was a meet and greet, Lori was great. She asked all the needed questions. This was the first caregiver our Great Pyrenees immediately warmed up to. We feel very comfortable leaving them in Lori’s care.
Not quite sure how to fully explain the peace we find leaving our family pets in Lori’s care. It is so hard to leave them when we have to travel but Lori is such an amazing care giver, the dogs actually get super excited when they see her. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with their care, and it’s hard to imagine what we’d do without her.

Schedule
I am available for daytime, overnight stays with pets in animal's home for animal comfort. I sometimes need to be away 4 to 5 hours for home care projects. Want to know animals' regular routine & follow what they want to do: know bedtimes, bed practices, medications, play, exercise and food habits. If dogs usually go to park or enjoys walking, fetching, hiking or if they are more couch potatoes, I want to know. If there are multiple animals in same residence, I want to know if they eat in separate areas, if they get along well usually or not. If animals have special or favorite toys and habits to their day I'd like to know that during meet/greet.
