She patiently worked through it with him and kept me updated, kept in mind the hot weather and he’s a double-coated dog and he might poop out pretty quickly. My flight was delayed bringing me back home at 2am instead of 11pm and she even changed the sheets so I didn’t have to when I got there. I'm a little scattered with timing, but I'm solid when it counts—handling aggressive or reactive breeds with patience, zero judgment, and a deep understanding of what they truly need. It all started with my sweet dog Chip, who was killed just because he looked a certain way—despite his gentle nature. That heartbreak opened my eyes to how often people misunderstand dogs, confusing true aggression with fear-based reactivity. Through research, I learned this leads to pups not getting the mental and physical stimulation they crave, making things harder for them. Now, I specialize in providing just that: enriching, tailored activities to help them thrive safely and confidently. I share my Marietta home with Juzai, my leash-reactive German Shepherd mix, who had a challenging puppyhood before me. When Chip died, it traumatized him, leading to his fear-based reactivity toward strangers—but we've worked through a lot together. Plus, there's Baby, my well-balanced 1.5-year-old pit mix, who's a total sweetheart. Before them, I managed two pit bulls with real aggression issues—learning their triggers, reading body language, de-escalating tension, and building trust. That hands-on experience, plus my ongoing education, shapes how I care for challenging dogs. I'm pursuing my training certification and starting school for animal science, with a focus on companion animal behavior, to level up my skills. (Note: I focus on sitting, walking, or drop-in services—no boarding available.) .My Availability Schedule Midnight to 6-8am: Primary care window (with flexibility for night walks and playtime). 2-3pm: Midday check-in/drop-by (1-2 hours). 6-9pm: Evening check-in/drop-by (1-2 hours). Note: I never leave any dog alone for more than 6 hours, and schedules can flex a bit based on needs—I'm scattered but always solid! Why This Schedule? My dogs (and maybe me too) have some serious separation anxiety, so I need to be home during parts of the day to care for them, give them dedicated playtime, and keep things balanced. For safety—especially after what happened to Chip—I only do our long group walks and dog park visits at night; my pups are too much to handle together during the day, and evenings feel safer overall. This setup lets me provide attentive, enriching care for your dog without overcommitting. I know the struggle of finding someone who gets it—I've been there myself. About: I recently graduated from Fort Valley State University with a degree in Veterinary Technology and currently work in a vet clinic, which gives me daily hands-on experience with animals of all ages and needs. Because of my schedule, I’m very flexible after my shifts and on my days off, making it easy to accommodate evening walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. I love working with active dogs who need lots of exercise and playtime, but I’m also experienced with senior pets and those needing medication or special attention. My background in veterinary care means I know how to keep pets safe, healthy, and happy and I treat every pet like they’re my own! Working at a vet clinic, caring for animals is part of my everyday life! After my shifts, I have a flexible schedule to walk, play with, and look after pets. Spending time with animals is truly what I love to do. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their normal routine as closely as possible when it comes to feeding, walks, playtime, and potty breaks at their usual times. I give pets lots of love and attention to help them feel comfortable while their owner is away. If any medications or special instructions are needed, I handle those carefully. I always keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pet is happy and safe.
