About: Since childhood, I've been trusted to look after other people's pets. I grew up with dogs of my own, as well as animals of all kinds, so I have a lot of experience with pets of all personalities and temperaments. I also worked with a vet for three years, have a biology degree with an emphasis on animal science, and have a special needs pet myself, so I'm confident giving medications, maintaining any recovery care, or whatever else your dog may need. I'd love to be friends with your pup! I am self-employed and currently work from home most of the week, so I have some flexibility when it comes to scheduling! I am available for drop-in visits or walks Monday-Friday. As all of my services will take place in the client's home, I will follow any instructions that the client gives me in regards to pet care. It is my goal that your pet's routine is as uninterrupted as possible.

“Hannah is so thoughtful and sweet with our fur babies. All of our worries for our trip disappeared after her first visit with them! She also went above and beyond to make sure our little beans would be well taken care of! Highly HIGHLY recommend:) Thanks again Hannah!!!!!!”

“Linda is Awsome! She takes care of my pets like they are her own. Even my very skittish cat has warmed up to her! Very attentive to their needs and leaves my house cleaner than I left it. 😁”

About: I am a stay at home mom to 2 girls, ages 4 and 5 and we recently moved to the area! My husband is in the Navy. We live in a townhouse in North Beach, MD. I have a cat that can be timid with new animals, and tends to hide until he feels more comfortable. I would love to help out with your furry family members! I hate when I have to be away from mine so I would give them tons of love so they feel comfortable and at home while you are away. I am available for all needs except for pet sitting in your home, since I have kiddos that need me at my home. Please let me know if I can help you out in any way! Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you. I am with my girls a lot this summer but they would LOVE to accompany me on visits with your pet! I will have a lot more independent time this fall once they start school. We do not have a fenced in yard but I would be happy to do as many walks as needed for your pup! Our cat can be weary with new animals but he hides and then warms up quickly.

About: I've taken care of 3 of my friends' family dogs for about 8 years now. I'm trusted with watching their family's houses for extended periods of time. I have been paid and I've also volunteered for this work. I take care of my older brother who is mentally challenged and I've babysat him for about 7-8 years now. He is such a joy to take care of. I currently work part-time, so my schedule is mostly open on weekdays and weekends. I tend to wake up early 6-8AM, so it's no problem if I'm needed in the mornings. I also have a car that I'm able to use. One house I watch has a fenced in yard for the dog. They also have one indoor cat and one outdoor cat who are easy to take care of. The indoor cat stays upstairs, so I have to routinely check on her to make sure her food/water are supplied. She also loves pets whenever I come up. I love spending time with her. Another dog is in a townhouse. I walk her around the neighborhood when she needs it and I will feed her twice a day. The final dog has an unfenced yard, but she's very well trained and stays within the property. She gets anxious when the family leaves, so I try my best to give her love and attention so she doesn't miss them too much.

“Lisa did a great job with our new puppy. She was prompt and was able to stay a bit longer than we originally planned. She sent photos and got the puppy out for several walks (with no accidents in the house!). I definitely recommend Lisa.”

“Jessica was very responsible and extremely caring and hands-on with our senior cat (and hamster too). She did several check-ins a day and spent many overnights which requires a high level of trust and Jessica went above and beyond. She communicated constantly with updates, pictures and videos (seriously, top-notch communication) and she left our home in perfect condition. Our animals took right to her and I am grateful to have found someone so kind and committed.”

Woodland Hills cat parents share their Rover experiences
Jen did an excellent job taking care of our 3 picky cats. She had a lot of patience dealing with feeding our cats. She contacted us because she was concerned that 1 of our cats wouldn't come out of hiding to eat his wet food. Everything was fine when we got back home.

Savanna took such great care of our two cats will we were on vacation! Our older cat needed medication applied to her ears and fed wet food so I was nervous leaving her. Savanna was patient with her and made sure she ate and got her daily meds. I was able to enjoy the time away without worrying as Savanna updated me after each visit. She is awesome, thanks again, Savanna!!
