“WE WERE TURNED AWAY BY SOOOO MANY SITTERS... I checked the schedule of every sitter before making contact to ensure that they were available. I made contact with at least 10 sitters and got "I'm out of town" or no response at all. The issue was my dog was asked not to return to a commercial kennel "Muddy Paws." There was no violence or aggressive behavior, just anxiety shown by barking, howling, tipping food, and water. But all of this is in Ash's bio, and finally, someone was real enough to tell me. "After reading your dogs bio, I don't feel comfortable with him." So I gave up and started to cancel a much needed family vacation. Then I got a small sign and tried Lindsay. She was the only one who asked, "What happened at Muddy Paws?". From there, we exchanged texts, and she asked if we could have a meet and greet that day. We had a wonderful meet and greet, and she took Ash for our vacation. And from there, we were thoroughly impressed. We got pictures, videos, and text messages. My wife actually got a little jealous due to how comfortable Ash looked and smiled in every picture. Plus, he found a new best friend in her dog, Remi. Now, if you are curious to know how Ash did, I highly recommend you ask Lindsay. She even went as far as to write something the other sitters could read that would educate them on Ash's behavior. About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was a little 9 year old girl when I got one of my very own. They bring so much joy to my life. I am a substitute teacher so my summers are completely free! About: I have had dogs, cats, birds etc my entire life and can take care of any kind of pet young, old, special needs. I currently have a rescue dog named Zena (age 1) and a siberian forest cat named max (age 5) and they get along well with all other animals. I am also fully vetted by the A Darrah Bully Bull Rescue as I've adopted and volunteer for the rescue. I work Monday-Friday during the day and home in the late afternoon/ early evenings so weekends are best for boarding but if your dog is crate trained I can take during the week. Able to do drop in care early mornings and evenings during the week and anytime on the weekends. I have a fenced in yard with a friendly dog and cat at home. Zena would love a playmate or buddy to walk with or swim in her little pool.
