About: I’ve been caring for dogs for many years and currently have two dogs of my own experience-wise, including raising one from a puppy. My first dog was a rescue who was a beloved member of my family until she passed away in 2024, which taught me a lot about patience, routine care, and caring for a dog through all stages of life. I also have a senior dog who is 12 years old, so I’m familiar with the extra attention and care older pets sometimes need. While I haven’t owned a cat myself, I’ve spent time around cats while visiting friends and family and am comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. I understand how important it is to keep pets safe, happy, and comfortable while their owners are away. Pet care is already a consistent part of my daily routine since I have dogs of my own. Each day I’m used to feeding, walking, playing with, and checking in on them, so caring for animals fits naturally into my schedule. Because I work part-time as a swim instructor in the mornings and have lighter hours outside of that, I have plenty of flexibility during the day and evening to care for other pets. On a weekly basis, I’m available most afternoons, evenings, and parts of the weekend, and I’m comfortable adjusting my schedule to meet a pet’s needs and routine. Safety and trust are very important to me when caring for pets. In my own home, I care for my dogs by keeping a clean, calm, and safe environment. I make sure they always have fresh water, proper feeding schedules, and regular exercise. I’m attentive to their behavior and needs, and I prioritize keeping them comfortable and stress-free. When caring for pets in a client’s home through drop-ins or walks, I respect each pet’s routine and follow all instructions carefully. About: I had dogs growing up as a child and have taken care of them on and off throughout my whole life, but some specific examples of pet care include: taking care of my Grandparents 2 dogs when they no longer could, taking care of my best friends dogs (and many cats) when she goes on vacation, & of course taking care of my 2 cats that I am currently a mom of (I have had cats throughout my whole adult life). About: I am very good with reactive dogs, having had one myself. I have tried to become as knowledgeable as I can in all things dog, but am always willing to learn new things to better suit yours pups needs! I am working towards becoming an Animal Behaviorist! Dogs are my whole life and my goal is to give them the love and appreciation that they deserve, and meeting all their needs so they aren’t as stressed when their parents have to go somewhere! About: I have 15 years of pet care experience. Growing up my grandmother always needed help with her cat and dog, whether it was feeding them or walking Spuds! I have experience in bathing both cats and dogs and I personally give my cats a quarterly wash-down. I am comfortable with administering topical ointments or giving shots if needed. About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, chickens, and ducks for family and friends when they needed someone. I’m very comfortable doing longer periods of time if needed, I love playing with animals on top of just the necessities! I’m currently working part-time and I’m able to schedule around certain times as needed. In the fall I start college again with plenty of break times! I prefer to stay where the animals are used to. About: I've taken care of my late dog Freckles for 14 years. Walks and feedings every day. Played with her as a puppy. I'm available any time except Thursday and Friday nights until 9 pm as I have a scheduled job during that time.
